Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 136: Chapter 134: Unbuildable Structures

Yalidu City, Gu Xi supported his waist with one hand and the wall with the other, standing in front of the Assembly Hall door.

”Master, what happened to you?”

Seeing Gu Xi stumbling towards her, Luna quickly went up to support him.

”It’s nothing, just a slight strain on the waist.”

Gu Xi waved his hand, signaling Luna that he didn’t need support, then used the Cold Wind Staff with his right hand to stand a bit straighter.

”How is the situation in Yalidu City now, and is that Di Mi who was brought in yesterday behaving?”

”She is behaving, but...”

”What is it?”

Noticing Luna’s troubled expression, Gu Xi couldn’t help but ask.

”She made a lot of demands, and these are her design plans, asking us to build according to her requirements.”

Luna pointed somewhat helplessly at a table in the Assembly Hall nearby, and only then did Gu Xi notice that there were three different-sized items on it.

”Did she pick the land in the Hundred-armed Giant Graveyard District?”

”Yes, she took a fancy to it as soon as she arrived.”

”Then let’s just follow her requirements. After all, it’s just a matter of land. I’ll head to the Tavern later and see if the Barmaid has gathered the intelligence I need. With the information, we’ll take down the remaining two districts, and by then, no matter how big the issue, it won’t be a problem.”

Gu Xi said confidently, that even if the remaining two districts of Yalidu City weren’t large, taking over four large plots was still achievable.

What Di Mi wanted was just three large plots, and if she truly had the skills the Quartermaster spoke of, let her have them.

”No, Master, these buildings have pre-construction requirements.”

Only then did Luna reveal the source of her difficulty.

”Ah?”

Gu Xi walked to the table and picked up one of the design plans to examine it.

[Herb Graveyard (Large): Use 1500 resources, 10 units of stone, and 10 units of wood to construct a Herb Graveyard (Large Building) in the city.

Once built, 20 Zombies can be trained weekly (automatically transformed into Graveyard Zombie Farmers).

Before construction, a Level 1 Herb Garden (Medium-sized Building) and a Level 1 Alchemy Laboratory (Medium-sized Building) must be built.

Once built, it will link with the Herb Garden and Alchemy Laboratory areas.]

”Where are we supposed to find the Herb Garden and the Alchemy Laboratory?”

Luna shrugged, ”I don’t know either, but fortunately, there are no special requirements in this regard, maybe we can find a place somewhere.”

As she spoke, Luna gestured to Gu Xi to look at the other two design plans on the table; it was evident that these two were the most troublesome.

Gu Xi picked up the other two design plans with a look of confusion. Upon seeing them, he felt the situation with the [Herb Graveyard] might actually be more favorable.

[Spirit Tomb Laboratory (Large): Use 2500 resources, 15 units of stone, and 15 units of wood to construct a Spirit Tomb Laboratory (Large Building) in the city.

Once built, 10 Ghosts can be trained weekly (automatically transformed into Ghost Scholars in the Spirit Tomb Laboratory).

Before construction, a Level 1 Ghost Tower (Medium-sized Building), a Level 2 Alchemy Laboratory (Medium-sized Building, upgraded afterward), and a Level 1 Ghost Converter (Medium-sized Building) must be built.

Once built, it will link with the Ghost Tower, Ghost Converter, and Alchemy Laboratory areas.]

”What does the Ghost Tower refer to? And what is the Ghost Converter?”

”I have no idea, I’ve never heard of it.”

Regarding Gu Xi’s question, Luna also shook her head. To be honest, Di Mi’s requirements didn’t just stop at three large buildings; with all the pluses and minuses, there were also four medium-sized buildings included.

And the truly ridiculous part wasn’t just this; the Haunted Mansion was the main issue.

[Bloodfield Haunted Mansion (Large): Use 3500 resources, 20 units of stone, and 15 units of wood to construct a Bloodfield Haunted Mansion (Large Building) in the city.

Once built, 5 Vampires can be trained weekly (automatically transformed into Vampire Servants).

Before construction, a Level 1 Magic Tower (Core Building), a Level 3 Alchemy Laboratory (Medium-sized Building), a Level 1 Bloody Garden (Medium-sized Building), a Level 1 Basement (Medium-sized Building), and a Level 1 Blood Pool (Medium-sized Building) must be built.

Once built, it will link with the Alchemy Laboratory, Bloody Garden, Basement, and Blood Pool areas.]

”Core Building? What is she trying to do?”

”I don’t know, you’ll have to ask her about it. But fortunately, she only asks for these without specifying a time frame, so as long as they’re built, whenever is fine.

Before these three buildings are built, she will stay in Yalidu City, but she won’t go on expeditions. If anything happens in the city, she will make a move, but usually doesn’t communicate with us.

As for that Skeleton Shooter Boss, it seems fine, at least obedient.

Currently, it’s being formed into a Combat Squad at the White Bone Evil Temple, ready to set out at any time.”

”Never mind, I’ll find information on these architectural design plans later. How’s the situation at the Pier District; are the Wharf Market and Wharf Warehouse ready?”

”They’ve been constructed and have started normal operations.”

”Let’s go take a look.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi decisively said. But as he exited the Assembly Hall, he couldn’t help but adjust his waist.

In the end, he released the Evil Coffin to sit on, letting Luna lead the way ahead.

In Yalidu City, the wind blowing in wasn’t as cold. Gu Xi sat with perfect posture, holding the Cold Wind Staff with one hand and the Spirit Lamp with the other, looking very much like an Undead Mage just risen from a coffin.

Luna walked beside Gu Xi, leading the way while explaining the current situation in Yalidu City to him.

”After the Wharf Warehouse and Wharf Market were built, all the construction work stopped, even the supporting buildings weren’t built anymore. Now, negative energy is being accumulated, preparing to construct the Longgu Laboratory.

However, Master, our city’s occupied area is still somewhat small.

We can only produce 1000 points of negative energy per day, so it will take five to six more days to accumulate enough resources.”

”No problem, we don’t have any other architectural design plans now, and when we get the intelligence, we will attack the surrounding areas. By then, whether it’s the Deceitful Energy Pearls we seize or the new places we occupy, they can all be converted into enough negative energy.

Once we have taken those places, we’ll construct the Longgu Laboratory first. In this previous battle outside, the Death Incarnation played a significant role, boosting its combat power quite a bit.

Get the Longgu Laboratory up first, giving Death Incarnation a home is the most important thing for us.

Other matters can be postponed for a while.”

Luna instantly understood the hidden meaning in Gu Xi’s words; it implied putting off the various buildings Di Mi required for now.

She was familiar with such matters and could manage them!
