The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 143: Chapter 143: Tough Talk? The Slap won’t Kill You!_1

”Shut up.”

Tucker Tyler struck Danny Browning with a stick, ready to risk it all.

One strike was the same as two; there was no difference now, so why not give a few more hits to let off some steam?

After tonight, he’d have to run away!

He couldn’t stay in Polgel anymore.

Though the Browning Family was powerful, they were just local snakes in Polgel. As long as he left Polgel and disappeared under a new name, they couldn’t touch him.

Seeing this, Danny Browning’s men quickly charged forward and clashed with the men of Black Bamboo, and a chaotic fight erupted inside the KTV.

Jax Gross and the others were stunned.

Did Carson Flores’s words really make them fight each other?

”Bro Flores, what do we do now?”

Carson Flores smiled and said, ”Just watch. This has nothing to do with you guys, don’t get involved.”

No matter who Danny Browning was related to, Carson Flores was not afraid, but he didn’t want to drag Jax Gross and the others into it, since they were just ordinary people.

Danny Browning’s men were few and were quickly beaten down by Black Bamboo’s men, then surrounded Tucker Tyler’s men once again to pummel him.

”Crack!”

Danny Browning screamed as his left leg was brutally broken.

Tucker Tyler didn’t dare discount any word Carson Flores said.

For all his gentle speech, and without the arrogance of Danny Browning, he was truly ruthless when it came to killing!

In just a few days, from Black Bamboo to Supreme Sky Corporation, how many had died at Carson Flores’s hands?

Tossing aside the stick, Tucker Tyler approached Carson Flores respectfully and asked, ”I’ve broken one of his hands and legs, Mr. Flores. Is that enough?”

Before Carson Flores could answer, Danny Browning, lying on the ground, cursed bitterly, ”My father is Danny Browning, the Family Head of the Browning Family. If you dare, kill me now; otherwise, I will make sure you die. I swear, I’ll kill all of you!”

Danny Browning?

Carson Flores raised an eyebrow, ready to inquire about the reputation of the Browning Family, when Raelynn Howell suddenly approached, picked up a steel rod from the ground, and without a word, smashed it onto Danny Browning’s right shin, breaking it as well.

”Ah!”

Danny Browning’s face was covered with snot and tears; he couldn’t believe that even after revealing his identity, this woman still dared to strike him so mercilessly!

Dropping the rod, Raelynn Howell squatted down and slapped Danny Browning across the face.

”Don’t think that just because you’re a member of the Browning Family, no one dares to touch you. My name is Raelynn Howell. Julia Howell is my father. I am the one who beat you up today. If you have any issues, come at me. If you dare to lay a finger on my friend, next time I’ll make sure you’re castrated!”

Danny Browning stopped howling and stared at Raelynn Howell with venomous eyes: ”Julia Howell is your father?”

Raelynn Howell simply confirmed with a hum, ”Yes, that’s right. If you’re not convinced, you can come find me!”

Danny Browning sneered, ”Fine, very fine! Let me tell you, little girl, you’ve brought trouble to the Howell Family!”

Raelynn Howell raised her hand and slapped away the sneer from Danny Browning’s face, ”You’re already a mess, still spewing threats. These slaps won’t kill you!”

Danny Browning gritted his teeth with furious eyes but didn’t dare to make another sound.

Damn it, this woman’s a tough one!

A smart man doesn’t suffer in front of his enemies. He’d settle the score with her, no, with the entire Howell Family later, and see if she could still smile then!

Carson Flores looked surprised too; by her tone, did Raelynn Howell belong to a notable family?

Turning to Rebecca Ward, Carson Flores saw that she was just as shocked and worried, apparently not very familiar with the background of her classmate.

”Let’s go!”

Danny Browning, with a dark face, was lifted and carried away by his followers.

Tucker Tyler respectfully said, ”The Browning Family is an old and prestigious Cultivator Family in Polgel, please be careful, Mr. Flores.”

Carson Flores suddenly understood; they were a Cultivator Family, no wonder they were so arrogant, constantly threatening to kill somebody.

”Since he’s from a Cultivator Family and also the son of the Family Head, you still dared to strike him?”

Tucker Tyler candidly replied, ”The Browning Family is strong, but Danny Browning is just an ordinary person. Everything about him comes from his family. Mr. Flores relies on his own abilities. Offending Mr. Flores means death, and offending Danny Browning leads to the same. Faced with this choice, I’d rather offend Danny Browning. And as Mr. Flores heard, he looked at me as if I was a dog, ordering me around. If I’m going to die anyway, I might as well give him a beating to vent my anger.”

Carson Flores laughed, ”You’re quite a character. So what now, waiting for death?”

Tucker Tyler replied, ”Danny Browning is vindictive and never lets things go. He might not be able to do anything to Mr. Flores, but killing me would be easy for him. Once I leave this place, I’m prepared to flee.”

Carson Flores asked, ”Are you sure you’re ready to leave it all behind?”

Tucker Tyler replied with a bitter smile, ”Black Bamboo Corporation is really just a shell of a company. We’ve been relying on President Zhao’s connections to get business and support our people. Now that President Zhao is dead, Black Bamboo only exists in name. Even if we persisted, we wouldn’t last long. Moreover, having offended the Browning Family, staying would mean a dead end. It’s better to go out and make my own way.”

Carson Flores gave a nod without passing judgment, ”Alright, then off you go, I won’t keep you from running away.”

Tucker Tyler was aware of the times and a shrewd operator, someone who knew when to stick his neck out and when to shrink back, but he wasn’t really a good person. Carson Flores didn’t make things hard for him but neither did he offer any special protection.

”Take care, Mr. Flores.”

Tucker Tyler bowed respectfully and then left with his men.

Carson Flores’s gaze fell on Raelynn Howell, and he smiled, ”Raelynn, you’ve really kept a low profile...”
