Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Chapter 246: Chapter 119: Farewell to the ”Second-Tier” Actress (Part 2)

Lan Yiyi just calmly said, ”Let’s take a look first.”

...

Today was not the official start of filming, so everyone in the crew was dressed in casual clothes.

Lan Yiyi wore a pair of jeans and Martin boots on her feet, which were very suitable for horseback riding.

They, along with the ranch owner, went to the so-called wild horses nearby.

These horses appeared obviously taller, stronger, and more spirited.

However, when so many people approached, the horses all showed an alert expression, with a somewhat unruly temperament.

Lan Yiyi immediately took a liking to the snow-white horse, not because it looked the strongest, but simply because it looked the most beautiful.

Lan Yiyi said, ”Bring that horse over for me.”

The ranch owner frowned and explained to Lan Yiyi, ”Among these horses, this one is considered quite fierce. Usually, tourists can’t handle it.”

Lan Yiyi replied seriously, ”That’s for regular tourists, I’m from class two.”

The ranch owner was stunned for a moment, and Lan Yiyi had already headed straight towards the white horse.

Man and horse exchanged glances. With the trainer’s help holding the reins, she neatly stepped forward and mounted the horse, the movement swift and crisp, stunning the assistant director nearby.

He knew Lan Yiyi could ride, but he thought she was the type who could just sit on a horse.

An expert reveals their skills the moment they act, and the ranch owner could tell as soon as he saw Lan Yiyi’s mounting stance.

At this moment, the horse under Lan Yiyi became noticeably restless, twisting its body and hopping a bit in place.

If it were a regular tourist, they would surely be screaming in fright, panicking, and possibly getting thrown off if the horse got startled.

Seeing this, the assistant was nervous, and the assistant director also looked anxiously at the ranch owner.

Sitting on the horse, Lan Yiyi didn’t think it was a big deal; a slightly spirited horse having such reactions was quite normal.

She just followed the horse’s twists and struggles, moving her body rhythmically, always maintaining balance and control, and gently stroked the horse’s neck.

That’s it?

Hehe, a wild horse?

Seemingly sensing that Lan Yiyi on its back was a capable rider, the white horse quickly calmed down.

The assistant immediately breathed a sigh of relief, the assistant director’s eyes lit up. He knew Lan Yiyi could ride, but didn’t expect her to be so skilled, capable of taming what the ranch owner called a wild horse so smoothly.

The ranch owner, thoughtful, asked, ”Young lady, do you ride horses often?”

Lan Yiyi said proudly, ”We have a ranch at home too.”

The ranch owner was slightly surprised.

Lan Yiyi collected the reins and asked, ”Can I ride this horse a bit in front?”

By now, Lan Yiyi had proven her ability, easing the tension of everyone present.

The ranch owner nodded and simply explained the route ahead, pointing out the boundary, some undulating hills to watch for.

The assistant director had already broken into a smile, continuing to discuss horse rentals with the ranch owner: ”This time we need to rent more than 10 horses at once. Of course, we also need the services of the trainers. Including this horse, we can wait for two more tourist horses to come back, and it should be enough.”

While the two were negotiating, the assistant girl anxiously looked into the distance, where Lan Yiyi, riding the white horse, had already galloped far, far away in the blink of an eye.

That horse is really handsome, and Lan Yiyi looked so cool as she galloped.

...

In the distance, Huang Xiaoyang, Li Younan, and their group quietly watched as Lan Yiyi’s horse ran out of sight.

Li Younan was a bit surprised; he hadn’t expected Lan Yiyi to be so good at riding. Although her riding skills were somewhat inferior to his, boosted by the system to a value above 90, it was undoubtedly far superior to the clumsy Huang Xiaoyang.

Watching this scene, Huang Xiaoyang’s mind wandered to other matters, he slightly furrowed his brow, then snorted, ”That boss just told me there were no more horses. Let’s go ask what’s going on again.”

...

At this moment, three more tourists, escorted by the trainers, returned riding horses.

The ranch owner led two horses over and said to the assistant director, ”Director Liu, what do you think of these two horses?”

The assistant director nodded repeatedly, ”They’re both fine.”

Huang Xiaoyang slightly furrowed his brow but remained polite, ”Boss, you just said there were no spare horses.”

Hearing this, the ranch owner looked at Huang Xiaoyang in confusion.

Huang Xiaoyang pointed to the more temperamental horses, ”I see there are a few more over there, and...” he paused, ”I just saw a girl riding past on a horse. I mean, is there any special reason these horses can’t be rented?”

The ranch owner forced a couple of laughs, ”Brother, it’s not that I don’t want to rent you horses. Those ones are quite spirited; I really can’t rent them. If you fall, I can’t bear that responsibility.”

Huang Xiaoyang pondered for a moment.

To defuse the situation, the assistant director said, ”That’s our actress; she grew up around horses and can ride on her own.”

The ranch owner nodded, ”That’s the case.” However, he thought for a moment, then pointed to the only horse just returned and said, ”If you want to rent, I have this one horse that just came back, I can rent it to you.”
