Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

For Li Younan, in fact, helping Professor Zhang find that USB drive wasn’t the most core reason.

The more important reason he chose to go up was actually because... since he was already here, and his climbing skills had now reached Level 3, climbing up to the canyon’s rock face to take in the scenery might be an excellent experience.

And during this process, if he could find a clue for Professor Zhang, that would be great, but even Li Younan didn’t hold out much hope.

When they reached the bottom of the canyon again, Sorlung Tendro asked, ”How are the safety ropes set up?”

Li Younan smiled, ”The safety ropes will restrict the movement route and affect flexibility, so I plan to climb up with my bare hands.”

Hearing Li Younan, everyone was stunned.

Professor Zhang quickly said, ”You can’t joke like that; you still need some protection measures.”

Li Younan calmly looked at the rock face; it wasn’t bare but covered with various vegetation growing chaotically.

And in Li Younan’s eyes, the three-dimensional rock face seemed to turn into a plane, so mentally, he wasn’t nervous at all.

Li Younan smiled, showing the safety rope around his waist to the others, ”After going up, I’ll attach the safety rope in some appropriate places; there won’t be any issues.”

”Back in Canada, I climbed a particularly challenging rock face without protection, and I even had a sheep on my back at that time... Even more difficult was Gongga Mountain, where some places were far more challenging to climb than this rock face.”

After hearing Li Younan, Professor Zhang emotionally said, ”Teacher Li, if you don’t find it up there, don’t force it.”

Sorlung Tendro earnestly said, ”Then you must be careful.”

At this point, the drone had already risen, and Liu Li and Tuantuan were waiting on the side.

Of course, there was a small episode here.

After all, the Tuantuan brought by Liu Li was a national-level protected owl, and several experienced officers immediately focused their eyes on Tuantuan.

Then, just as Sorlung Tendro was about to say something, before he could utter a word, Li Younan had already spoken: ”It’s like this, this owl is one I rescued in the wild. I have done proper legal processing, which does not involve any illegal wildlife protection breaches.”

As he spoke, Li Younan somewhat smugly showed his certificate.

However, this made Sorlung Tendro pause for a moment, then with a slightly strange expression, he shook his head: ”Oh, Teacher Li, you misunderstood. I wasn’t intending to question your legal rescue of wildlife. After all, as an animal expert like you, you surely have the proper documents. I’m just a bit surprised; this owl seems quite intelligent...”

This left Li Younan feeling a bit disoriented, as if his punch had landed on cotton; his moment wasn’t as satisfying as it could have been...

He looked at Tuantuan with a bit of discontent. Intelligent? This silly bird.

To speak of intelligence, owls aren’t low in IQ among birds, but compared to crows, African grey parrots, or even magpies, they’re still a bit foolish.

Tuantuan tilted its head, looking at Li Younan with a puzzled expression.

Under everyone’s gaze, Li Younan began to climb up.

When his hand touched the protruding part of the rock face, it was like his body became a bolt of lightning, and he instantly entered another state.

At this moment, he was actually somewhat surprised.

Previously, he had felt the power of Level 3 skills in drawing, and this skill related to physical functions was even more impactful.

After reaching Level 3, his strength, endurance, and flexibility had been developed to the utmost, even exceeding what ordinary people could imagine.

At this moment, his entire hand was placed on a protruding rock, but he had a very clear feeling that he didn’t need the whole hand’s grip strength at all.

In climbing, there are difficulty ratings, and rock points above 9C plus are often only a few millimeters wide. Top climbers can support their entire body weight with a single finger, even performing dynamic fingertip jumps.

Li Younan could do the same things, and his stamina was even more astonishing than today’s top climbing masters.

Now, he felt that even if he let go of his whole hand and left only one finger hooked on a small protrusion on the rock, it would be enough to hang his entire body.

And as he climbed up, the feeling became even more marvelous.

Indeed, his core strength and body control reached an unbelievable level, so he effortlessly climbed up without any sense of exertion.

If not for the weight below reminding him of the ground beneath his feet, he might have had the illusion of crawling close to the ground.

Climbing without footholds was extremely easy, and compared to professional bouldering competitions, the actual difficulty of this rock was lower because the protruding points were so easy to grip with both feet and hands.

In a way, it’s not just that 90-degree walls are easy for him to climb; any rock face formed naturally, even if it’s greater than 90 degrees, wouldn’t be a problem.

Very quickly, Li Younan’s figure disappeared among the vegetation on the rock wall.
