---------------------

Big Beard quickly realized that the Death Incarnation was not the kind of giant beast he had dealt with before.

The Death Incarnation is considered a type of Elemental Creature. Previously, when he dealt with such Elemental Creatures, he never jumped onto the opponent on his own initiative.

But this time, for some reason, he acted impulsively.

In fact, Big Beard didn’t know that the reason he was acting this way was entirely because as the Death Incarnation flew by, the black mist swept over him.

He was stained with an inconspicuous curse.

[Reckless Curse]

The effect of this curse is quite simple, it makes the cursed person act impulsively and do things differently than usual.

For instance, challenge a Boss alone with nothing.

By the time Big Beard jumped onto the back of the Death Incarnation’s dragon and realized something was wrong, it was already too late.

Half of Big Beard’s life was gone just like that.

If he stayed there any longer, Big Beard might have lost his head.

Thinking of this, Big Beard turned his body and punched the bones of the Death Incarnation, causing it to retreat a distance.

Seizing this opportunity, Big Beard landed on the ground, grabbed something, and stuffed it into his mouth without caring about anything.

Losing half a life, no matter how strong one is, will induce fear.

And at this moment, the Death Incarnation locked onto this perfect opportunity, its right eye turned gray, and a gray beam fell onto Big Beard.

Big Beard didn’t expect that the skills he used to order would fall upon himself.

He was well aware of the power of this attack, and facing the gray beam, he leaped to the side without thinking.

Behind him, a Skeleton Soldier was fighting a Ghost Soldier and both were turned to ash by the sweep of the gray beam.

Before Big Beard could catch his breath, another gray beam shot straight at him.

Big Beard was a bit angry at the Death Incarnation’s attack method.

Previously, when the One-Eyed Sewn-together Corpse attacked, it only used the Melting Light to break formations.

Yet the Death Incarnation was using it like a machine gun.

It truly doesn’t treat skills as skills.

In fact, Big Beard didn’t know that to the Death Incarnation, the Melting Light was just icing on the cake.

The real attack method of the Death Incarnation was the Death Dragon Breath.

That’s the means for a great battlefield.

In the current situation, for the Death Incarnation, the Melting Light wasn’t strong in power, had a slow usage speed, and the only benefit was that it could be used a few more times per battle.

If it doesn’t maximize this only advantage, what’s the point of having this skill?

So the second strike came when the first one didn’t hit, followed by the third.

Big Beard managed to dodge the first time, struggled the second time, but the third Melting Light hit him precisely.

Although Big Beard continuously stuffed various foods in his mouth as soon as he landed to quickly restore health, the time for replenishing health was still too short. Being hit by the Melting Light on the spot, his body involuntarily flew backward.

Seeing this, the Death Incarnation knew the Melting Light still wasn’t enough.

Without much thought, its right eye glared again for another strike.

This time, Big Beard’s life hit rock bottom, and even his shoulder was melted off a piece.

At this moment, Big Beard was still somewhat unwilling, but he had no chance anymore; the flesh he just grabbed hadn’t even reached his mouth before he fell.

[Death Incarnation (Spell product) killed the Otherworldly Ghost Boss (Level 9), gaining you 5727 experience points (Experience +5%).]

Upon hearing this voice, Gu Xi finally breathed a sigh of relief, while a trace of excitement flashed in his eyes.

Just within two battles, his level was already approaching Level 5, proving that such great battlefield advancements are indeed fast.

While Gu Xi was excited, a Ghost Soldier unit discovered their leader’s annihilation and unexpectedly charged towards Gu Xi’s direction.

Fortunately, even after releasing the Death Incarnation, Gu Xi didn’t send out all the zombies at his side.

Before those Ghost Soldiers could reach Gu Xi, they were blocked by the Armored Zombies.

However, their impact made Gu Xi realize that they were still on the battlefield and it wasn’t the time to be reckless.

After drinking a bottle of Magic Potion to replenish mana, Gu Xi began to hone his spell proficiency amidst the chaos.

Bone Spikes and Bone Shields flew wildly, Soul Drawing and Soul Summoning Skill were used simultaneously.

With Gu Xi’s participation, the pace of the battle quickened, the most important being that Gu Xi’s Bone Shield truly played a protective role, saving many heavily injured Undead.

And with the protection of the Bone Shield, their attacks became even fiercer.

Especially the Ghost Corps, who were originally sent to deal with Big Beard.

With Big Beard slain, they lost their target, so they immediately focused on the remaining Ghost Soldiers that hadn’t been killed.

With the help of the ghosts, the Ghost Soldiers’ numbers and strength were no match for the Skeleton Soldiers of the Sunshine Bone Corps; they quickly fell one by one, not standing up again.

All that remained were various pieces of information flashing before Gu Xi’s eyes.

[Ghost (temporary control) killed Ghost Soldier (Level 5), you gained 1 experience point, Yinfeng Camp gained 1 experience point, Ghost gained 1 experience point.]

[Skeleton Soldier (temporary control) killed Ghost Soldier (Level 5), you gained 1 experience point, Sunshine Bone Corps gained 1 experience point, Skeleton Soldier gained 1 experience point.]

[...]

At this moment, Gu Xi worked even harder, almost exhausting all his mana after drinking the Magic Potion.

Only after squeezing out the last drop of mana did Gu Xi sit on the coffin lid, panting heavily.

Being drained of mana twice in a row is really not meant for human endurance.

Now Gu Xi really didn’t want to drink another Magic Potion, holding his head, if it weren’t still the battlefield, he would have liked to just crawl into bed and sleep.

Fortunately, the last of the Ghost Soldiers was also killed. The five units that completed the kill swiftly teamed up and headed towards the gate behind Gu Xi.

When passing by Gu Xi, they reported this battle’s losses to him.

”Sunshine Bone Corps, 137 soldiers lost, need replenishment.”

”Light Shooter Corps, 22 soldiers lost, need replenishment.”

”War Shackles Camp, 36 soldiers lost, need replenishment.”

”Yinfeng Camp, 9 soldiers lost, need replenishment.”

”Ghost Qi Camp, no losses.”

After each statement, a batch of corresponding soldiers from the five hundred replacement troops following Gu Xi loudly stepped forward to replenish each team.

Seeing the number of five hundred Undead Soldiers reduced directly by half, Gu Xi felt a bit distressed.

But there was no helping it; he could only direct his gaze back to his army.
