I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 516, It Will Not Become an Obstacle…

Su Bai returned to the Yong’an Building, sitting on the sofa in the living room with furrowed brows, having received so much information in an instant.

His index finger kept tapping lightly on the table surface, his expression somewhat serious as he stared at the water cup on the table, deep in thought.

“Shaman, what do we do now? The Dark Scorpion Tribe will definitely keep coming at us,” Sha Lan said with a frown. She was shocked after hearing this news, never imagining that the Flame Dragon Tribe was being watched. Moreover, that Tribe had many other Tribes under them, which was truly shocking.

Initially, it seemed like those people merely had some small conspiracy, but no one expected it would be such a massive plot.

This conspiracy concerned the very survival of the entire Flame Dragon Tribe. If that Tribe truly intended to do something to the Flame Dragon Tribe, the current Tribe would find it very difficult to resist.

“We need to properly consolidate the Tribes under their control, then gradually defeat them one by one. Only then will we not struggle as much,” Su Bai said seriously.

After hearing what the other party had stated, he was indeed quite surprised, never expecting that an even greater crisis had always been lurking behind.

The reason he felt shocked was because the Flame Dragon Tribe had yet to develop to its fullest. It was somewhat difficult to resist the large Dark Scorpion Tribe, let alone considering that this Large Tribe had many smaller Tribes under its control.

If they united, the Flame Dragon Tribe would undoubtedly be like an infant in swaddling clothes, simply at the mercy of others.

The reason he had that person write down the other Tribes under the Dark Scorpion Tribe was to take things slow.

They needed to first defeat those smaller Tribes, and then devise a plan against the Large Tribe.

“Shaman, what if there are too many Tribes under their control? We still have to face the snow season and the eternal night. I fear we won’t have enough time to fight against them.” Sha Lan worried.

Although they had invented explosive packages as weapons a few days ago, and despite their lethality, the opponent’s Tribes were simply too numerous.

If they truly united, the Flame Dragon Tribe would be helpless. If it were individual Tribes, that would be manageable.

After all, the Black Snake Tribe from before, although a Medium Tribe, could not withstand the Flame Dragon Tribe’s attack.

Moreover, the Flame Dragon Tribe at that time did not have weapons like the current gunpowder. If they could win then, they certainly would not need to worry about dealing with a single Tribe now. The only concern was if they united.

“I know, all of this will have to wait until spring arrives,” Su Bai said seriously.

He had roughly calculated the timing; the other side would also face the snow season and eternal night, and would not have time to deal with the Flame Dragon Tribe right away.

So, they still had some time to adjust and think of response methods. They just needed to grow stronger during this time.

“Shaman, what about him?” Sha Lan was asking about Feng.

“After he’s spilled everything, lock him up. I promised to spare his life, so we won’t kill him for now.” Su Bai didn’t want to break his word.

“I’m worried about what will happen if the Dark Scorpion Tribe does not receive any news,” Sha Lan said anxiously. She worried that if they did not receive any news, would they directly dispatch people to attack the Flame Dragon Tribe? This would leave them no breathing room.

“Don’t worry, there are only a few days until the snow season arrives. If they temporarily don’t receive any information, they won’t suspect anything. After all, it’s impossible to receive any news in such a short time.”

Su Bai picked up the water cup and continued. “Only when the eternal night ends and they still haven’t received any information will they become suspicious.”

He was considering the shortcomings of information transmission in this era. For Tribespeople to know information, they would definitely have to wait for that person to return. If something happened to that person, then the information would be cut off.

Then, they would need to recollect it, which would delay things for a long time. Moreover, the Dark Scorpion Tribe was seven days away from the Flame Dragon Tribe.

Feng and his ‘friend’ had not been out for long, so if no information returned before the end of the snow season, it would not raise any suspicion. After all, they had intelligence agents, and these agents also passed information from one to another, which also took time.

It had already been some time since Su Bai and his group defeated the Black Snake Tribe. For the other side to only now come to investigate the cause now showed just how belated the information spread was. So, all conditions indicated this point: Su Bai and his group still had two to three months to prepare.

“Shaman, then we still have time to prepare. It’s just a pity that we can’t make the most use out of it due to the weather.” Sha Lan sighed.

“Yes, it’s too unfortunate. It had to coincide with the snow season. It’s simply impossible to do anything properly.” Yan Hua was also a bit angry.

They could not just watch as the Tribe was occupied by others again, could they?

“It seems we’ll have to leave here early. Though it’s really a shame about these stone houses,” Yu Ying said helplessly.

Yu Ying felt unhappy at the thought of returning to her previous lifestyle.

Originally, the Flame Dragon Tribe was her own Tribe, yet because of others, she had to endure this kind of pain.

*Knock!* Su Bai gently placed the cup on the table, looked up with a smile and questioned. “Who says we have to leave? We can also make use of the snow season to our advantage.”

“Shaman, once the snow season comes, there’s snow everywhere. We can’t do anything,” Sha Lan said confusedly. Every year during the snow season, they could not do anything.

Every year at this time, even walking was difficult, let alone going out to attack other Tribes.

If it could not become an obstacle, they would have gone out hunting long ago, and would not need to store food for when the snow season arrived.

But it was precisely because this snow season was the biggest obstacle that they could not move an inch and had no way to leave the Tribe.

Moreover, the eternal night followed right after the snow season, so during the snow season, they needed to conserve energy to deal with those frenzied Ferocious Beasts. There was no time to deal with those Tribes.

“You’ll know when the time comes. We must make use of this long period of time,” Su Bai smiled.

He did not believe that the upcoming snow season would become an obstacle that would halt their progress. Instead, it gave them time to make the best preparations.

“Shaman, are we really going to attack other Tribes during the snow season?” Sha Lan asked doubtfully.

“If so, I will definitely help,” Yan Hua suddenly stood up, her expression very serious.

She was unwilling to see the well-developing Tribe disappear again because of other Tribes.

“Let me arrange things first, then we’ll see the situation and discuss with the Chieftain,” Su Bai said calmly.

He already had a rough idea in his mind, but it had not been refined.

“We understand,” the girls said in unison.
