The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 112: Chapter 112 Just Needs a Beating_1

”Crack!”

Malcolm Gross’s left arm snapped cleanly, emitting a crisp sound.

Malcolm Gross clenched his teeth tightly, his face as red as blood, his forehead covered in cold sweat, but he did not even hum a sound.

Thinking back to that stormy night when Andrew came alone to the Rainfield Sect and nearly wiped it out, Aziel Gross’s entire heart trembled in fear.

What in the world had he done to offend Andrew’s disciple?

An arm broken can be reattached, but a lost life is truly the end of everything.

Just losing one arm and saving one’s own life, it’s worth it!

”Mr. Flores, are you satisfied now?”

Carson Flores nodded indifferently, ”Okay... go ahead.”

Malcolm Gross heaved a huge sigh of relief, turned around, and dragging his broken arm, he walked towards the James family father and son.

Carson Flores didn’t record with his phone because he knew very well that Malcolm Gross wouldn’t dare to cheat him, because life is precious, and killing him would be as easy as flipping his hand.

Killing someone like Brian James who has social influence could be troublesome, but killing someone like Malcolm Gross, a cultivator hidden from the world, would bring no trouble at all.

Didn’t his master almost completely destroy the Rainfield Sect without any consequences?

If Malcolm Gross dared to deceive him, he would dare to revisit the Rainfield Sect like his master did and let them experience terror once again.

The curses from the James family father and son abruptly ceased.

Malcolm Gross, in order to save his life, showed no mercy at all.

Turning his head, Malcolm Gross said respectfully, ”Mr. Flores, if there’s nothing else you need me to do, you can leave now. I will take care of the bodies and handle the aftermath, ensuring that Mr. Flores won’t be disturbed in the slightest.”

Carson Flores nodded slightly, ”Remember your words, otherwise, I’ll pay a visit to the Rainfield Sect.”

Malcolm Gross shivered, and promptly bowed, ”Mr. Flores, I’ll do as I said, you can be assured.”

Carson Flores turned to leave, and only then did Malcolm Gross dare to straighten up and let out a long breath.

Looking at the bodies of the James family father and son, Malcolm Gross cursed inwardly, ’You two really deserved to die. Who else could you have provoked but the killing star, Andrew’s disciple? You almost got me killed, it serves you right to die!’

Andrew was so ruthless; how could his disciple be easy to provoke?

Malcolm Gross took out his phone and dialed the Sect Master’s number.

He had to report this immediately and also needed the Sect Master’s support to smooth over any subsequent impact, pushing the provincial bigwigs to fall in line.

...

When Carson Flores got home, Shirley Miller was sitting on the bed watching TV.

She was waiting for him.

Although she didn’t know what Carson Flores had been out for, he had said that tonight he would verify some suspicions, and after tonight, he would know how to resolve the current predicament.

”Back already?”

Shirley Miller stood up, her eyes filled with a hint of anticipation.

Carson Flores smiled, ”Waiting for me?”

Shirley Miller nodded shyly, ”I couldn’t sleep with all these thoughts on my mind.”

Carson Flores didn’t beat around the bush and asked directly, ”Does the Miller Family have enough money to buy shares from other shareholders?”

Shirley Miller paused, ”No.”

Carson Flores frowned, this was a good opportunity for the Miller Family, but if they didn’t have enough money, there was nothing they could do. Those people would sell their shares at a very low price but would certainly demand cash.

Seeing Carson Flores frown, Shirley Miller’s heart felt unsettled and she nervously asked, ”Why do you ask, what happened?”

Carson Flores didn’t keep her in the dark, ”Behind Hugo Combs is Brian James from the Supreme Sky Corporation. He instigated Hugo Combs to make life difficult for the Miller Group, while also having Martin Baker create panic among the shareholders, inducing them to sell their shares at a low price. The purchasing party is Supreme Sky Corporation. Even if they can’t buy your shares, if they get the others’, Martin Baker would control the board, and he could simply kick you out of River Miller.”

Shirley Miller clenched her fists, ”Him again!”

Carson Flores said with a touch of regret, ”If you had enough funds, you could take advantage of this opportunity to buy other people’s shares at a low price, but without the funds, it won’t work.”

Shirley Miller gave a bitter smile, ”Their shares combined are too many, even at a low price, purchasing would still require billions; the Miller family can’t afford that.”

Carson Flores wasn’t surprised, after all, the value of shares is one thing, cash is another.

He comforted her with a smile, ”Leave it to me, just act as if you know nothing. Tomorrow, I’ll ask around and see what can be done.”

At this moment, Shirley Miller was helpless and had to leave it to Carson Flores, ”Thank you for your trouble.”

Carson Flores shook his head, ”I don’t know if it will work, but even in the worst-case scenario, things will stay the same. The company won’t shut down; rest assured.”

Shirley Miller’s feelings were mixed, grateful yet a bit forlorn, ”I am so incompetent. The company is in trouble, yet I can’t do anything.”

Carson Flores smiled, ”Don’t belittle yourself. Your strengths lie in running and developing the company, not cunning and schemes. Besides, you and your opponent are on completely different levels of power. It’s normal for you to feel powerless.”

Shirley Miller looked at Carson Flores, ”But why are you so capable? In no time, you’ve figured out so many things I don’t understand and even found a way to solve them.”

Carson Flores smiled slightly, ”Because I’m exceptionally good at fighting. After all, those who engage in schemes are still people. If you take them out and give them a good beating, you often solve the problem.”
