The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 132: Chapter 132: How Many People Will the Woolery Family Lose Tonight?_1

Devin Woolery had barely taken a step before Carson Flores caught up to him from behind, landing a punch on the back of his neck.

”Crack!”

The crisp sound of a broken bone came from Devin Woolery’s neck, his head immediately drooping down, his body staggered forward two steps before he collapsed to the ground.

Devin Woolery was dead.

The dozens of members of the Woolery Family, upon seeing the corpse of Devin Woolery on the ground, had their eyes wide with shock and terror.

Among the second generation of the Woolery Family, besides Rhys Woolery, Devin was the strongest cultivator; yet, he had been killed by Carson Flores with a single punch.

A chill rose from the depths of their hearts as everyone looked at Carson Flores, their eyes no longer filled with the previous contempt and ridicule, only endless fear.

How many more would die from the Woolery Family tonight?

Rhys Woolery’s eyes suddenly reddened.

His brother had been killed by a ruthless punch from Carson Flores!

He stood up, clenched his fists, and walked towards Carson Flores, his face ashen with rage, ”Let me see your great skills for myself!”

Carson Flores nodded coldly, ”As the head of the Woolery Family, you are well aware of what you’ve been doing over the years. There’s no need for me to recount them, is there?”

Rhys Woolery said coldly, ”There’s nothing to say. Today, either I go down or you do. There’s no third outcome!”

”Straight to it!”

Carson Flores responded, ”You’ve finally shown some poise as the family head.”

Rhys Woolery charged forward, and as the two men drew close, Rhys’s right hand suddenly flung out, revealing a pitch-black dagger which struck like a venomous snake shooting out of the grass, aiming for Carson Flores’s neck.

Carson Flores hadn’t expected this man to stoop so low and secretly use a weapon. Caught off guard, he leaned back, avoiding a fatal hit to the throat.

The dagger grazed Carson Flores’s shoulder, leaving a wound five to six centimeters long, with blood instantly gushing out, staining his clothes red.

Rhys Woolery’s dagger was like a flurry, carrying ferocious force and astonishing speed, stabbing toward Carson Flores’s ribs again.

Carson Flores dodged while Rhys Woolery kept on attacking relentlessly, each move lethal.

Their figures moved so quickly they dazzled the onlookers, and suddenly, with a dull sound, the two broke apart.

Rhys Woolery stumbled several steps backwards, blood suddenly spilling from his mouth.

Rhys Woolery stared intently at Carson Flores, ”Who exactly are you?”

Carson Flores said indifferently, ”Carson Flores of White Dragon Mountain.”

Rhys Woolery clutched his chest, gasping for air, ”I have never heard of White Dragon Mountain. Who is your master?”

Carson Flores answered calmly, ”Andrew.”

Rhys Woolery’s eyes suddenly widened in fear and regret, ”Andrew! Your master is Andrew?”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Yes.”

Rhys Woolery said with a bitter smile, ”Leonidas, from now on, you will take control of the Woolery Family. You are the family head. Call Ronin back, cripple his legs, confine him to the estate, and he’s not to leave. Carson Flores followed the rules and came to pay respects to our family. Issues of life and death in a duel are one’s own responsibility. No member of the Woolery Family is to seek revenge. Those who disobey will be expelled from the Woolery Family!”

After giving orders to his family, Rhys Woolery turned to Carson Flores, ”Are you satisfied?”

Carson Flores nodded, ”Who ordered the hit on Shirley Miller?”

Rhys Woolery was bleeding more profusely, ”Seashore, the third young master of the Miller Family, Oscar Miller.”

Miller?

Carson Flores frowned, ”What’s his relation to Shirley Miller?”

”First cousins. That’s all I know.”

Shirley Miller was from a major family?

Why struggle alone in Polgel?

Oscar Miller, her cousin, was trying to harm his own relative. It seemed there was much more to the story...

Blood poured from Rhys Woolery’s mouth, and he fell to the ground, his eyes gradually losing their luster.

Leonidas Woolery, Rhys Woolery’s younger brother, stepped forward, his gaze stern as he looked at Carson Flores, ”I’ll call Ronin back immediately. With this, can the matter be considered resolved?”

Carson Flores said indifferently, ”Yes.”

Leonidas Woolery breathed a sigh of relief and turned to give an order, ”Call Ronin back, now!”

Someone started to phone Ronin, and at that moment, an elderly man with white hair, who had been silent, slowly stepped out of the crowd.

Leonidas Woolery immediately became nervous, ”Dad...”

The elderly man with white hair waved his hand, stopping Leonidas Woolery from speaking further, and walked straight up to Carson Flores with a fist and palm salute, ”From the Woolery Family, Lonnie Woolery.”

Carson Flores nodded, his expression turning solemn as he returned the salute, ”Elder Mr. Woolery!”

Lonnie Woolery said with a grave voice, ”Thirty years ago, after I handed the Woolery Family over to Denver, I stopped interfering with family affairs. Little did I expect they would commit so many atrocities. You killing them is painful for me, yet I have no objections. However, since today you came to pay your respects according to the rules, even though you are Andrew’s disciple, I too must step forward in accordance to the rules.”

Carson Flores replied succinctly, ”Alright.”

Lonnie Woolery turned back and said, ”Leonidas, I’m fighting according to the rules of entry to the family, not for revenge. We’ll only compare skills, not fight to the death. Regardless of the outcome, you must carry out Denver’s last instructions!”

Leonidas Woolery responded, ”I understand, dad!”

Lonnie Woolery turned back, fixing his gaze on Carson Flores, ”Please!”

Carson Flores’s demeanor was serene, ”Please!”

Both men moved at the same time, each launching an attack on the other.

”Boom!”

In the muffled impact, Carson Flores and Lonnie Woolery’s fists struck each other simultaneously.
