Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 859: Chapter 858: Uta’s New Profession

”As long as they agree?”

”That’s right, they can understand human language, and we will also respect their individual consent.”

”What if they all want to come with me?”

”You’re really... narcissistic...”

Tesoro never imagined that Cavendish could ask this question, it seemed he underestimated the other’s confidence in this area.

”Heh, if that brute can get their recognition, then why can’t I?”

”You can try, if you can really do it, no one will stop you, that person might even appreciate you and prepare something different for you.”

If he could win the recognition of a group of Pokemon, he could achieve a class leap, but such a thing was destined to be unlikely, currently only Yamato who possesses the Power of the Evergreen can do this.

In the end, all he received were one contemptuous look after another, without exception.

Even though he tried a few more times, no Alcremie was interested in him, so he left in frustration, following Tesoro to his new workplace.

”Lord Sacred Beast, that newcomer was finally taken away by Tesoro. This is the future direction of his entertainment department’s development, do you want to take a look?” ℯℯ𝘭.

”No need, how are Misu and Tiger doing?”

”Everything is going smoothly, Misu and Tiger have already started preparing for the return journey, their first voyage is about to conclude.”

Misu and Tiger’s voyage has only their last stop remaining, according to the random selection method, their final destination is Ascension Island.

Moreover, this was news from a few days ago, considering their ship’s speed, Misu and Tiger should be close to their destination.

Shaina flipped through the documents in her hand and continued reporting other situations, including new sailing tasks, and the task of staying behind in Wano Kuni was once again assigned to Yamato.

Kaidou wandered around outside and eventually returned empty-handed. In a bad mood, he got into fights with both Red Hair and Kizaru on the way back, enriching his record.

...

Meanwhile, after some time of sailing, Cavendish had already arrived at the new headquarters of Hundred Beasts Fruit.

During this time, Hundred Beasts Fruit has undergone several developments, with the headquarters on the Red Earth Continent preserved, they built a new headquarters on nearby islands.

And Tesoro started considering another problem.

Individually, Cavendish isn’t much, although narcissistic, there’s nothing majorly wrong, the problem is this guy has a dual personality, besides Cavendish, there’s also Hakuba within him.

When Cavendish is awake, he can suppress him, but they still share one body.

Tesoro is not a doctor and isn’t good at dealing with such things, and Cavendish is not a typical case of dual personality, it’s more like two souls crammed into one body.

In this situation, Tesoro actually knows what to do.

Tesoro’s designation of Cavendish is as a future idol-type male star, so Tesoro decided to gradually introduce him to internal personnel, and this time Tesoro has another purpose, to use Uta’s Sing-Sing Fruit to handle the inner personality problem.

This inner personality is bloodthirsty, during the day Cavendish can control this personality, but when he falls asleep, it’s different.

To prevent accidents, this personality issue must be addressed.

Hakuba and Cavendish share the same body, killing Hakuba and killing Cavendish is no different, and Uta’s Sing-Sing Fruit can pull a person’s consciousness into another space.

This is at the level of consciousness, here, they have a way to deal with Hakuba.

As for that Singing Demon King, last time Darkrai had a good meal and left it half dead, since then, it hasn’t appeared again, fearing being targeted by Darkrai once more.

”She is Uta, if you follow the newspapers, you should know her. This time we need to use her ability to deal with your issue...”

”Of course, I know her, she was the most famous newcomer songstress then.”

Cavendish’s voice carried a hint of jealousy, a little envious of Uta’s exaggerated popularity, on the day of her official debut, she had many fans, and they exist worldwide.

”As long as you know, then next, prepare to enter a new world, Uta, are you ready?”

”Ready, leave it to me, Mr. Tesoro.”

...

A melodious song resounded, and a sense of drowsiness gradually spread to the hearts of the few.

When Cavendish opened his eyes again, he saw someone very much like himself standing before him, except that person was already bound to a staff notation by some notes and couldn’t move at all.

In the past, when Cavendish fell asleep, Hakuba would come out to make trouble, but this time was different.

But this time was different, although he fell asleep, Hakuba couldn’t occupy Cavendish’s body because he also came to Uta’s Song Space, where Uta is almost like the ruler, those who don’t understand the score can’t release this bind.

Originally, Uta didn’t dare to use this score recklessly, but the Singing Demon King was so scared that Uta could use this ability with ease.

”You are Hakuba, right? You have two choices, either behave obediently or be directly eliminated here.”

Tesoro looked exactly like when he threatened Cavendish in the beginning, Hakuba’s combat power was several times stronger than Cavendish’s and could be considered a useful part, so Tesoro wanted to try and see if he could subdue this inner personality.

If not, then this personality could only be dealt with here.

This space is very special, theoretically allowing other souls to achieve a unique ”eternal life,” it can let souls live here, or let them be destroyed here, so it can handle Hakuba’s special existence.

If one day Uta decides she doesn’t want to sing anymore and changes career to become a psychologist, she might have a bit of a future.

As a special personality, Hakuba seemed to sense something, though he said nothing, his face revealed a fearful expression, even Cavendish noticed the astonishment, for even he had never seen Hakuba afraid.

Before this, Hakuba never feared Cavendish. The only way for Cavendish to kill him was through suicide, even though Cavendish, as the dominant personality, could suppress him, Hakuba looked down on him.

But faced with an unsolvable enemy, Hakuba would obediently confront it; the reason was simple, if Cavendish died, he too would die, but now the situation was different, this ability actually pulled him out separately.

A well-known person once said, if a person is killed, they will die.

This applies to the inner personality as well, with a knife already at his neck, he had no choice but to face the new reality.
