Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

It’s already able to discover the patterns in nature and is trying to utilize them?

It’s terrifying.

During the day, he teases the birds, and at night, everything feels warm and cozy with Liu Li.

Except for the first night when it was a bit chaotic, the second night, Liu Li was peacefully studying.

Currently, her main focus is on learning English, memorizing words every day, with Li Younan as her practice partner.

Learning English is actually easiest and most effective by reading and memorizing a lot. The more you read, the more you’ll be able to speak and understand English.

Red Bull kept their promise and, on the third day, a fleet of three off-road vehicles emblazoned with the Red Bull logo arrived at the base camp.

This team flew directly over, while the vehicles were rented locally.

They brought the cooperation agreement and a full set of livestream equipment pre-arranged with Li Younan.

This set of livestream equipment, worth hundreds of thousands, didn’t take up much space or weight in the backpack.

As Jimmy had discussed with Li Younan previously, the entire set of equipment only weighed around 5 kilograms.

Of course, for any athlete climbing Mount Everest, 5 kilograms is an extremely significant weight, so the Red Bull staff who arrived were somewhat hesitant.

But for Li Younan, this posed no problem at all. Instead, he politely expressed his gratitude to Red Bull.

Next, Red Bull planned to send a journalist with the team to accompany Li Younan to the advanced base camp, capturing some footage along the way for future documentary production.

However, Li Younan declined, as he had already been delayed for more than two days and didn’t want to waste more time.

He told the Red Bull staff, ”I will be livestreaming the entire journey, and I will be moving quickly, so I may not be able to accommodate the journalist and photographer.”

”As for the documentary, we can think of other ways to compensate for some of the footage later. After all, the third-person panoramic camera footage should be enough for editing.”

The Red Bull convoy arrived on the morning of the third day, and once the equipment handover was complete, along with two cans of Red Bull to drink at the summit, Li Younan set out again.

This time, he used the brand-new livestream equipment, and the livestream was led by Red Bull, using their channels for global, multi-platform broadcasting instead of his account.

This wasn’t just a simple personal livestream; it was backed by a full-fledged program production system, including hosts, guests, and a studio, with all essential elements in place.

The livestream on Douyin was under Red Bull’s official account, and in addition to that, the broadcast was also being simultaneously aired on overseas platforms like YouTube, and even some Western TV shows, which was quite easy for Red Bull to achieve.

After about two hours of trekking, Li Younan’s livestream equipment was finally set up.

This livestream experience was much better for Li Younan.

His streaming footage was directly integrated into Red Bull’s official livestream room. There were hosts and guests to chat with, unlike before when he was alone, and the fast-scrolling comments were hard to read.

Of course, the hosts and guests only came online at specific times; most of the time, the livestream featured only Li Younan’s footage.

Some fans who had been following Li Younan’s stream for a long time started to complain.

After all, Li Younan had, without warning, cut off the signal for two or three days.

Many speculated why he didn’t resume streaming as scheduled the following morning.

However, no one thought that Li Younan had encountered an accident; most speculated that there might have been a malfunction with his equipment.

After all, in such extreme cold conditions, battery issues are common.

When Li Younan came back online, he was on a different platform with smoother equipment.

To make it even more unbelievable, everyone noticed the Red Bull logo on his helmet.

”Haven’t seen him for three days, and when he comes online again, why does he have a Red Bull on his head?”

”I suspected as much. I was wondering why Red Bull was so quiet about Li Younan’s challenge.”

”Yeah, totally! What could be more in line with Red Bull’s sponsorship style than Li Younan’s challenge?”

The newly online host was an experienced gentleman. The program format of the livestream room was presented in split-screen; one side of the screen showed real-time footage sent by Li Younan, and the other side showed the studio feed.

Once the connection was made, Li Younan heard the host’s voice through his equipment, ”Alright, we’ve connected with Li Younan. Younan, can you hear us?”

It’s worth mentioning, although this was between the base camp and the transition camp at an altitude of five to six thousand meters, since 2024, the 5G signal on Mount Everest has been fully covered, allowing the host and Li Younan to communicate without any delay.

The funny scenes in news broadcasts where the studio host connects to a field reporter, waits, and finally hears back after a few awkward seconds, ”Okay, host...” would no longer happen.

Li Younan chuckled, ”I’m feeling great.”

The host then introduced Li Younan to the audience, although the information shared was already well-known by everyone.
