Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 775: Chapter 774: Don’t Chicken Out!

When it comes to pirates, Sakazuki shows no mercy. From the moment he was sent to carry out this task, his goal was to eliminate all factors of unrest.

If it weren’t for the lack of orders from the World Government, which forbids the Navy from randomly attacking a Sea Emperor and engaging in large-scale conflicts with them, Sakazuki would have already acted.

”Adjust the cannons, prioritize attacking the ships!”

Sakazuki’s Meteor Volcano has extensive power and range, but its drawback is that its accuracy isn’t great. The hit rate of the Magma Fist after being fired is seriously affected by external factors, so it’s only suitable for wide-area fire coverage, compensating for the lack of accuracy with quantity.

For precise hits on certain ships, relying on ship cannons is still necessary.

The ship’s cannons are not merely for display. Under the cover of double firepower, this Planting Island quickly turned into a sea of flames.

”Admiral Sakazuki! New situation, a new officer has been discovered, Zeraora is also on the island, and he’s protecting the ships evacuating!”

The undercover on the island only sent the signal of Queen’s arrival without detailed descriptions of the enemy’s composition.

”Full speed ahead, accelerate the landing speed!”

Due to the limitations of his Fruit Ability, Sakazuki doesn’t perform as well on the sea as Kuzan and Borsalino do. Kuzan can freely freeze the sea, and Borsalino can fly freely; neither is constrained by the dynamics of the battlefield.

But for Sakazuki, he can best exert his strength on land.

At this moment, around the island, the lightning in Zeraora’s hands had almost solidified. With a swing, the approaching shells were detonated in advance.

”Lord Zeraora! The message has been sent back to Ghost Island, take care!!”

On the ship, the evacuating pirates shouted out their situation, or else under the cover of explosions, these voices would be inaudible to others.

”Bastards! Are you just going to watch? Push out the cannons and fight back for me!”

The officers on the ship issued new orders. They couldn’t interfere in the Grand Admiral Level battle, but they were not afraid of a warship’s bombardment.

Their cannons are no less powerful than those of the Navy. If the Navy can hit them, they can hit the Navy too. This is the New World, and they are pirates. There’s no way a pirate ship wouldn’t have heavy weaponry, even if this ship primarily engages in transport work.

The banner of the Hundred Beasts can only avoid most troubles; sometimes it still has to rely on cannons to speak.

...

Under the organization of the officers, the retreating pirates also began to counterattack with cannon fire. At this moment, Queen had already arrived above the warship.

”You magma mad dog, do you know how much effort I’ve put into this banana plantation!!”

The modified body had expanded into an arsenal, pouring its firepower toward Sakazuki’s location. However, this was only a venting of anger. Whether laser or gunpowder weapons, they had no effect on a Logia-type body.

On Sakazuki’s body, magma-like holes bloomed, and whether it was Queen’s bombardment or fragments from exploding ships, they were merely melted by the scorching magma.

But this attack was a disaster for ordinary Navy Soldiers. Queen didn’t care about such matters. It wasn’t enough to vent his inner anger, but in an instant, Sakazuki disappeared from view below.

When Queen raised his head again, the opponent was already in front of him.

”Pirate’s hard work, is there anything worth regretting?!”

With billowing black smoke rising from his fist, the magma-formed fist struck directly at Queen’s face. Now, all the Three Great Admirals are Logia-type Ability Users. Although the Logia-type gives them terrifying destructive power, their Body Techniques should not be underestimated.

Even though Zephyr always said Kizaru relied too much on the Fruit Ability, his Swordsmanship and Kicking Skills surpassed most people.

Zephyr’s comparison targets were originally that small group of people standing at the peak of Body Techniques. Compared to the older generation of Navy who specialized in Body Techniques, Borsalino was somewhat lacking, but combined with the Glint-Glint Fruit ability, it was enough to make him a top-level powerhouse.

And in this aspect, Sakazuki is even stronger than Borsalino.

The World Government’s command was to capture alive if possible or choose to kill, but he had already automatically ignored the first option. There was no reason for the sinners who caused great losses to the Navy to live.

He wouldn’t allow Queen to slaughter the soldiers on the ship like this. Although Sakazuki might sacrifice some Soldiers to achieve his goal, for absolute justice, he didn’t mind sacrificing a few, but their death had to bring profit.

He is also an Admiral, the cornerstone at the Navy’s forefront; in such situations, he would undoubtedly stand out.

Moonwalk is basic for people like them. Although Queen extended his arm to block, the massive Magma Fist still sent him flying.

In this process, two Razor Leaf blades flanked by Haki were released from Queen’s vibrating wings, though the scars they left continued to slowly heal.

”Haki? Such Haki is still not enough.”

As long as they pre-judge the opponent’s attack position with Observation Haki, Logia-type Ability Users can avoid this damage. Facing Sakazuki’s taunt, Queen did not continue to attack.

Looking at the slightly melted part of his mechanical arm, feeling the burning sensation on his face, the rage that clouded his judgment slowly subsided.

This is a Navy Admiral; challenging this opponent seems a bit premature...

But just as he wanted to leave, Sakazuki disagreed.

”Meigo!”

The magma arm quickly elongated, striking toward Queen like a viper’s tongue. His massive body seemed to become a target for Sakazuki.

This move was extremely fast, and Queen couldn’t dodge it. However, Kaidou’s years of hammering had paid off, and relying on solid Armament Haki, Meigo could not punch a hole in him.

The scorching magma seared his skin continuously. Just as his defense was about to break, a bolt of lightning descended from the sky, interrupting Sakazuki’s attack.

”Yo, you’ve finally arrived!”

”I was fast enough already, how does it feel?”

When Queen attacked Sakazuki, more than half of the warship’s cannons were destroyed, and Sakazuki had turned his attack toward him, so Zeraora naturally had no need to cover those retreating. He soon arrived in this battlefield.

”It’s okay, not as painful as when Kaidou hits me. Let’s find a way to deal with this problem first, or else it won’t be easy for us to leave.”

He had gone to great lengths to bring Zeraora out to prevent incidents, having no psychological burden in teaming up.

”To correct you, it’s not us. I can leave now if I want; he Can’t stop me, and you just wanted to kill him, didn’t you?”

”...”
