Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 183: Chapter 181: The Invaded Amusement Park (49/149)

”Death Incarnation.”

As the Clown Pirates were about to jump off the Pirate Ship, Gu Xi immediately gave the order.

However, he quickly dismissed his own idea, ”No, Skeleton Shooters, Skeleton Mages, when those guys jump down, launch a saturation attack.”

Under Gu Xi’s command, the Skeleton Shooter Boss raised his bow, demonstrating for all the Skeleton Shooters to follow.

At the same time, under Gu Xi’s command, the Skeleton Mages also raised their hands towards the sky.

At this moment, the Pirate Ship reached its highest point at the rear, and the Clown Captain at the bow locked his Iron Hook at the figurehead, pointing and shouting loudly at Gu Xi’s defended position.

As the Pirate Ship’s power reached its peak, it paused momentarily at the highest point before rushing towards Gu Xi’s position with a whoosh.

This time, the Pirate Ship clearly tilted downward. With the angle and arc of this Pirate Ship’s impact, it’s believed that its hull would scrape against Gu Xi City’s gatehouse battle banner.

As it descended, over a thousand Clown Pirates were already prepared to jump down.

As the Pirate Ship entered the area Gu Xi was defending, they decisively jumped down.

At the moment they leaped, the Skeleton Shooter Boss released an arrow, followed by all the Skeleton Shooters each locking onto a Clown Pirate to shoot an arrow at them.

Following the Rain of Arrows was the attack from the Skeleton Mages.

Here, 500 Skeleton Mages simultaneously cast their spells.

The Skeleton Mages sent over by the Mage Leader were all the most basic ones; none of them could use range magic, like the Poison Cloud Technique.

They could only utilize Fireball Skill, Ice Arrow Skill, Lightning Arrow, and Poison Gas Bomb.

Gu Xi didn’t care what spells they could use; in such a situation, Gu Xi simply instructed them to aim at the sky.

The Clown Pirates jumping down were the best targets for attack.

When these Clown Pirates jumped down, although they shielded their bodies with Pirate Sabers, without the ability to fly, they had no way to change their direction in mid-air.

All they could do was jump at the lowest point the Pirate Ship reached, rushing into the area of Gu Xi’s suppression as quickly as possible.

As for what might happen during their descent, they couldn’t afford to worry about it.

After all, they were jumping from a height of just over 50 meters, taking only a few seconds.

However, many Clown Pirates couldn’t even survive those few seconds.

When jumping off the Pirate Ship, the arrows from the Skeleton Shooters and the various spells from the Skeleton Mages—though not precise—covered the position where the Pirates landed.

At least over 600 Clown Pirates were killed on the spot.

The remaining Clown Pirates that hit the ground were quickly surrounded by Gu Xi’s undead forces.

Due to their weapons and training reasons, these undead did not seem to have the same high level of coordination as the previous batch did.

They could only cooperate in small scopes, especially those newly transformed from corpses, who didn’t even have weapons and leapt directly onto the Clown Pirates, ready to attack with bare bones or teeth.

At this time, Gu Xi, stepping on the Evil Coffin, had already reached the top of the city gate tower.

Gu Xi fixed his gaze on the Pirate Ship charging directly at him, targeting the Pirate Boss at the bow. He understood that the Clown Pirates jumping from the ship were merely a distraction; the real core target was this Pirate Boss.

There was only one chance to defeat him.

”Bone Spike!”

As the Pirate Ship closed to about fifty meters, Gu Xi made his move.

A Bone Spike was launched directly at the Pirate Boss on the ship.

The Pirate Boss hooked the ship’s bow with the iron hook in his left hand and drew his Curved Saber with his right hand, slashing at the Bone Spike.

Under the Pirate Boss’s attack, the Bone Spike shattered into pieces instantly.

Just as the Pirate Boss opened his mouth to sneer at Gu Xi, he suddenly noticed that his right hand had been frozen.

The power of Ice flowed from his hand into his body.

At the same time, Gu Xi launched several more Bone Spikes.

Faced with such an attack, the Pirate Boss had no choice but to make another decision.

Before the Pirate Ship collided with Gu Xi’s city gate, it ascended, brushing the bottom against Gu Xi’s battle banner.

The few Bone Spikes Gu Xi fired all hit the bottom of the Pirate Ship, none able to reach the Pirate Boss.

The Pirate Boss was quite pleased with this outcome, turning to look at the Clown Pirates re-emerging on the ship. He believed that a few more attempts like this would surely lead to its capture.

At that time, he could gain further rewards from his master.

However, the Pirate Boss kept feeling as if a powerful entity was staring at him from behind.

Could that pesky Metal Bone Dragon be taking the opportunity to charge up here?

Wasn’t someone handling that Bone Dragon specifically?

How could it still manage to leap up and disrupt his plans?

The Pirate Boss quickly turned his head, but instead of seeing the Death Incarnation, he saw a green Pea Vine resembling a cannon.

Taking advantage of launching the Bone Spikes, Gu Xi had thrown a Pea Shooter onto the ship.

Gu Xi simply hoped to use this little tactic to at least stall the enemy for a while.

Even if it couldn’t kill the enemy, it shouldn’t let the enemy have an easy time either.

But he didn’t expect that the Pea Shooter thrown, which initially was just a seed, would directly mutate on the Pirate Ship.

The enormous Pea Shooter locked onto the Pirate Boss like a cannon and unleashed a barrage of shots before the Pirate Boss could react.

Actually, this time, Gu Xi was just lucky.

He happened to throw the Pea Shooter to the original bow cannon position on this Pirate Ship.

It was enhanced by the bow cannon’s effect, increasing the cannon damage by 50.

For the ship’s cannon, this wasn’t much; but for the Pea Shooter Gu Xi intended as a mere distraction, it was significantly amplified.

The original Pea Shooter had an attack power of only 5, with 30 rounds of ammunition, now increased tenfold.

With 55 damage per hit, 30 rapid shots can wipe out over a thousand points of life instantly.

This explained why the Pirate Boss felt such a powerful presence staring at him.

But he no longer had the chance to think; as the Pirate Boss attempted to jump, the Pea Shooter’s muzzle shifted, firing a head-sized pea bullet, which struck the Pirate Boss squarely, pounding him back onto the Pirate Ship’s deck.

Then, thirty shells rained down, reducing the Pirate Boss to pulp.
