Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

In Rikaze, there are two check-in spots, the city area and the Mount Everest Base Camp.

Li Younan could almost guess that the check-in task at the Mount Everest Base Camp would definitely be to climb Mount Everest.

In fact, the system wouldn’t consciously design some unexpected tasks; since Mount Everest is the highest peak in the world, it makes little sense not to arrange a climbing task for those who have come here.

With the boost from so many skills, this task wasn’t as difficult as people might imagine for Li Younan.

The check-in task in Rikaze’s urban area was a bit more complex.

This task required him to take 50 master-level photos, each with a distinctive Tibetan cultural, natural, and folk scene element.

Undoubtedly, this would be a time-consuming task, but fortunately, Li Younan always maintained a peaceful and leisurely mindset.

For the next period, he wandered around with Liu Li, visiting nearby scenic spots in Rikaze to check in and take photos, such as Zashilunbu Temple, Baiju Temple, Sajia Temple, and the like.

Or places with natural scenery like Yamdrok Lake, Pumoyongco Lake, Nianchu River, and others.

Or the marketplaces and residential areas in the city of Rikaze.

Just like a photographer on a journey.

Even for Li Younan, taking master-level photos wasn’t that easy.

When a scene appeared before him, he naturally had a master-level sense for capturing it, but not every scene had the potential to become a master-level work, requiring some luck and diligent searching.

Days passed by, and during this time, the little crow named Fantasy gradually transformed from a half-fledged chick into a fully grown bird that could fly.

Li Younan learned training techniques for crows online, trying to make Fantasy understand some things, which turned out to be surprisingly easy for him.

He began to truly understand why crows are known as the smartest birds, and the most astonishing thing to him was that Fantasy understood two-way communication.

It wasn’t just passively receiving commands but also tried to make Li Younan understand some of its thoughts. Can you deal with that?

For instance, when it was hungry, it wouldn’t just caw, but also run over to Li Younan with an empty plate, and if he didn’t notice, it would even clang the metal plate incessantly until it got his attention.

Moreover, once when Li Younan went out, he clearly remembered closing the glass door of Fantasy’s little house, yet upon returning, Fantasy was strutting proudly on the booth’s table.

Li Younan initially thought he had remembered wrong; later, when he checked the video replay, he found this little fellow had imitated the way Li Younan opened the door before, using its beak to hook the latch and open the door.

Huh?

Is that reasonable?

Similar scenarios had also been pointed out by Liu Li.

The things Liu Li mentioned happening with Fantasy were even more fantastical...

The smart AI hub in the RV could accept voice commands, and Liu Li often used voice to ask the AI to turn off the lights.

One time while Li Younan was out on a walk, Liu Li was sitting in the booth studying when she suddenly heard a deep voice command, ”Asrada.”

”I’m here, Master.”

Still stunned, Liu Li then heard another command: ”Turn off the light.”

And the light went out.

Liu Li almost thought she’d seen a ghost.

This voice was, of course, from Fantasy.

Liu Li was already mentally prepared for the fact that crows can mimic human speech, so she wasn’t too surprised by this; however, this crow had sneakily mimicked the daily operation of voice commands and learned it?

As Fantasy gradually began to demonstrate its intelligence, it completely trampled Tuantuan underfoot.

Compared to Fantasy, Tuantuan seemed much dumber.

Somehow Fantasy discovered that not only was Tuantuan gentle by nature, but it also had poor eyesight and low energy during the day, making it easy prey for Fantasy’s mischievous pranks.

For instance, when Tuantuan was snoozing on the perch during the day, Fantasy would deliberately fly next to it, peck its ear feathers, tap its wings, peck, and then quickly jump away.

Sometimes it would drop little trinkets on Tuantuan’s head or even mimic Tuantuan’s calls in a dissonant tone.

Tuantuan couldn’t sleep peacefully and could only squint angrily at it.

Thankfully, after getting a good scolding from Li Younan, Fantasy became much more behaved.

Even the fact that ”after being scolded, it became well-behaved” left Li Younan a bit speechless.

It showed that this creature really understood why it was being scolded.

Before adopting Fantasy, both Li Younan and Liu Li thought Tuantuan was quite smart, but now it was clear that Tuantuan was indeed like a Husky...

Whereas Fantasy was an undeniably tricky Border Collie type.

After spending some time in Rikaze, almost all of the photos were taken, with only two or three left, so Li Younan planned to head to the Mount Everest Base Camp to complete the last shots.

...

Just as Li Younan entered Rikaze, the young man named Lian Feng, whom they had previously encountered, had already begun his grand plan.

What surprised Li Younan was that after Lian Feng released his first video, he was met with a lot of skepticism, and he quickly released a second video responding to some of the doubts raised in the first video.

Lian Feng was not affected by the negative reviews and calmly explained in the video to everyone: ”I think everyone has misunderstood one thing. After reading your comments, I realized my previous explanation was problematic, so let me briefly address some of the main concerns.”
