Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 760: Chapter 759: A Brand-New Term, BIG MOM’s Idea

Arceus said this, but as a fanatic, Misu added in some self-imagined details, eventually deriving a completely different conclusion.

In Misu’s eyes, this was just an excuse the god made to be low-key, so she marked that part of the quote as Lu Xun.

This term is a purely phonetic transcription in this world, so within the Arceus Sect, Lu Xun = Anonymous, becoming a professional religious term.

Of course, except for what was just said, that sentence really was by Lu Xun.

Originally, it was said that this room was too dark, suggesting to open a skylight here, everyone would definitely not allow it. However, if you propose tearing off the roof, they would come to a compromise and be willing to open the skylight.

Zeraora and Setsuna’s family gathered quite a few people, finally under Yamato’s lead, they went to BIG MOM’s territory just like the envoy.

...

”Wow, what a big ship.”

In the Tottland Sea Region, on the Juice Sea, Yamato’s Pokemon Ship coincidentally encountered the Giant Race’s ship. Compared to the delicate Pokemon Ship, the Giant Race’s ships appeared very rugged; they were several Viking pirate-style longships.

Although far less technologically advanced than Yamato’s Pokemon Ship, it was big enough, which is the Giant Race’s consistent style. At this moment, the sea surface was calm, and the Pokemon Ship sailed using mechanical power provided by Revavroom.

Meanwhile, the Giants kept it even simpler, rowing manually, with massive oars whose blades were much larger than an average person, each stroke creating considerable waves.

Onboard were robustly-built giants, occasionally one or two female giants could be seen, and above the deck, prepared gifts were already piled high.

”Do you remember what I said before?”

”Don’t cause trouble, don’t run around, or we won’t bring you out anymore.”

”But those guys are so big, can we go over and play with them?”

”It’s not like you haven’t seen giants before, didn’t Saul really enjoy playing with you guys?”

”Saul is Saul, these big fellows look different.”

Previously, it was unusual to see the Giant Race here, but this time it was different, after all, they were the protagonists of this betrothal. Right then, two ships adorned with sweets sailed over.

Due to the differing status of the Hundred Beasts and the Giant Race, the BIG MOM Pirates specifically arranged people to welcome them, preventing any unnecessary conflicts from breaking out between them.

”Lord Duke, long time no see.”

”Pekoms? You seem to be doing well, haven’t you gained some weight?”

”It’s inevitable living here, please follow me, Mama is ready for you.”

Due to the special invitation extended to the Fur Race, Charlotte Linlin had Pekoms, who had already joined her, come to welcome them.

Logically speaking, Yamato was the main person in charge here, but due to the Fur Race’s status, it was natural for Pekoms to consider Setsuna as the leader, though Yamato wasn’t bothered by such matters.

Upon arriving on the island, Miaona and Wolf, visiting Cake Island for the first time, were instantly captivated by the island’s wonderful sights. Although Pokemon are also mystical creatures, these moving foods, and houses made primarily of cookies and cakes, still piqued their curiosity.

The Fur Race had a high-sodium diet in the past, related to Zou’s survival environment; land limitations made it impossible for them to grow crops extensively, relying mainly on Elephant Lord, sea fish, and sea salt for supplies while sugar was a rare sight.

Miaona and Wolf, born on Ghost Island, had their tastes altered by the affluent living environment.

”Uncle Pekoms, can these houses be eaten?”

”These ones can’t. Only those nearing expiration can be eaten, and there’s a professional demolition team responsible. If you want, I can take you to see...”

”Forget it, Pekoms, first take us to the venue; we have proper business here this time, right?”

”Alright, Lord Duke, I bet Mama has been waiting for quite some time.”

Setsuna interrupted Pekoms, knowing from past visits that Cake Island’s expiration didn’t refer to the ’shelf life’ but to the ’taste period’; foods here were consumed within their tastiest timeframe, becoming subpar once past that.

Led by Pekoms, they quickly arrived at the venue, where this ceremony seemed more formal than previous tea parties, at least to the extent that Setsuna didn’t see Smoothie squeezing strange things for juice.

Possibly to express goodwill, Charlotte Linlin put away many items in front of the Giant Race.

”Zeraora, Setsuna, Yamato, you’re here too! Kaidou has given us quite an honor this time, mamama~ mamama~”

Seeing their arrival, Charlotte Linlin got up specifically to welcome them in, previously only Stussy and other underworld kings received this treatment.

In front of the guests, Charlotte Linlin didn’t bring up potentially unpleasant topics; her rationality was still intact now.

”Our father asked us to bring you gifts that aren’t particularly valuable; just some specially made cream and honey.”

Yamato handed several jars to Charlotte Linlin, which appeared as small as little tea jars in her huge hands. Charlotte Linlin enjoyed the mystery of opening gift boxes, but since this one was a favorite specified request, she didn’t mind.

”Mamama~ mamama~ such nice gifts you have, with these, the most delicious wedding cake can surely be made. You should know these folks too, they all have substantial business dealings with Kaidou, feel free to take a seat.”

Besides Umit, the others proactively stepped forward to show friendliness; even Umit put on a smile. Back then, the Hundred Beasts established their transport team using Lapras, costing Umit quite some business, though he couldn’t afford to offend the Hundred Beasts.

”Are these your kids? They’re really cute, Flampe, Anglais, didn’t you want to make friends? Now’s your chance to meet some new friends.”

Looking at Miaona and Wolf, Charlotte Linlin seemed to have a brand-new idea. If Zeraora himself didn’t work out, his children possibly could; seeing how young they were, there should be opportunities, so she immediately summoned two similarly-aged children.

Charlotte Linlin had a cyclical fondness for children under 10, these smaller kids always stayed by their side, while she concurrently instilled the thinking of obeying her through her sheer power.

So, Flampe and Anglais both exhibited compliance, and after all the guests arrived, the Nun’s photo was also brought out, while Perospero arrived with the last key person.

”The Prince of Elbaf, Lord Loki arrives!”
