Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

”You can refer to the Polish athlete; the sponsorship fee we gave him was 4 million US Dollars.”

”And if you can accomplish this feat and meet all the conditions I’ve mentioned, we will give you a one-time sponsorship fee of 8 million US Dollars, along with subsequent commercial income agreements!”

Upon hearing Jimmy’s offer, Li Younan’s mind froze for a moment.

It’s worth noting that during the last time on the ”Alone in the Wilderness” show, after months of exhausting efforts, the final prize was just 1 million US Dollars, and only after taxes and selling handcrafted items did it amount to around a million US Dollars.

But just by climbing Mount Everest and skiing down, I can earn 8 million US Dollars?

Plus, with subsequent commercial revenue, Red Bull has truly shown great sincerity here.

With this money, the idea of getting a boat to play by the seaside can be easily realized.

But at this moment, Jimmy switched gears and said, ”However, this is based on your successful challenge. These are the conditions we can offer.”

”If—I’m saying if, although none of us wish for this to happen, it’s indeed likely, even at a significant probability, that the challenge fails, perhaps even costing your life, we won’t be able to provide the full sponsorship.”

”But we will offer 2 million US Dollars to your relatives.”

”If you agree, we can move on to the next phase of the discussion.”

Li Younan didn’t pay much attention to the consequences of failure mentioned by Jimmy but was curious to ask, ”Although we’ve installed 5G signal towers at the 6500-meter forward base camp, theoretically there should be signal as we continue upwards, but above 7000 meters, due to beamforming technology, the signal isn’t very stable for a full live stream... it seems unlikely.”

Jimmy said, ”Don’t worry; you might not be very familiar with this aspect.”

”But we have extensive experience.”

”Signal instability above 7000 meters is only concerning individual streaming.”

”In fact, we can ensure stable streaming using both 5G and satellite dual-link communication, including direct connections via maritime satellites BGN and Asia-Pacific II R satellites.”

”Of course, this requires you to carry some new equipment, including the T1 weapon backpack, freeze-proof camera, portable encoder, and satellite phone, and you’ll need to apply for communication permits. The communication cost is about 300,000 Yuan, and the equipment weighs around five kilograms, but rest assured, we’ll cover these costs. You’ll just have to bear the extra weight—which might add some difficulty and risk to your climb.”

Li Younan was a bit surprised, thought for a moment, and said, ”So, within three days, you’ll have these things delivered to me?”

Jimmy laughed heartily and said, ”As long as you agree, we’ll immediately prepare these items, and they’ll arrive at Rikaze airport by tomorrow on a flight, definitely reaching the base camp within two to three days.”

”However, from base camp to the forward base, our staff might find it difficult to come up personally, so you’ll have to make the trip to retrieve them.”

”But for you, this path should be easy, just consider it high-altitude acclimatization training.”

It must be said that Li Younan was truly tempted.

Although he was currently streaming, this setup was far inferior to professional equipment worth hundreds of thousands.

Initially, his streaming was just for fun, so he hadn’t considered investing so much.

But now Red Bull not only offered generous sponsorship but also planned to upgrade his streaming equipment.

All he had to do was wait a few more days and head back from the forward base.

This cost really isn’t much, considering that those genuinely climbing Mount Everest have to shuttle back and forth between the forward base and C1 for several days.

Li Younan accepted, thus forming the initial cooperation framework.

The next day, Li Younan packed up and prepared to descend.

Since he was heading back, Li Younan was too lazy to stream.

Knowing that some trolls can’t stand others’ success and many lack independent thinking, if someone stirs the pot claiming ”fear” or ”hype,” even though the truth would eventually slap them in the face, Li Younan didn’t bother explaining.

So he simply didn’t stream, directly returning.

Of course, not streaming would lead to issues, as fans waiting for his stream might overthink.

However, compared to explaining while streaming on the descent, this seemed easier.

For most, descending is harder than ascending, but for Li Younan, this was not a problem at all.

The next day he carefully packed his gear and descended swiftly.

Originally, the journey from the forward base to the transition camp and then to Mount Everest’s base camp would take at least half a day, yet Li Younan covered most of it in one morning.

During this, he naturally encountered the climbing team he met before; they’re still undergoing acclimatization training.

Seeing Li Younan coming down, they didn’t ask whether he gave up or the other reasons, but their expressions more or less revealed their thoughts: with sympathy and encouragement, they patted Li Younan on the shoulder.

In such a life-threatening zone, climbers are very cordial with each other.

Li Younan didn’t bother explaining, greeted them simply, and continued down.

By afternoon, Li Younan returned to the base camp.

In the RV of the base camp, Liu Li was comfortably lounging in the oxygen zone, lazily looking at a book on the sofa, dressed in an ungraceful lounging dress.

Her sleepwear drooped down, revealing glimpses of wonders beneath.

Li Younan unlocked the door with his fingerprint and walked in, stunned by the scene.

Liu Li was startled and fell off the sofa.

”Ah!”

In the final moment, Li Younan heard a pained gasp and saw bare, fair-skinned legs.
