Arceus's Pirate Journey

Chapter 773: Chapter 772: Let Me Demonstrate the Wrong Approach

Tossing the Devil Fruit in his hand, he also displayed his arsenal, showing his determination for this mission.

”Oh, right, this is for you. Although you don’t usually like to use weapons, take it this time.”

As the current head of research on Ghost Island, Queen not only perfected his own weaponry but also brought Zeraora a small piece of equipment, a plain seastone dagger.

In the outside world, crafting this thing is not easy. Due to the hardness and properties of seastone, shaping it is very difficult. Typically, the size of the ore determines the size of the object.

Only in Wano Kuni can you have any shape you want.

Therefore, they have many weapons containing seastone, but Zeraora never had the habit of using weapons before.

His fists and kicks are his most powerful weapons.

”I say...you’re not lying to me, right? You’re going out this time just because there’s a problem with your orchard?”

Looking at the things Queen had prepared, Setsuna couldn’t help but feel it was strange. It was as if he was convinced there was a conspiracy behind this action.

”No, your clearance isn’t any lower than mine, and Zeraora’s clearance in your family is also very high. You can check for yourself. If there’s any false information, I won’t eat mochi red bean soup for a year.”

Setsuna believed Queen’s oath, even though this guy wasn’t a good person, he was very particular about food. This is someone who dared to fight over food with BIG MOM for mochi red bean soup, and even headbutted her directly.

It shows how obsessed he is in this regard.

”You wait outside first. I’ll help Zeraora pack some clothes. Bepo! See him out!”

Finding an excuse to send Queen out, Setsuna pulled Zeraora aside.

”What’s up?”

”That guy is acting strange. If there really is something wrong, let him draw the fire and make your own escape.”

”Isn’t that a bit too much?”

”What are you afraid of? Did you forget what it said on his wanted poster? Only alive, if you push him too hard, that’s the only way it gets dangerous. And in a situation neither of you can handle, you’ll have to rely on Mr. Kaidou and Lord Arceus.”

Between a colleague and her husband, she was more concerned about Zeraora’s issues.

Even though Queen is a companion, he doesn’t hold the same place in Setsuna’s heart as Zeraora does.

”Don’t worry, I know how to handle it, trust me.”

And so, Queen successfully persuaded a companion and went together with Zeraora to the banana plantation.

Only when setting out did Zeraora realize he underestimated Queen’s caution.

”Is this necessary?”

”I think it’s necessary. You can fly anyway, and we’re not always flying, just changing places to take a boat.”

Technically, the only external exit from Wano Kuni is the Hidden Port, which is the safest way to leave Wano Kuni. Alternatively, those with guts can choose to ride the waterfall, as long as the ship is sturdy enough, either climbing the waterfall against the current or sailing right over it is achievable.

Besides, they have another method, flying.

Queen then led Zeraora to this platform and took advantage of the night to leave Wano Kuni.

He was worried that if he sailed out, it would attract the Navy’s surveillance ships, so he chose this quiet way, thinking no one would care about two small silhouettes in the night sky.

A few days later, Zeraora and Queen arrived at the plantation. Seeing most of the banana leaves on the island turn yellow and withered, Queen felt tears well up in his eyes.

”Damn it! Why are you standing around? Hurry up and take me to the lab!”

Due to the severe damage to the banana plantation, Queen was in a bad mood. Seeing the employees around him looking confused, an unnamed anger surged in his heart.

”Yes... but Lord Queen, why are you here?”

”If I didn’t come, everything on this island would be gone! Stop wasting time and lead the way quickly!”

”Yes... Please come this way!”

An angry Queen is still quite intimidating. The ordinary employees immediately led him to the place where agricultural problems on the island were addressed, pushing aside the researchers who hadn’t figured out the situation yet.

”Get out of the way! You can’t even figure out something this simple. What use are you!”

”Lord Queen, we tried, but...”

”No buts! Pay attention! Why can’t you understand such simple steps?”

With that, Queen turned on the equipment and began a teaching session on the spot.

...

”No wonder he’s Lord Queen. Is this actually how it’s done?”

”So that’s how it is. This way, it saves more than half the time!”

To quickly save his bananas, Queen’s arm moved so fast it left afterimages, various instruments flying in his hands, soon achieving what he wanted. As once a member of MADS, he still possessed quite a bit of research talent.

MADS people would rather verbally fight all day long than waste their time with useless people. In this respect, his ability truly is world-class, and the surrounding people weren’t just flattering him; Queen actually accomplished things they couldn’t manage.

But as the last drop of liquid flowed into the beaker, gray smoke suddenly appeared on the lab table, followed by the sound of an explosion.

Watching from the side, Zeraora was speechless. Even if he didn’t understand science, seeing the mess on the lab table, he could tell what happened.

It seemed Queen failed as well.

As the smoke cleared, Queen’s face was covered with chemical residue, but he stood still as if petrified.

The onlookers around were also too scared to make a sound, unsure if Queen might become angry from the embarrassment.

”Cough, cough, you all saw, right? This is why you failed! I just demonstrated how you fail so you can learn from it!”

In a brainstorm, Queen quickly came up with a new excuse to cover his own failure.

”Next, I’ll show you what the correct method looks like.”

After cleaning up the lab table, Queen repeated the previous actions. To prevent accidents, he activated part of his own modifications, ensuring precision was not an issue, but after a few minutes, another explosion occurred.

Queen’s eyes were filled with suspicion. After several consecutive explosions, he determined one thing: the problem wasn’t with him, but that the method itself was not right, otherwise, there’s no way he would keep failing repeatedly in such an experiment.

Having cleared everyone out, Queen picked some fresh samples from the outside banana field, returning to the initial stage.

It wasn’t that what he wanted to study was mysterious, but he was worried about embarrassing himself if something went wrong.

”How many times have you tried without any results?”

Even for Zeraora, he was growing a bit impatient with the tedious experiments and began urging Queen to speed up the process.
