Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 192: Chapter 190: Reversal! The Great Avalanche

”Damn it!”

Seeing this situation, Gu Xi finally understood what it meant for troubles to come one after another, cutting off his last retreat.

The clown pointed at the Death Incarnation again.

The black fog surrounding the Death Incarnation suddenly turned into pink bubbles.

[Death Incarnation affected by an irresistible external force, Crystal Storm and black fog temporarily sealed! Sealed for 5 days!]

This was the second time.

If Gu Xi still didn’t understand the clown’s power by now, then he really was an idiot.

”Boom!”

Gu Xi decisively pointed towards the Death Incarnation, causing it to explode on the spot.

Although two of its skills were sealed, the Death Incarnation’s innate abilities remained, and its life force was still strong.

This self-destruction sent shockwaves that smashed its iron-like bones towards the clown.

Although the clown turned all the bones flying towards him into balloons, his controllable range was still somewhat limited.

Many of the balloons were blown away in the explosion, and the remaining balloons couldn’t keep the clown afloat, causing him to fall downwards.

This made the clown quite displeased. He pointed in Gu Xi’s direction and shouted loudly, ”Kill him, I want to peel off his skin and make it into a balloon.”

In the clown’s frenzied screams, all of the Other Ghosts began charging forward.

And at the forefront of the Other Ghosts’ ranks, the Otherworldly Knights also launched their charge.

One of the groups of Otherworldly Knights could transform into a white mist, making it impossible to see their position.

Behind this group was a band of pure iron Otherworldly Knights, whose weapons were much larger than others’.

The last group rode skeletal horses with flames on them. Their armor wasn’t the strongest, but their speed was the fastest.

At first, they lagged behind, but after charging a short distance, they had already passed through the mist formed by the first group of Otherworldly Knights.

”Raise the long spears, Combat Squad 2 prepare to engage, Skeleton Shooters and Skeleton Mages advance, cover fire! Stone Golems, how many Corpse Poison Flies left, call them all...”

Gu Xi was quickly organizing his troops when he suddenly noticed that the charging speed of the Otherworldly Knights slowed down, as if they had seen something unbelievable.

At the same time, Gu Xi felt a surge of cold qi from behind, colder than the wind blowing as he raced over the ice plain on the Evil Coffin.

Gu Xi turned his head slightly and was shocked to see a gigantic ice mountain appear above the Undead Calamity Array.

The cold qi emanated from this ice mountain.

As the ice mountain rose, it grew larger and larger. When Gu Xi turned his head, it was still at the core of the Undead Calamity Array. But in the blink of an eye, it had already engulfed the entire Undead Calamity Array.

Having learned about setting up the Undead Calamity Array, Gu Xi immediately understood what he was facing.

”Retreat to the array!”

Gu Xi shouted while leaping onto the Evil Coffin. Before he could sit properly, the Evil Coffin started to race back. As for Gu Xi’s subordinates, they all found ways to rush towards the Undead Calamity Array, completely ignoring the Otherworldly Corps around them.

The current upheaval was one of the ultimate moves of the Undead Calamity Array.

Avalanche.

It’s one of the strongest skills of the Undead Calamity Array, turning all enemies inside the array into ice sculptures, and the cold qi spreads five hundred miles beyond the array.

Within the spread of the cold qi, everything will be frozen.

Including players and Undead Mages.

As part of the Undead Calamity Array, if you’re inside, there’s a chance of survival during the avalanche.

But if you’re outside, sorry, you must escape beyond five hundred miles immediately, or even an immortal won’t survive.

Understanding this, Gu Xi was determined to flee towards the Undead Calamity Array without hesitation.

He didn’t want to be buried by the avalanche after fighting for so long at the final moment.

As for his undead subordinates, they would just need to escape as best they could; if they couldn’t make it out, there was nothing he could do.

While Gu Xi was escaping, the clown at the rear of the Otherworldly Corps also noticed the ice mountain in the sky. He twisted his face and pointed at the center of the mountain.

Then he let out a heavy snort.

The balloons keeping him afloat quickly knotted into a red and white arch. Brushing his hair back, the clown turned and stepped through the arch.

Once the clown left, only then did the nearby Other Ghosts react. They glanced at each other and then scattered to escape.

Some of the Other Ghosts headed straight for the Undead Calamity Array, while others fled back the way they came.

Regardless of their choice, they had no intention of fighting Gu Xi’s undead forces again.

They didn’t even glance at the undead.

They were solely focused on escaping.

However, everyone’s reactions were a step too slow. Taking advantage of the Evil Coffin’s speed, Gu Xi charged into the Undead Calamity Array at the last moment.

His subordinates weren’t so lucky. Besides most of the Ghosts, Skeleton Mages, Stone Golems, and Corpse Poison Flies escaping to safe spots,

only a portion of the Skeleton Soldiers followed in, while the rest of the Skeleton Soldiers and slower Zombies were left outside the Undead Calamity Array.

Just a few seconds after Gu Xi entered the Undead Calamity Array, the massive ice mountain in the sky began to shatter from the bottom.

Tons of snow poured into the Undead Calamity Array, and the cold qi spread outward from the array’s center.

Anyone outside the Undead Calamity Array, whether undead or Other Ghost, was rapidly turned into an ice sculpture.

Even within the array, Gu Xi didn’t have it easy; he had to huddle under the platform holding the Token, wrapped in a blanket, to resist the cold wind outside.

As for the returning undead forces, Gu Xi had no time to manage them now.

Hiding under the city gate, Gu Xi watched as large clumps of snow continued to fall, quickly sealing off both ends of the city gate.

If the Token weren’t still emitting white light, Gu Xi would have thought he had zoned out during class and misunderstood the information.

The avalanche continued for nearly fifteen minutes.

Only when the Token slowly dimmed did Gu Xi realize that the battle was finally over.

However, Gu Xi discovered one problem: he was buried under the snow, so what should he do next?

At that moment, the voice of the Mage Leader emerged from the slowly dimming Token.

Though his voice sounded a bit weary, his tone was very excited.

”Comrades, we have won, we have defended the world’s passage. Although we lost many comrades in this battle, victory is ours.

It belongs to our Chaoyang Radiance Guild!

Now, all comrades, please extend your hand and grasp the Token before you. As heroes, we are going home!”
