Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

In the mountaineering circle, those who dare to climb Mount Everest from the north ridge are already considered gods, and if one climbs solo with sponsorship from Red Bull, they are gods among gods.

Watching Li Younan disappear from their view at an incredibly fast speed, they finally realized that Li Younan had almost rushed from base camp to here without stopping, and continued his journey.

Without any so-called acclimatization?

And at this moment, his speed as he departed didn’t seem like walking at an altitude of 6,000 meters.

Is this the difference between gods and regular people?

All they were left with was awe.

...

Li Younan pressed on and arrived at the advance camp again before nightfall.

This timing isn’t really suitable for further ascent, so Li Younan had to rest for another night.

Luckily, the window hasn’t passed yet, and tomorrow morning he can smoothly go through the north col and reach Camp C1.

After resting for a night at the advance camp, upon waking up early the next day, Li Younan packed up his gear, restarted his livestream, and entered the streaming room.

At this moment, Red Bull’s official host and guests have not yet gone online.

His current audience comprises global followers from various platforms, with distribution to a streaming room, so Li Younan cannot see their comments.

But this doesn’t affect Li Younan from introducing what he is doing to the camera.

Li Younan smiled at the camera and said, ”Next, we’ll set off from the advance camp, and today’s main task is to climb the north col.”

After checking his gear again, Li Younan officially set off.

The upcoming section is a steep slope entirely covered with thick snow, and for the journey ahead, he’ll need to wear crampons for the climb.

Feet crunching on the snow, Li Younan’s gaze continuously scanned this stretch of road.

After a while, he spoke to the camera: ”Actually, I’m looking for the best route to ski down this section. As it stands, it’s a very ideal ski slope.”

Along the way, many climbing teams moving upwards are visible, which depicts the current real scene of Mount Everest.

Though this place remains a death zone, it no longer lacks human presence.

Teams of a dozen or even several dozen people in bright red attire, strung together, climbed slowly upward.

Li Younan moved swiftly, quickly passing them by.

Climbers along the route looked at Li Younan with a bit of surprise as he left.

Altitude steadily rose, and this slope entirely covered in snow stretched for several kilometers.

”Skiing down from here should be quite thrilling,” Li Younan said as he climbed.

Soon, Li Younan reached a 400-meter-high icy snow wall.

Standing here, Li Younan finally paused.

He said to the camera, ”Take a look, this is the first major challenge on the north ridge. It requires mastering some crampon climbing techniques. It’s also the sole passage connecting the advance camp to high-altitude camps.”

”Next, I’ll demonstrate some key actions for climbing such a snow wall. Of course, they might not be entirely correct, so watch and learn critically.”

Subsequently, Li Younan moved the front-facing camera to the side, took out an ice axe, and began preparing to climb.

But before that, he naturally took some time to observe.

Li Younan’s gaze swept across the icy wall above. This ice snow wall wasn’t exactly a vertical plane, looking from afar, the average slope seemed about 50 degrees, with particularly steep areas around 70 degrees.

With the assistance of his system skills, a very reasonable climbing route quickly presented itself to him.

This route wasn’t an old path from previous climbers; comparatively, it featured high technical barriers, but was very suitable for Li Younan.

Additionally, he carefully considered the most logical way to design a ski route down from there.

Once planning everything in his mind, Li Younan then formally began climbing.

So far, Li Younan had been effortlessly climbing.

Until he climbed about 200 meters or so up a small platform and suddenly a red figure appeared in his sight, lying approximately thirty to forty meters away from where he stood.

Li Younan’s heart immediately sank slightly and he said to the camera, ”There seems to be a person over there, let’s go over and see what’s going on.”

Li Younan fiercely struck the ice axe into the snow wall, cautiously approaching the person.

Upon closer inspection, the body seemed to be a woman, lying there, seemingly unconscious.

Li Younan frowned, a sense of ominous apprehension gripping his heart, then gently touched the person, asking, ”Hey, are you okay?”

However, the next moment his expression changed; instead of soft flesh, he felt a sensation as hard as stone!

This feeling was hard to describe.

At this point, the comments in the livestream started flashing.

”Surely it’s a corpse; there are many such bodies on Mount Everest.”

”Why doesn’t this person look decomposed?”

”Previous commenter, you’re mistaken, this is Mount Everest, colder than your freezer at home; corpses can’t decompose.”

”Damn, is it possible that Li Younan is seeing such a scene for the first time?”

”Li Younan, are you alright?”

These comments were invisible to Li Younan at the moment, who after a period of silence looking at the corpse shook his head, said nothing more, sighed, and continued climbing up.

From then on, he did not interact with the livestream room, merely climbing quietly.

Finally, two to three hours later, he successfully ascended the north col, reaching Camp C1.

And at Camp C1, there was another team present.

This was a small group of six or seven, currently preparing lunch.

Li Younan’s stomach rumbled, feeling a bit hungry.

At this moment, he suddenly noticed the guide from the group, directly digging snow to boil water.

Li Younan’s eyes twinkled slightly...
