I Became The Chief Of A Primitive Village

Chapter 510, Acting Skills

Zhu widened his eyes, looking at the other person with a dubious expression, and asked. “Are you serious?”

Deep down, he did not want to get injured. Although he was a Totem Warrior, who would willingly want to get hurt?

“Hmm, you’re not as tall as I am. If you’re injured, they’re more likely to believe us.” Feng said without hesitation. He also did not want to get injured. If someone else could be injured instead, he would definitely let them take the role; he would not do it himself.

“That sounds quite reasonable, but I don’t want to.” Zhu shook his head repeatedly.

“Hurry up and stop dawdling. We’re wasting time.” Feng urged.

He did not want to give the other person any opportunity to think. He felt they should settle this quickly, then they could enter the Flame Dragon Tribe. That way, they could obtain some food from the Flame Dragon Tribe and would not need to hunt outside anymore.

“Fine, I understand. Do it,” Zhu said with his eyes closed, feeling quite helpless at this moment.

But this was also why they had been able to cooperate until now; they trusted each other somewhat.

Feng nodded, took out the bone knife he carried with him, and made a large cut on Zhu’s arm.

Fresh red blood immediately gushed out, covering the entire arm with blood, which continued to drip onto the ground.

Zhu gritted his teeth as he looked at his arm and said. “You’ve gone too far! To think you made such a large cut!”

“This makes it more convincing; they’ll believe us this way.” Feng waved his hand dismissively, indicating that the other should not make a fuss about such small matters.

“Just you wait! Next time, it will be your turn! I can’t believe you did this to me!” Zhu said, rolling his eyes.

Feng shrugged his shoulders and nonchalantly said. “Alright, I got it.”

“Hurry, or I’ll bleed to death.” Zhu walked ahead, using one hand to cover his wound.

Feng followed behind, whispering. “In a moment. I’ll support you. Just close your eyes and don’t speak.”

“I know!” Zhu was getting impatient; the wound was extremely painful.

*Step step step…* Feng supported Zhu as they walked towards the main gate of the Flame Dragon Tribe, with the latter pretending to be unconscious.

They walked for more than ten minutes, passing through the forest before arriving at the gate, where they immediately pretended to collapse on the ground.

“Is anyone there!? Please help! Someone is injured!” Feng shouted at the top of his lungs.

Zhu half-opened his eyes to look at the gate of the Flame Dragon Tribe but quickly closed them again. He had to pretend to be injured and unconscious so they would be taken into the Tribe.

“Help! Someone is dying! Can someone please come and help!?” Feng continued to shout.

After more than ten minutes, those patrolling inside the Flame Dragon Tribe heard the noise and opened the main gate.

*Creak!*

Several Totem Warriors and Warrior Trainees wielding spears and Crocodile Blades came out and surrounded the two men.

“Who are you? What are you doing here?” Shan Xiong looked at them sternly, gripping his Crocodile Blade tightly, ready to cut down the strangers at the slightest suspicious movement.

“We are Wanderers. Unfortunately, we got separated from the others, and my friend was attacked by a Ferocious Beast, so we had no choice but to seek help…” Feng hurriedly explained.

The expression on his face was pitiful, completely different from his usual fierce appearance. He was certainly performing at an award-winning level, acting out the scene with remarkable skill.

Zhu was also playing his part well, keeping his eyes closed and not daring to breathe loudly, pretending to be unconscious despite the pain from his wound.

“You encountered a Ferocious Beast in the forest and got injured?” Shan Xiong frowned as he looked at them.

Although he was a rather simple-minded person, he felt that this story was quite unbelievable and continued to suspiciously eye them.

“We’re being completely honest. Please save my friend, or he will truly die,” Feng hastily said.

He believed his excuse was very well crafted. Since they were Wanderers, he did not need to be specific about their Tribe. Being Wanderers, it was also normal that they did not have any Shaman Bone Tablets, so being unable to stop the bleeding made sense.

Furthermore, he did not need to explain why there were only two of them now. He thought this excuse was perfect, and with his Zhu being genuinely injured, the credibility was extremely high.

Shan Xiong remained silent for a long time. After several minutes, he ordered someone to bring the two of them into the Tribe.

However, they were not allowed to enter the central area of the Tribe but were settled in a wooden house next to the main gate.

*Step step step…*

After Shan Xiong had arranged for the two of them to be accommodated, he hurried off to find the Chieftain.

Half an hour later, he found the Chieftain and clearly explained the situation from beginning to end.

“They claim to be Wanderers?” Yan Jiao also found the description suspicious after hearing it.

“Yes, but I don’t think they look like it at all. They appear to be normal people from a Tribe. It’s strange…” Shan Xiong recalled the appearance of the two men.

He felt that the two men looked very peculiar, not like people from ordinary Tribes.

They did not resemble Wanderers, who were generally rather unkempt. These two were relatively well-groomed.

“Where is the injured man wounded? Is it serious?” Yan Jiao continued to ask.

After all, the Flame Dragon Tribe did not just take in anyone casually; at this point, a thorough investigation was necessary.

Moreover, the two clearly appeared to be Totem Warriors, which raised even more questions.

“The injury is on his arm, but it’s not very serious,” Shan Xiong said.

Yan Jiao frowned and continued. “Is there anything else unusual? Tell me everything, and then I’ll report to the Shaman.”

“Yes…” Shan Xiong nodded and spilled out everything all at once.
