Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 860: Chapter 859: Plate Radar’s Notification Sound

All things in balance, the once unrestrained Habaku has now encountered his nemesis—Uta. Uta’s abilities can counteract this internal persona. Facing absolute force suppression, even Habaku had to compromise.

Judging from the current negotiation results, Habaku will be well-behaved for a long time in the future.

After addressing this internal persona issue, Tesoro began to plan Cavendish’s cleansing operation, focusing on how to give him a new identity became the next key task.

On the other side, the Grand Line, Ascension Island, missionaries of the Arceus Sect arrived at the final stop of this voyage.

”It looks like a very ordinary small island, is there anything special here?”

Although the decision to come here was random, Misu seemed to have thought of something after confirming the destination, but did not immediately tell Tiger.

”How should I put it, Ascension Island wasn’t always such an ordinary small island, but was once a glorious empire, a nation favored by the Seven Stars of Aska.”

”Are you saying... like the Lord... God?”

”No, no, the Lord is unique, the gods may not be, but no other deity would stay in our world like the Lord does.

I also can’t be sure if this is true; it’s just some documents I saw in the church before, maybe just made-up stories by people.”

An old church also has a heritage outsiders can’t imagine, and some special documents are part of it.

Seeing Tiger’s interest, Misu mentioned the things she knew.

”Now... it’s 1519, almost a hundred years now...”

According to legend, nearly a hundred years ago, the Aska Kingdom was still a powerful country, a dominant presence in these seas.

The three princes of the Aska Kingdom all met a beautiful witch for the first time and fell in love with her simultaneously.

From then on, the three princes of the Aska Kingdom engaged in internal conflict, drawing their Seven-Star Sword representing the Aska royal family, constantly clashing, which escalated into a large-scale war to gain the witch’s love.

”Uh... how did the three of them use one sword? And where did the King go?”

”Sir Tiger, I’m just telling you what I heard, this detail, probably only people from a hundred years ago would know.”

”That’s true, but the only ones who could live that long would be the Giant Race, maybe Mr. Saul would know something.”

”I wouldn’t know about that, but ordinary people shouldn’t live that long anyway.”

At this moment, Asie and Olga almost simultaneously sneezed and couldn’t figure out what was happening.

Misu continued to narrate what she knew.

The scale of the war kept expanding, pulling more and more innocent people into it; the earth stained with blood, the ocean streaming with the blood of wrongful deaths.

By absorbing the grief of countless innocent sacrifices, even The Sea was weeping.

As the Seven-Star Sword, a royal heritage of Aska, absorbed countless vengeful spirits and blood, it was believed to have summoned slaughter and destruction, thus becoming a cursed Demon Sword.

Eventually, the Aska Kingdom was completely destroyed, but the Seven-Star Sword did not vanish because of it.

To make this demon blade more powerful, it must consume more blood.

Moreover, this demon blade has already developed its consciousness, seducing others to start wars for it, thus conducting more blood sacrifices.

Later, to save everyone from the war, the witch sacrificed her life to diminish the blood and hatred absorbed by the Seven-Star Sword.

The three princes prayed to the gods of Aska to repay the death of the witch they loved, obtaining three gems to seal the power of the Seven-Star Sword that had become a demon blade.

”Do you have anything to say?”

”Hmm... with such three princes, it’s not surprising this country was destroyed.”

”Oh, it seems Sir Tiger, you’ve grown quite a bit. The first person to tell me this story blamed the witch, thinking she was atoning for her sins.”

”You can’t blame it on her, though...”

Tiger hadn’t finished speaking when he suddenly stopped, as their ship docked, a crisp sound of a bell rang in his ears, the source of which was Misu’s waist.

Without Tiger’s reminder, Misu had already taken it out.

”As expected, this method is effective; there’s a reaction!”

The ringing sound came from none other than the Plate Radar borrowed from Shaina. Recently, Shaina had been with Arceus, and since Arceus could naturally sense the Plate’s locations, giving Shaina the radar was redundant.

So it was given to Misu and others on a missionary journey. The long-silent radar’s reaction indicated the presence of a Plate on this island.

Although it was a missionary group, finding the Plates is the top priority. Until the Plates are completed, it’s always Arceus’s primary goal.

The people on the ship geared up and advanced towards the interior of Ascension Island.

...

Compared to a hundred years ago, Ascension Island was now thoroughly dilapidated, with the villages not thriving, even somewhat primitive; one could see traces of ruins along the way.

The feedback from the radar grew stronger, and after passing a forest, Misu found herself on a cliff, with distant figures visible.

”This place... doesn’t look like a village, more like ruins? Or perhaps a sacrificial site, I see a stone statue, it should be the witch from the legend, is the radar pointing here?”

Tiger, with binoculars in hand, observed the surrounding situation to prevent unexpected occurrences.

”It’s nearby, seems like it’s right around these ruins, something here appears to interfere with the radar’s operation, the final position is always unclear.”

”Could it be broken?... This thing looks like it’s been made a long time ago.”

”I don’t know either... let’s approach and see, maybe getting closer will help, if it’s still like this, we’ll have to contact the Lord and let Him decide personally.”

Misu, not understanding how the radar works, only knew it could find clues to the Plates.

Subsequently, members of the Knight Order began jumping off the cliff in a queue to shorten their route; this height was nothing for these ”superhumans.”

”Lady Misu, do you need my help?”

After the members of the Knight Order had left one after another, only Tiger and Misu remained above. Tiger didn’t know Misu’s physical condition, hence his offer to help.

”No need, I’m not as weak as I used to be anymore.”

Misu’s body had also undergone changes, the purple armor cladding her body as she followed along with the members of the Knight Order, leaving the cliff...
