Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Chapter 238: Chapter 117: That Place, You Can Ride Horses

In the rearview mirror, Huang Xiaoyang still wore an immersed expression, leaning against the car window, gazing at the scenery outside.

Dan Dan was no longer asleep, leaning on Huang Xiaoyang’s shoulder, her head tilted as she looked outside. But more often, her gaze would fall on Huang Xiaoyang’s chin and face.

The scenery outside the car window became monotonous and vast, with endless tawny grass slopes and occasional flocks.

The sky was high and distant, appearing very spacious.

Arriving at the bank of the Morgle River.

The river flow was not large, meandering through the expansive river valley meadows, with the exposed riverbed wider than the stream.

Getting off the car, the wind immediately rushed into the collar, cold and carrying the scent of grass.

Standing on a high ground overlooking, the curve of the river was clearly visible on the tawny grassland, stretching all the way to the horizon.

The meadows by the riverbank were somewhat muddy and slippery.

The surroundings were extremely quiet, with only the sound of the wind and occasional bird calls.

Facing this vast, silent, and slightly desolate autumn river valley, the first feeling was the expanse of nature and one’s own insignificance.

This place is actually quite suitable for photography; Li Younan remembered that Dan Dan brought a set of red dresses, suitable for a set of individual photos.

Li Younan communicated his idea to the two of them, and Huang Xiaoyang nodded, indicating no problem.

Dan Dan said, ”Then you two wait outside the car for a bit, I’ll change clothes in the car.”

Before long, when Dan Dan got off the car again, she was already wearing that beautiful red long dress.

A gentle breeze blew, causing the hem of the dress to sway.

Li Younan noticed that this guy Huang Xiaoyang looked momentarily stunned.

Without further ado, Li Younan picked up the camera and directed Dan Dan to walk ahead.

At the same time, he constantly adjusted his posture, trying to find the best angle.

When a gust of wind blew through, the red dress and the ribbon at the neckline danced in the breeze, and the scene was captured in Li Younan’s camera: the horizon, the desolate grassland, and the long river.

After the shoot, Huang Xiaoyang immediately came over.

Seeing the original shot, a hint of surprise flashed in his eyes, followed by a long gaze.

After a while, he slightly nodded.

Compared to Huang Xiaoyang’s restraint, Dan Dan expressed her emotions much more directly: ”This photo is really beautiful, feels amazing!”

Li Younan smiled: ”As long as you like it, but this scene isn’t really suitable for photographing Huang Xiaoyang; he doesn’t have any decent clothes.”

Huang Xiaoyang, indifferent as ever, squinted into the distance, and after a moment, he said lightly: ”There are still several days, take your time to shoot.”

The morning was mainly spent taking photos of Dan Dan.

At noon, they had a buffet at the visitor center. To Li Younan’s surprise, the buffet actually offered roast whole lamb, quite a nice meal.

After eating, there was no rush to move on to the next destination.

Huang Xiaoyang checked his watch and said: ”Based on my schedule, the morning itinerary is quicker than I imagined. We can rest a little before officially setting off.”

He had a precise grip on the departure timing, but if things were finished ahead of time, he wouldn’t rush to the next location.

Li Younan curiously asked him: ”What happens if there isn’t enough time?”

Huang Xiaoyang glanced at Li Younan, saying: ”End early.”

Li Younan understood; it meant that within the plan, it was possible to end a previous action early, but never start the next action early.

Looking at it this way, this trip would be very leisurely.

Shooting wedding dresses is indeed a time-consuming and labor-intensive task.

When couples prepare for a wedding photo shoot, they are usually excited, but this excitement transforms into monotony not long after the shoot begins.

Shuttling from one scene to another, eventually, they just wish for a speedy completion, abandoning all pre-shoot plans.

But that’s the experience of shooting with a wedding photography company, and in this regard, Huang Xiaoyang is obviously much smarter.

The entire five-day itinerary is all about leisurely travel, checking in spots, and casually taking photos, with the only extra task being changing into a few nice outfits; this experience would not be tiring.

After a long rest, everyone’s energy was restored.

Dan Dan still wore that red chiffon dress, which was quite suitable for taking photos on the grassland in mid-October.

From a professional perspective, the clash between yellow and red easily highlights the subject, and placing these two colors together creates a visually impactful image.

When photographing Dan Dan, Li Younan couldn’t help but recall early scenes from Zhang Yimou’s film ”Hero,” where Zhang Ziyi and Zhang Manyu fought amidst falling autumn leaves.

Sitting back in the car, Huang Xiaoyang said: ”When we park for a break later, change into the denim outfit I bought for you before, and I’ll change too.”

Li Younan felt a stir in his heart and asked: ”What’s the plan for this afternoon’s itinerary?”

Huang Xiaoyang looked far into the distance and said: ”In the afternoon, we’re going to the Tianxia Grassland Scenic Area.

”That place ... you can ride horses,” Huang Xiaoyang said.

Li Younan blinked and quietly put the car in gear and set off.

...

Although both are grasslands, the grassland in Hulun Bei’er is distinctly different from the Western Sichuan grasslands Li Younan visited before.

The Western Sichuan grassland, despite being on a plateau, has undulating hills within the grassland.

Looking out from both sides of the highway, it’s not a flat and endless grassland but an undulating and continuous hillside grassland.
