Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 157: Chapter 155: Architectural Design Plan Ten-Draw

Seeing Gu Xi indicate agreement, Liu Zishi then pushed open the door to Warehouse Nine.

As the door opened, the three metal statues in the warehouse simultaneously turned their heads.

These three metal statues had hollow eyes, no mouth or nose, and in the already eerie environment, they looked quite terrifying.

”Kern, we’re here to take ten random medium and small-sized building design plans.”

Familiar with the situation in Warehouse Nine, Liu Zishi promptly stated his request as soon as he saw the three metal statues turning their heads.

At the same time, Liu Zishi also showed the token given to him by the Mage Leader to the statue.

Sure enough, under the effect of the token, two of the metal statues went into the warehouse, leaving the one named Kern standing in front of Gu Xi.

”Kern is the administrator of Warehouse Nine. I heard someone say that when Warehouse Nine was initially built, someone altered the warehouse’s design plan, which is why Kern turned out like this.”

”Even the architectural design plan of a Core Building can be altered?”

Gu Xi was a bit puzzled. The warehouse is part of the city’s core building, inherently provided by the city without needing a design plan, so how could alterations be possible?

Regarding this issue, Liu Zishi couldn’t provide a precise answer either. He pondered for a moment before finally saying, ”I don’t know about that, but I seem to have heard somewhere that as long as a city has built one core building.

You can construct additional similar buildings in other locations in the city.

At this point, the architectural design plan should be customizable.”

Upon hearing Liu Zishi’s words, Gu Xi frowned; this didn’t seem very believable.

However, the situation with the Scattered Immortal Garden was right in front of them, not to mention that this warehouse obviously didn’t belong to the core building.

Moreover, if there’s a Warehouse Nine, there must be eight similar warehouses before it, right?

While Gu Xi was pondering over this matter, the two statues that went in to fetch the goods emerged, each holding five palm-sized boxes.

From the outside, each box looked exactly the same.

”Medium and small design plans are like this; there are ten in total here. Open them yourself and see what luck you have.”

As Liu Zishi spoke, the two statues also stood before Gu Xi.

In his heart, Gu Xi was actually grumbling, because no one could see the situation inside the warehouse. You let me do ten openings in a row, but you should at least let me know what prizes I might get from the boxes.

Playing this way is really not interesting.

Partly grumbling, Gu Xi opened the topmost box.

[You obtained Endless Ore Heap Design Plan (Medium) *1]

[Endless Ore Heap Design Plan (Medium): Use 500 resources, 10 units of stone, 10 units of metal to build an Endless Ore Heap (Medium-sized building) in the city, which allows daily mining of 3 units of stone or 2 units of metal ore (upgradable).]

Seeing the information that popped up before his eyes, Gu Xi’s eyes brightened.

It seems these design plans are quite decent.

If they are all similar to this, then it’s not a loss this time.

With this thought, the little displeasure in Gu Xi’s heart dissipated.

He quickly opened the remaining boxes one by one, obtaining five medium and four small building design plans.

[Blood-Dripping Alchemy Laboratory Design Plan (Medium): Use 500 resources, 5 units of stone, 5 units of metal, 5 units of wood, 5 units of herbs to build a Blood-Dripping Alchemy Laboratory (Medium-sized building) in the city, where magic potions can be created (upgradable).]

[Underground Alchemy Laboratory Design Plan (Medium): Use 500 resources, 10 units of stone, 5 units of wood, 5 units of metal to build an Underground Alchemy Laboratory (Medium-sized building) in the city, where magic transformations and other alchemy experiments can be conducted (upgradable).]

[Burial Tree Pit Design Plan (Medium): Use 500 resources, 10 units of stone, 10 units of wood to build a Burial Tree Pit (Medium-sized building) in the city, which can produce a large number of corpses daily, and can be linked with large buildings like the Graveyard (upgradable).]

[Witch’s House Design Plan (Medium): Use 500 resources, 10 units of wood, 10 units of herbs to build a Witch’s House (Medium-sized building) in the city, where three different quality and effect potions or items can be purchased daily (upgradable).]

[Lonely Pedestrian Plaza Design Plan (Medium): Use 500 resources, 10 units of stone, 10 units of wood to build a Lonely Pedestrian Plaza (Medium-sized building) in the city, where 5 to 8 units of gray waste can be picked up daily on the plaza (upgradable).]

Regarding these five newly obtained medium design plans, Gu Xi didn’t know what to say.

These intermediate design plans actually didn’t fit Gu Xi’s needs.

Aside from the two Alchemy Laboratories, which Gu Xi currently needed, the other three each took different paths.

Though these medium-sized buildings looked good, they weren’t something Gu Xi urgently needed.

It seems that if Gu Xi wishes to collect the architectural design plans he lacks in a short time, he will need to focus on the twenty rewards afterward.

Compared to medium design plans, the small building design plans didn’t attract much of Gu Xi’s attention, as the design plans he urgently needed didn’t include any small design plans.

This time, the four small building design plans did not contain anything that displeased Gu Xi, nor was there anything surprising.

[Erosion Moat Design Plan (Small): Use 200 resources, 5 units of stone, 5 units of herbs to build an Erosion Moat (Small-sized building) in the city, dealing 3 points of damage per second to all enemies stepping into the moat (upgradable).]

[Garrison Gate Design Plan (Small): Use 200 resources, 5 units of stone, 5 units of metal to build a Garrison Gate (Small-sized building) in the city, where soldiers stationed can receive an attack +2 battle effect (upgradable).]

[Eagle Eye Arrow Tower Design Plan (Small): Use 200 resources, 5 units of stone, 5 units of wood to build an Eagle Eye Arrow Tower (Small-sized building) in the city, increasing the range of all shooters assigned to the tower by 50% (upgradable).]

[Morale Drum Tower Design Plan (Small): Use 200 resources, 5 units of stone, 5 units of wood to build a Morale Drum Tower (Small-sized building) in the city, boosting the morale of the defending troops by 1 point (upgradable).]

It can be said that among these four small building design plans, only the Morale Drum Tower is useless, since morale is something the Undead do not use.

The other three small buildings can immediately be used by Gu Xi on the battlefield.

So, after glancing at Liu Zishi, Gu Xi closed his eyes, and behind him appeared his city gate.
