I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 520, Two Completely Different States!

When Su Bai and Yu Ying finished getting ready and were about to leave the second floor, they encountered Sha Lan and her companions.

After hearing the reason, they also wanted those snow boots, so they went back to make more snow boots… spending an extra hour.

*Step step step…*

Everyone left the Yong’an Building and arrived downstairs, Su Bai looked up at the snowflakes falling from the sky.

He stretched out his hand to feel the snowflakes falling from the sky, softly saying. “So it’s this cool.”

The white snowflakes fell into his palm, melting instantly with a slight coolness spreading from his palm, that feeling was quite comfortable.

He tugged at the Animal Hide cape on his body, feeling only a slight chill, and not feeling very cold.

Perhaps because the snow season had just arrived, the snow had not fallen heavily so it was not very cold, or perhaps because he was dressed rather thickly, the cold wind could not get in.

“Shaman, be careful not to catch a cold.” Yu Ying immediately came forward and tugged at his cape, tightening it a bit.

“It’s fine, I don’t feel very cold.” Su Bai shook his head and said, feeling that this temperature was still acceptable.

Yu Ying also looked up at the snowflakes falling from the sky, saying. “It’s still the same familiar feeling.”

Yu Ying was not as afraid of the snow season this year, and was rather calm about it this time.

Her mindset had changed, and looking at the falling snow felt different too, she could even appreciate its beauty now.

“This is just the best time, when evening comes, it will start snowing heavily again.” Yan Hua pouted.

Yan Hua still disliked the snow season, because every time this season came around, she would think of her friends and Family who had died during this season.

Although they had enough meat to eat through this year’s snow season, and warm Animal Hides, such memories were still haunting.

Perhaps because of the Dark Scorpion Tribe’s matter, or because of the approaching eternal night, her expression was particularly solemn.

Even with newly made snow boots on her feet, and warm Animal Hide clothes on her body, her mood had not improved.

“Don’t think too much, the Shaman will definitely have a way.” Sha Lan comforted her. She had known Yan Hua for so long, how could she not see through her thoughts? Since those two spies had entered the Tribe, Yan Hua’s attitude had changed.

“I know.” Yan Hua forced out a smile, and also stretched out her hand to feel the snowflakes falling from the sky.

“There will always be a way, won’t there? Trust me.” Su Bai suddenly walked over.

He also saw through her concerns, and at the same time felt gratified in his heart, after all, these people were thinking about the Tribe, and not like those who did nothing every day after eating their fill.

“Shaman, I believe in you very much.” Yan Hua was immediately comforted.

After all, since Su Bai came to the Flame Dragon Tribe, the changes in the Tribe could be said to be earth-shattering.

Many things that seemed impossible had all been accomplished one by one, and in an incredibly extraordinary manner.

After those previous incidents, Yan Hua already unconditionally trusted the Shaman.

“Since you trust me, then be a bit happier, take the opportunity to enjoy the scenery while it’s still good.” Su Bai said softly.

Although he was also thinking about this matter in his heart, at least the current beautiful scenery should not be wasted.

“Yes.” Yan Hua nodded heavily, then looked at her snow boots as she tramped around in the snow.

She saw the footprints left by the snow boots, and her feet were not getting wet from the snowflakes, more amazingly, her feet were still warm.

“Shaman, these snow boots are really amazing.” Yan Hua felt warmth in her feet for the first time during the snow season.

“Yes, these snow boots are really comfortable to wear, this way we can walk outside during the snow season.” Sha Lan agreed.

One reason why people of the Flame Dragon Tribe did not go out during the snow season was because of this.

Because the weather was too cold, and it was always snowing outside, they could only wear Straw Sandals on their feet.

This way, the feet would easily get frostbite, and some could only walk a few steps before being unable to continue; in severe cases, the entire foot would be useless.

So, at this time everyone would stay indoors if possible. After all, at home, their feet would feel a bit warmer.

“And this scarf is also amazing, I like it very much, it feels so warm around the neck.” Yu Ying buried her entire face in the scarf.

When they came out, each person was given a scarf, and all these scarves were handcrafted by Yu Ying.

Moreover, all these scarves were made of wool, cut from those sheep before the snow season arrived.

“By next year, we’ll be able to make clothes from wool, which will be much warmer to wear.” Su Bai smiled.

After all, there were not many sheep in the Tribe now, and the wool that could be collected was limited.

By the time next year’s snow season arrives, the number of sheep in the Tribe would definitely increase incrementally, and by then, more wool would be collected.

“We’re already doing so well in this snow season, we’ll definitely do even better next year.” Yu Ying said with certainty.

Yu Ying marvelled that the current life was simply incomparable to before, knowing that previously she had been making Animal Hide clothes for the people of the Tribe. Now she had become a Shaman Priestess, and life in the Tribe had begun to get better and better for everyone.

“When evening comes, the snow will get heavier and heavier.” Yan Hua suddenly said.

“Since that time hasn’t come yet, let’s start building a snowman.” Su Bai suggested.

The snowmen he had seen before were all on television, or in posts on social media.

He had never actually seen one in person, let alone made one with his own hands. Since it was snowing now, why not make one himself?

“Build a snowman? Shaman, what is a snowman?” Yu Ying asked in confusion.

“Building a snowman is using this snow to pile up into the shape of a person, in the place where I lived before, people often did this for fun.” Su Bai smiled.

“It sounds like it would be fun, I want to build one, I want to build one.” Yan Hua was the first to cheer excitedly.

Yan Hua felt it would be fun just hearing this word, not to mention actually doing it herself.

“Then you first roll two snowballs, one a bit bigger, one a bit smaller, then pile the two snowballs up, after that I’ll help you add some details.” Su Bai said.

“Good, I’ll do it.” Yan Hua started operating without another word, and the others did the same.
