Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Chapter 242: Chapter 118: Though You’re Slow-Witted, You Ride Well

Understanding this, Huang Xiaoyang became calm and collaborated with Li Younan to complete the shooting.

Over there, Dan Dan was nervously getting on the horse under the coach’s guidance, looking both excited and scared.

Li Younan smoothly moved the camera over, and Dan Dan immediately controlled her expression, forcing a sweet smile.

Li Younan found it amusing; that’s how girls are, no matter the atmosphere, as long as the camera is pointed at them, their expressions naturally adjust to sweetness.

But this sweetness didn’t last long; as her horse moved, Dan Dan screamed in panic.

The coach found it funny: ”That’s the reaction a first-time rider should have.”

The two of them then took a few shots separately, and Li Younan directed Huang Xiaoyang and Dan Dan to ride the same horse for a few shots. The effect was naturally fantastic, even Li Younan was very pleased with these photos.

In a sense, they weren’t even wedding photos, but rather human-interest photography works with strong visual impact.

The coach, who was observing the whole time, curiously glanced at Li Younan’s camera and praised: ”If you hadn’t told me they were here for wedding photos, I’d have thought you hired models for a photoshoot! These photos are really good, much better than those taken by photographers in studios.”

A truly great photo can be distinguished at a glance by even those who haven’t studied photography—appreciation is a subconscious thing.

Afterward, they were on horseback, and Li Younan took a few shots of them in motion. Some images were particularly stunning, captured as the horses charged towards Li Younan, with such a sense of motion that Huang Xiaoyang couldn’t help but praise: ”This photo can be hung in my study.”

After finishing the shoot, Huang Xiaoyang naturally didn’t forget that Li Younan hadn’t ridden a horse yet.

The coach was naturally willing, after all, he charged by the hour.

Li Younan slowly packed up the camera, and the coach brought over the horse Dan Dan hardly rode, one with more energy, saying: ”Come on, you’re here, you might as well experience it.”

Of course, Li Younan wanted to try; watching Huang Xiaoyang clumsily riding around earlier had already made him eager.

The horse was led to him, and Li Younan, unable to contain his excitement, approached to touch the horse’s head. Then, man and horse exchanged a glance, and the horse instinctively adjusted its stance.

Li Younan patted the horse’s back: ”What a fine horse.”

The coach blinked; for someone who can’t ride, the first reaction to such a large animal should be a bit of fear.

In the next moment, the coach even forgot he hadn’t formally taught Li Younan to mount, as he watched him lightly get onto the horse, not even seeing if he used the stirrup.

The coach was a bit stunned and asked: ”Is this really your first time riding?”

Li Younan laughed out loud: ”I never said it was my first time riding. Didn’t I mention earlier? I rode horses in Western Sichuan.”

The coach blinked again: ”Not the kind where you pay 20 bucks for a photo as a tourist?”

Li Younan nodded and said: ”That too.”

Li Younan didn’t hide his equestrian skills; horse riding isn’t easy to quantify, and there’s no doubt he’s at a truly professional level.

Controlling balance and even performing some challenging moves on horseback is no difficulty for him.

But merely riding the horse, just controlling it to run around, isn’t anything to marvel at.

Li Younan lightly clamped the horse’s belly, his body rhythmically rising and falling with the horse’s movement.

Just from this scene alone, the coach could tell Li Younan wasn’t the beginner he imagined.

Even a fast-learning rookie needs time to gradually grasp the feeling of smooth riding.

Knowing this, he felt relieved.

Huang Xiaoyang was a bit stunned.

Dan Dan was also a bit stunned.

Li Younan first tried controlling the horse to run a small lap, quickly taming the horse completely, and the horse joyfully neighed.

Li Younan could equally feel the horse’s emotions.

Li Younan slightly bent down to whisper in the horse’s ear: ”You’ve suffered from people who don’t know how to ride, haven’t you? It’s alright, I’ll take you for a proper run, let’s have a comfortable ride.”

The horse seemed to understand Li Younan, excitedly tapping its hooves.

Li Younan loudly asked: ”Can I ride in that direction on my own?”

The coach hesitated a moment: ”Uh... sure.”

Receiving the affirmative answer, Li Younan laughed, turned the horse.

With a gentle shake of the reins and a squeeze of his legs, Li Younan commanded: ”Giddy-up!”

The horse instantly dashed forward.

The wind roared into Li Younan’s ears, carrying the crisp chill of dry grass and frost, stinging his face.

The ground surged wildly beneath, the sound of hooves pounding frozen earth echoed intensely, lodging in his bones.

Li Younan leaned forward, synchronizing perfectly with the horse’s gallop.

Every contraction and relaxation of muscle, every powerful stride, was clearly transmitted through the saddle to him.

When a low shrub of sand thorn appeared ahead, he leaned slightly, seamlessly gliding past as if bonded with the horse.
