Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 887: Chapter 886: King of Rings Little Assistant Is Online

Apart from the facts, this is the shared belief of all pirate crew members. Those who joined the Hundred Beasts have various reasons. Most of them were drawn by Kaidou’s strength, aside from those picked up by him.

Many fantasized about becoming the Pirate King before setting sail. But once they confronted the harsh reality and realized their shortcomings, they transferred their dreams onto the captain they admired.

It’s not only the Hundred Beasts; even in the Whitebeard Pirates, who have no interest in the Pirate King title, the same sentiment prevails. To Whitebeard’s crew members, only Whitebeard can be the Pirate King.

Even Whitebeard, who personally has no interest, can’t escape the emotions of his subordinates. This is especially true for Kaidou, who is interested in the Grand Treasure.

Moreover, making Kaidou the Pirate King is one of Yamato’s goals today. After losing a certain Oden’s Soul Device, apart from being somewhat stubborn, she’s quite normal.

Becoming the Pirate King is not her ideal. Her goal is to defeat Kaidou head-on through raw strength, then reform the Hundred Beasts as the second generation leader, creating a scenario she wishes to see.

However, this father-daughter battle won’t allow outsiders to interfere. No matter how fiercely they fight, it’s an internal conflict of the Hundred Beasts. Regardless of the winner, it’s ultimately their issue.

Once outsiders get involved, the nature changes.

Speaking of facts, nothing has changed besides the ever-expanding overall strength, and Kaidou continues to grow stronger.

In the original timeline, he was called the strongest creature because he couldn’t be killed. He continuously challenged the other Four Emperors and the Navy, although he often fled after losing, only to return later.

Currently, he defeats opponents, and if he loses interest, he calmly retreats, making the title ”strongest creature” even more deserved.

Even the Roadsign Poneglyphs, necessary to reach Laugh Tale, Kaidou already possesses information on three of them, making him the closest person to the Pirate King in a true sense.

Although Luffy claims to be the man who will become the Pirate King, Yamato isn’t angry, merely amused.

This isn’t Ghost Island. If someone breaks into Ghost Island and shouts that phrase, it would basically be a declaration of war, undoubtedly warranting a severe beating.

Anyone who can break into Ghost Island must know it’s Kaidou’s territory. Uttering such words knowingly would lead to a fate determined by Kaidou’s mood.

Of course, given the current situation, if an enemy truly enters Ghost Island, they would first face the furious Queen.

It means someone has breached the defenses he set up, which is a massive insult to his achievements over the years and a huge threat to his life.

But this is different. A group of fresh-faced pirates who haven’t even entered the Grand Line shouting such words, Yamato and others would just treat it as a joke.

People’s dreams always exist, or rather, dreams never disappear regardless of time.

Even in the New World, there are still many obsessed with the Pirate King title.

If everyone shouting this phrase was beaten, she might just have reached Fishman Island.

”Your father? But I would still not lose. Ultimately, the person who becomes the Pirate King will surely be...”

”Heracross!”

Beside him, Heracross suddenly struck a heavy blow on Luffy’s head. Due to his rubber nature, it almost turned him into a pancake.

As the outside brain of the Straw Hat Pirates, it considered it necessary to shut Luffy up to prevent unnecessary conflicts.

”What, Heracross, you don’t believe in me either? I’ve worked hard for this goal for a long time.”

”Alright, a joke told once is enough. Listening to it repeatedly is also quite boring. Didn’t the recent battle make you aware of the gap?”

Yamato didn’t care much, and neither did Page One, but the most volatile Ulti became annoyed from hearing him repeatedly utter that phrase.

”Ulti-chan, being so irritable is not good.”

”Ha? I want this brat to understand the cruelty of the world in advance; it’s for their own good. Didn’t Ferren just do the same? And the only one who can become the Pirate King is Captain Kaidou!”

As soon as the words left her mouth, Ulti’s figure vanished like teleportation. The next moment, she was beside Luffy, pressing him onto the Merry’s deck with one hand.

”Damn, it hurts. I’m rubber, how can it hurt when I get beaten?”

”Such naive little brat, better dream of being the Pirate King in the East Sea with your pitiful skills. How can you challenge that throne?”

Without transforming, Ulti completely suppressed Luffy with one hand. In terms of their strength, even Ferren was an invincible existence in the East Sea; transformation would be an unnecessary move.

Before, Ferren transformed simply to fight in human form, while Page One transformed for flight. In terms of combat, raw physical power sufficed.

Ulti’s sudden outburst and the rubber man’s pain left the Straw Hat crew on the ship stunned; everything happened too quickly for them to react.

They did not know this seemingly gentle girl is actually the most steadfast member of the Hundred Beasts. Even Jack couldn’t compare to her bravery.

Seeing how Yamato and Page One chatted well with them earlier, else it would have been more than just being pinned to the ground.

With Zoro and Sanji on guard, a clueless Apisu, terrified Nami and Usopp cowering in the back, a helpless Page One, and an anxious Heracross, the ship presented a vivid portrait of life’s diverse state.

”Calm down, calm down. We have no intention of making enemies of you, and you guys don’t have the qualification either. We’re only here to witness the Dragon Cave of the Thousand-Year Dragon.

Ulti-chan wasn’t wrong; with your current state, you can’t hold a candle on the Grand Line. Of course, whether you believe it or not is up to you. Ferren, is the time coming?”

Casually waving his hand, Yamato didn’t treat them as enemies but instead asked Ferren about the time.

”Almost, we should be leaving.”

”Yeah, if that dragon can’t fly now... we’ll just use another method.”

Over the years, Yamato mastered most not Zekrom’s power but Kyurem’s remodeled power.

Initially, Arceus used her Okuchi no Makami body to transform into a new Kyurem form.

Originally, she only controlled the power of Okuchi no Makami. Until now, the power of Kyurem finally revealed an Iceberg’s edge.

”Ice Seal...world!”

Her inner power began to revolve as intense cold power erupted from her body. Spreading from her feet, as the name suggests, whether island or sea became a new frozen world under Yamato’s power...
