Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 757: Chapter 756: BIG MOM’s Fantastical Marriage Alliance

As long as you are more powerful, you will always catch the attention of pirates in the New World. Buggy, however, seemed to have vanished, and for an ordinary person, this would be nothing unusual—just too weak.

But back then, the two were inseparable. One became a Sea Emperor, while the other should not have been so obscure, no matter how you think about it.

However, she did not delve into this matter and still read the detailed report.

”So, do you want to try him again? According to pirate rules, if you beat him, you would be a Sea Emperor too. No, now, it should be called one of the Four Emperors?”

Morgans’ newspaper is very influential. As a private news agency, it can disregard the World Government’s orders and publish those forbidden news reports.

Although there is a factor of indulgence from the World Government, like the things about Rocks they want to keep hidden, Morgans hasn’t been able to dig up any news. But this also shows his uniqueness.

The title of Sea Emperor was spread by him, possibly because he felt Three Emperors didn’t sound good. It wasn’t until Shanks ascended the throne that the collective name Four Emperors was introduced.

”Forget it, I don’t want to ruin my perfect record of two victories out of two battles. This guy could still achieve such feats even missing an arm; he’s got some real skill.”

Over the years, there were many rising Great Pirates, but none had ever received the title of Sea Emperor. Strength is one aspect; battle achievements are another problem.

This title was initially brought up because the Kingdom of Sikai was destroyed. Morgans praised Kaidou as a Sea Emperor, citing him alongside the veteran pirates Whitebeard and Charlotte Linlin.

In external intelligence, Shanks also made moves to destroy nations. He took the blame for the destruction of Ellegia, but back then, he didn’t receive this position.

If you look into it, it’s related to the conflict that happened at sea a few days ago. After the Hundred Beasts power struggle ended, there was a clash between the BIG MOM Pirates and the Red Hair Pirates.

The cause was an island that, due to a drought disaster, had a significant fruit yield reduction and couldn’t provide enough fruits to the BIG MOM Pirates as in previous years.

Charlotte Linlin doesn’t think of reasons; as long as she doesn’t get what she wants, it brings about destruction.

But by chance, the island people got to know the Red Hair Pirates, so Shanks wanted to protect them, eventually evolving into a territorial conflict.

Shanks and Charlotte Linlin had a big battle, which ended due to Charlotte Linlin’s anorexia nervosa acting up. After several days of intense battle without falling into a disadvantage, merely with one arm, he held back the BIG MOM Pirates. This was one of the reasons Shanks became an emperor.

”Are you not just deceiving yourself?”

”Hmph, it doesn’t matter if I say it, that guy lost to me twice, and that was even with collaborating with others.”

She knew very well what it meant to be able to fight with BIG MOM for so long. With not much ambition, she was content with the status quo. Even most others felt exclamations, while many people wanted to challenge this newly emerged Sea Emperor.

After all, compared to the old Sea Emperors, his fame was lacking a bit.

However, those who didn’t give face to Shanks later didn’t have a good time either. Shanks is also a pirate; offending him, attacking his territory, he wouldn’t show mercy.

....

”Gurararara, has that brat also reached this point? I guess I’m really getting old.”

On the Moby Dick, the traces of time still appeared on Whitebeard’s body, with medicinal supplies becoming essential materials onboard.

The medicines from the Hundred Beasts Fruits were indeed effective, but Whitebeard’s bodily issues weren’t problems that appeared overnight. Years of battles left him with no solution.

Last time, it was Kaidou showing his formidable power; this time, it was that brat from years ago ascending the throne, making Whitebeard sigh, realizing he indeed is getting old.

”Not at all, Pops, you are still in your prime!”

”Yeah, Pops, our journey is just beginning!”

”Gurararara, indeed, well, boys! Let’s have a banquet.”

Shanks becoming a Four Emperor had nothing to do with them, but inexplicably, they still started a feast.

At the performance department of Hundred Beasts Fruits, Uta’s emotions were similarly complex. The rise in the Red Hair Pirates’ status meant that she needed even greater fame to be worthy of being the songstress of this pirate crew.

Meanwhile, in the Red Hair Pirates, they, the ones involved, were drinking with no worries, while Hawkeye had a confused face.

Since Shanks lost his left arm, he lost interest in challenging him. This time, he was just passing through for business, stopping by to see this old friend, unexpectedly dragged directly into a banquet.

As someone successful, it was normal for Shanks to host a banquet, but in the Tottland Kingdom, Charlotte Linlin didn’t become angry and had a face full of delight instead.

...

”Perospero, Katakuri, how’s the preparation going?”

”Mama, everything is ready. The tea party invitations have been sent, just waiting for the guests to arrive.”

”Mama~ Mama, very good, this is the true nature of Tottland as the Land of All Nations. That way, the army of the world’s strongest nation can also be used by me.”

On a throne made of desserts, Charlotte Linlin was contemplating the future; her thinking greatly differed compared to normal people.

When there weren’t enough family officials, find a husband and have children.

When the family’s future fighting power wasn’t sufficient, find a new husband and continue to have children.

Whitebeard, Kaidou’s officials were recruited from all over the world. Charlotte Linlin was unique; she sought husbands of different races and then begot children, training them as officials.

Or use them for strategic marriages, nurturing their partners.

But two years ago, after giving birth to her last daughter, she hasn’t been pregnant for a long time.

The battle with Shanks wasn’t pleasant. Though she didn’t lose, her crew, except for Katakuri, all faced suppression. She didn’t get angry not because she didn’t care but because her mind was preoccupied with another joyous matter.

Just recently, someone proposed to her daughter.

This wasn’t uncommon; many people wanted to marry into the BIG MOM Pirates. The exciting part for BIG MOM was the identity of the other party.

The son of the King of the Elbaf Giant Kingdom - Loki.

Because of destroying a village in the Elbaf Kingdom in childhood, causing the death of the Giant Race hero Yarl due to injuries, Charlotte Linlin was a hated existence among the giants worldwide.

Now the opportunity had arrived; as long as marrying Loki, her daughter would become the Princess of Elbaf, and past grievances would have a chance to be resolved. So, she didn’t mind the temporary defeat.

Elbaf’s power is hailed as the world’s strongest nation; if this giant army joined her command, the world’s structure would surely change once more.
