Undead Mage from a Cell

Chapter 128: Chapter 126: Equipment Trading

After leaving the quartermaster’s territory, Du Wushuang looked at Gu Xi, who was leading the way ahead.

At this time, Gu Xi was just sending Di Mi and the Skeleton Shooter Boss he had just received back to Yalidu City.

”Where do you plan to go next?”

”Can you take me around the Blacksmith Shop? I want to forge a weapon. Also, I obtained some items I can’t use earlier, which should be useful for the Death Knight. Who should I find to trade with?”

Upon hearing Gu Xi’s question, Du Wushuang immediately patted his chest loudly.

”Leave this to me. I am the most familiar with these things. Now, let’s head to the Blacksmith Shop; it must be busy at this time with people going to repair their equipment.

I’ll take you to the Tavern first; you can find people there to trade with casually.

Sell off some of the items you don’t need first, and head back to the less crowded Blacksmith Shop later. Their fees are relatively high, although it’s fine for just repairing equipment.

Self-crafting weapons is also okay, but if you want custom weapons and equipment from the Blacksmith, the price will be expensive.”

Gu Xi understood the situation upon hearing this.

It seems that this is the same everywhere; exclusive weapons and equipment come with a higher price.

If you just want ordinary weapons, then you can find a place to craft them.

”Looks like I’ll need to specially train some blacksmiths in the future.”

Du Wushuang laughed upon hearing Gu Xi’s words.

”Interesting idea, but you probably don’t know how much it costs to train this kind of professional blacksmith, right.

That blacksmith is not simple; he’s already Level 5 and has learned specialized skills. He also masters Fire Attribute Magic, Destructive Magic, and Rune Magic, which are the keys.

So don’t underestimate the blacksmith profession. If you really want to train a blacksmith, at least start from a young age, and it might take more than a decade to complete.”

Gu Xi was puzzled, wondering why the blacksmiths in Scattered Immortal Garden were so skilled.

However, they had now arrived at the Tavern in Scattered Immortal Garden, and the lively atmosphere immediately caught Gu Xi’s attention, leaving him no time to ask about other situations.

”I, I just killed three Level 9 Otherworldly Soldiers. Everyone, take a look, these are Level 9 heads, the brains are still fresh, only for 15 yuan.”

”Take a look, don’t miss it, the finest white paper, limited quantity, of the highest quality.”

”Freshly obtained green equipment for Undead Mages, interested in exchange.”

”Blue, does anyone have blue equipment to sell?”

”Full set of Undead Soldiers equipment, +1 effect, a total of eleven sets, who needs it, come get it!”

Looking at the bustling situation, Gu Xi was somewhat dumbfounded; he didn’t expect there to be so many players in Scattered Immortal Garden.

”How is it? Bustling, right?”

”Indeed bustling, but can people here afford it?”

Gu Xi was still a bit worried.

”Don’t worry, our main products here are Dragon Blood Crystals, Dragon Steel, and Deep Blue Crystals. Who doesn’t have some stock in hand? Just ask them to give you Dragon Blood Crystals.

Generally, blue equipment can be exchanged for two Dragon Blood Crystals, or one and a half Dragon Steel.

What about purple ones?”

”Multiply directly by ten, but really, very few people would be willing to bring out purple equipment for sale.”

Upon hearing this, Gu Xi smiled smugly, suddenly leaped onto a high platform, raised his hand, and lifted his head, ”Purple equipment for sale, come see if you have Dragon Blood Crystals or Dragon Steel.”

Du Wushuang was just about to take Gu Xi into the tavern, but Gu Xi’s actions startled him.

He was about to say something when a voice came from not far away.

”Do you have purple equipment?”

”Of course, do you have Dragon Blood Crystals?”

Gu Xi glanced in the direction the voice came from and saw a fifty-year-old fat man standing there.

This fat guy had a dignified demeanor with a gray beard, exuding a boss-like aura in his gestures.

”Hahaha, I have Dragon Blood Crystals. Ask around; most of the Dragon Blood Crystals circulating in the market are in my hands. But kid, do you really have purple equipment?

Don’t take something that glows purple to trick me.

If you offend me, I can ensure you don’t receive a single Dragon Blood Crystal.”

”Rest assured, it is purple equipment, with both special effects and special impact effects. If it wasn’t physical-oriented equipment, I might as well use it myself.”

Upon hearing the term special impact, the fat man knew that Gu Xi was telling the truth, that he had purple equipment.

Those who haven’t obtained purple equipment wouldn’t know that once an equipment reaches purple quality, special effects will produce some negative effects.

”Take it out so I can have a look. If it fits, I’ll take it right away.”

The fat man stretched out his hand and said to Gu Xi.

The nearby people, including Du Wushuang, didn’t speak up; in their eyes, the fat man’s proposal was quite reasonable.

”Ding!”

Gu Xi flicked his hand, and the [Blood Battle Moustache Ring] flew out of his hand.

The fat man didn’t expect Gu Xi to toss the purple equipment directly, hurriedly stepped forward to catch it, and then saw all the attributes of the [Blood Battle Moustache Ring].

The equipment’s attributes were excellent, but the problem was its penalties were also severe; once used, they would activate, and even if not used later, the effects would remain.

So the fat man quickly fell silent, thought for a moment, and then said, ”Seventeen Dragon Blood Crystals.”

Gu Xi had no objections to this price, but he didn’t immediately respond; instead, he took out a Magic Potion Bottle.

The onlookers were speechless; what was Gu Xi doing?

Gu Xi pointed his hand toward the sky.

”Death Incarnation!”

A black Bone Dragon, shrouded in black mist, soared into the sky.

The next instant, all the players near the tavern went wild.

”Damn, am I seeing things? This is the Three Divine Skills.”

”My gosh, a Bone Dragon type Death Incarnation; this crosses the threshold to Level 10 directly.”

”Hit me, see if I’m dreaming... Ow! Why’d you hit me so hard?”

Gu Xi ignored those around him; he simply lowered his hand and simultaneously stuffed the Magic Potion Bottle into his mouth.

As Gu Xi drank the magic potion, the Death Incarnation landed beside him.

The powerful pressure forced all the surrounding players aside.

”Give him a try with Dragon Blood Crystals and Dragon Steel.”

As the Death Incarnation descended, Gu Xi calmly said, ”Give him whatever he wants. If the purple equipment is not enough, I have other things, like a purple training manual for the Death Knight’s promotion.”

While Gu Xi spoke, he kept watching the fat man.

”Bring it out, don’t shame us from Scattered Immortal Garden.”
