The Female CEO's Personal Bodyguard

Chapter 113: Chapter 113 This is Clearly Giving Away Money_1

Carson Flores sat in the chair, puffing on cigarettes with several members of the sales team eight.

”I heard that the company got screwed over, they’re going to suspend production for two months, and now the higher-ups are all panicking...”

Leaning back lazily in the chair, Carson’s gaze fell on Stone Compton, who was speaking, and he chuckled, ”Your wife works in the finance department and always has a broad range of information. Got any juicy gossip to share?”

Stone Compton gave a wry smile, ”It’s obvious the company was targeted, and they can’t survive a two-month production halt, they’ll collapse outright. I’ve heard lots of shareholders are preparing to sell their shares.”

Carson’s interest was piqued, ”Have they sold them already?”

Stone shook his head, lowering his voice, ”I heard it’s Martin Baker, the vice president, who’s arranging this. He’s found a buyer, has almost finished negotiating with that group of shareholders, and they say they’re getting the paperwork ready to sign the contract tomorrow morning.”

Tomorrow morning?

That’s some good timing!

Hugo Combs gave Shirley Miller a deadline of tonight; if she didn’t submit and spend the night with him, he would issue a suspension and rectification notice to the companies tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, Martin Baker was perfectly coordinated, making a move to snap up other people’s shares before the suspension notice could be issued.

Carson figured that the notice was bound to be served regardless because after Martin Baker’s power grab, he still aimed for the Miller Family’s 25% share. Only by acquiring the Miller shares and achieving his goal would he lift the suspension.

”Where will the contract be signed?”

Stone was well informed, ”Right at the company, the buyer’s representative will come over to sign the contract.”

Carson’s eyes lit up, with the signing taking place at the company, there was room to maneuver.

After chatting idly with everyone for a while, Carson returned to his office, took out his phone, and dialed Blake Simmons’ number.

”Mr. Flores.”

Carson said with a chuckle, ”Mr. Simmons, I’ve got a money-making deal, are you interested?”

Blake Simmons replied with a laugh, ”Tell me, Mr. Flores.”

Carson didn’t hold back, explaining the current situation of the Miller Group, ”The Miller Group is growing rapidly; buying into the group at a low price is a surefire profitable deal. If the Simmons Group has ample funds, you should consider it. After all, the Simmons Group is also in the healthcare business, taking a share in the Miller Group could benefit your company’s development.”

After the pitch, Carson said with a laugh, ”I can guarantee this business will turn a profit. But first, it depends on the Simmons Group’s strategies and financial situation. Second, I have a condition: the shares you buy must support any of Shirley Miller’s decisions within the company. She’s a capable leader, but she holds too few shares and often faces internal wrangling...”

After listening, Blake Simmons chuckled, ”Mr. Flores, it sounds like you’re offering the Simmons Family free money. Of course, I have no objections, but since you’re going out of your way to help the Miller Family, why not let them buy the shares directly to gain control?”

Carson replied with amusement, ”The Miller Family can’t come up with that much capital; otherwise, I wouldn’t have troubled you.”

Blake Simmons suddenly understood and laughed, ”Alright, I’ll get things organized. We’ll follow Mr. Flores’s arrangements. Don’t worry, after acquiring the shares, Simmons Group will unconditionally support any decision by Shirley Miller. If Supreme acts against River Miller, the Simmons Family won’t stand idly by.”

Blake Simmons was shrewd. He believed that if Carson contacted him to pick up such a great deal, it was because, on one hand, the Miller Family was short on funds, and on the other hand, it was to find support and backup for the Millers, so he eagerly and actively took a stance.

Carson chuckled, ”The trouble with Supreme has been taken care of.”

Blake Simmons was slightly taken aback, ”It has already been taken care of?”

Blake had just been thinking about how to deal with Brian James after buying the shares, but Carson suddenly announced the issue was resolved?

Carson replied crisply, ”Brian James and his son are already dead.”

Blake’s eyes widened in shock, ”So Mr. Flores has made his move already? This matter might have some consequences... Is there any way the Simmons Family can help?”

Carson said with a smile, ”I made my move, but it wasn’t me who killed them, it was people from the Cultivator Sect. They have committed to resolve all the subsequent issues.”

The Cultivator Sect?

Blake’s heart grew even more startled; wasn’t that a Cultivator Sect?

What exactly was Carson’s background?

He took action against Brian James and his son, people from the Cultivator Sect did the deed, and they even helped solve all the follow-up issues?

The first possibility was that Carson had connections with the Cultivator Sect, who helped him with his troubles. The second was that the Cultivator Sect had offended Carson but found they couldn’t provoke him, thus atoning for their offense with action.

Blake internally marveled, feeling like he’d stumbled upon incredible luck. Just when he was on the brink of death, he encountered a high-level individual like Carson, changing his and the Simmons Family’s fate!

”Mr. Flores, I won’t say much more. I’m all ears—you tell me what to do, and I’ll do it.”

Carson inquired, ”Are you sure there’s no issue? If there is, I can find someone else, Mr. Simmons, you don’t have to force it.”

Blake Simmons chuckled, ”No issue at all. Acquiring the Miller Group shares at a low price, that’s clearly free money, a surefire profit situation. Even if it means taking out loans to gather the funds, the Simmons Group must take it all.”

Carson said with a laugh, ”Alright, then here’s what we’ll do...”
