Leisurely Traveler with Check-in System

Chapter 211: Chapter 110: The Way of Traversal

Under Ren Xiaohuan’s management, the small inn with only three guest rooms at Grandpa’s house was thriving and doing great business.

After deducting Ren Xiaohuan’s salary, it could still bring in several thousand yuan of income for Grandpa each month.

It might not sound like much, but living expenses in rural areas are low. Moreover, with only three guest rooms, the inn is providing a good sense of happiness.

Some villagers who saw the success of Grandpa’s courtyard renovation also wanted to imitate it.

Li Younan noticed that two college students had already returned home to renovate their family’s old houses.

Li Younan naturally didn’t take a penny from Grandpa’s old house income.

His current monthly income was already quite high.

The commercial negotiations were well managed by Brother Long. The advertising deals were with brands that didn’t affect their reputation, and ads weren’t inserted into every video, ensuring a good viewing experience for the fans.

For video bloggers, maintaining a long-term effective update is crucial to keep the popularity up. However, it’s hard for individuals without a team to consistently produce content.

Therefore, many video bloggers choose to quickly monetize during their peak popularity, as later it might not be feasible.

But for Li Younan, his content output is stable, so he doesn’t plan to exhaust the resources.

Even so, with earnings from traffic sharing, commercial deals, and the share given to JK Long, his monthly income can reach six figures.

Unconsciously, the balance on Li Younan’s bank card yet again reached hundreds of thousands.

Three days later, Ma Jing drove over and officially began the trunk drawer bed modification.

Ma Jing was also very curious about the modification process.

While Li Younan was working, she watched from the side.

Li Younan wanted to showcase his skills, so he chose to use high-tech tenon-and-mortise structures instead of simple screws and drills.

Although it took a bit longer, the finished product had more texture, was more advanced, and sturdier.

The modification process was filmed into a video, with Ma Jing serving as a free cell phone stand.

The final product turned out even better than Ma Jing had imagined.

Compared to Li Younan’s Land Cruiser, the Ford Mustang’s height was higher, but the car length was too short.

With the second row of seats folded down, the length from the trunk to the folded position was less than 1.6 meters.

To solve this issue, Li Younan created an extendable support structure; the drawer from the rear extended forward to fill the gap between the front seats, roughly 30 centimeters.

This way, the bed reached nearly 1.9 meters, more than enough for someone like Ma Jing to sleep comfortably.

Since this kind of modification does not alter the car’s structure, it can be considered as placing a cargo resembling a bed in the car. So even if the bed is constantly open, it’s compliant and can’t be flagged by traffic police.

Li Younan’s carpentry was extremely meticulous, with perfect alignment.

The bottom still retained drawers but only occupied half the trunk space as per Ma Jing’s request.

On the other side, he only helped her create storage space and added a foldable small table. When resting at night, the table could be opened and a camping lamp hung, feeling cozy and safer than sleeping in a tent.

After completing the modification, Ma Jing was in a better mood.

She drove around nearby for a while, found a place on the outskirts of the county and camped for a nap; it was an excellent experience.

She returned to thank Li Younan, and Li Younan smiled: ”No thanks needed; it’s just business.”

Yet, it seemed their connection had ended here.

It was already late September, just two days before Ma Jing and her team were set to depart.

Ma Jing needed to go back to meet up with the team members, so she wasn’t planning to stay longer.

She jumped into the car, ready to leave when her phone rang.

Not rushing to start the car, she answered the call.

Her expression changed and she frowned, saying: ”What? ’Freedom of the Clouds’... can’t go anymore?”

”What? Not having six cars means a delay?”

”How can this be? Wasn’t it agreed upon before? Me? Where am I supposed to find someone willing to go through this adventure now...”

As she spoke, she suddenly blinked and gazed directly at Li Younan.
