Jiang An squatted beside and silently observed.

Suddenly, he pointed to the dead man’s lips and said, ”Look at this place, is it damage outside the lips?”

The young forensic examiner opened the dead man’s lips, wiped the mud, and said, ”Mr. Jiang, there is also damage here, it appears to be caused by water animals gnawing.”

Then he started examining the dead man’s neck, seeing no obvious external injuries there.

However, the nipples on both sides of the chest showed clear damage.

Seeing this, the people nearby gathered around.

Qin Feng asked, ”Is this caused by animals gnawing as well?”

The young forensic examiner nodded: ”In my opinion, this area should be like the ears, a protruding part of the human body, easily gnawed by fish.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Jiang An clapped his hands and said, ”You might want to focus on the damage to this area.”

The young forensic examiner tilted his head slightly, looking puzzled: ”Isn’t it animal gnawing?”

Jiang An said: ”I don’t think so!”

Then he pointed and said: ”Look at the damage, it’s symmetrically distributed, there is similar arc-like skin damage above and below the nipple.”

”For this kind of skin damage, I think it aligns more with human teeth marks.”

”Human teeth marks?”

These words made everyone immediately focus their gaze on the chest damage.

At first glance, the chest damage appeared very chaotic.

But upon closer observation, the damage was symmetrically distributed in certain areas.

Jiang An said: ”Currently, this is just my assumption, let’s keep examining.”

Then the young forensic examiner continued the examination.

When it came to the deceased’s thighs, Jiang An said: ”Open the dead man’s legs.”

Then the young forensic examiner reached out to open the deceased’s legs.

However, because of rigor mortis, it was quite difficult to move them.

After 1 minute, the dead man’s legs were finally separated, completely revealing the genital area.

Jiang An glanced down.

Sure enough, there was clear damage to the deceased’s genital area.

This time, the young forensic examiner no longer felt confident, he turned and guessed: ”Mr. Jiang, does this area look like animal gnawing?”

Jiang An shook his head: ”It doesn’t look like it.”

”This is a concealed part of the human body, you remember the movement you just made to open the deceased’s legs?”

”Even though the deceased died more than 24 hours ago, rigor mortis is strong.”

”If rigor mortis hadn’t eased, then during water drifting, his legs would remain tightly closed together.”

”In such a leg posture, large water animals couldn’t possibly enter the deceased’s genital area to gnaw.”

”Even if some small fish or tiny organisms entered the gap, there wouldn’t be a large number of toothed water creatures biting.”

”So, I think this area’s damage should have occurred before the deceased entered the water.”

Upon hearing this, Qin Feng looked at Jiang An in shock.

”This area is also human-inflicted damage?”

Jiang An nodded: ”I think so.”

Then he said: ”I lean towards animal damage for the damage to the deceased’s earlobes, because it’s a protruding area.”

”The earlobe damage is like peeling an onion gently, which is a clear sign of water animals gnawing human tissue layer by layer.”

”However, the chest and genital damage are very peculiar, these damage points are symmetrically bitten, consistent with human teeth’s biting process.”

”What about the lip damage?”

The young forensic examiner curiously asked.

Jiang An replied: ”Regarding the lip damage, I personally believe it was also caused by human biting.”

”Because if it was animal gnawing, the lip mucosa is thinner, more easily bitten, that’s their priority area.”

”However, the damage we see on the deceased’s lips is on the skin outside the lips.”

”Moreover, the external and internal skin damage on the lips have certain correlations, consistent with normal human teeth biting damage.”

Listening to Jiang An’s analysis, the crowd turned their gaze to the damage on the deceased.

After a long time, Deputy Director Chen Guan nodded and said: ”I think Mr. Jiang has a point.”

”Look at the symmetrical damage on the inner and outer lip mucosa.”

”If it were fish gnawing, I doubt it would be such a coincidence?”

”Besides, even if it’s fish gnawing, fish mouths are quite different from normal human mouths.”

Director Hou also pondered for a while and said: ”I agree with Mr. Jiang’s view.”

”Regarding this corpse, we can’t simply use general animal gnawing to explain.”

”The damage on these concealed parts of the corpse needs human intervention for a better explanation.”

Upon hearing this, Qin Feng asked: ”This complicates things! We’ve never faced such issues before.”

”Is the perpetrator a pervert?”

Jiang An replied: ”Whether a pervert, we can’t determine that now.”

”Later, take samples from the deceased’s lower body to test for male components.”

After a slight pause, Jiang An continued: ”This deceased’s knee and elbow have clear subcutaneous bleeding, which is consistent with impact in a bathroom against walls and floors.”

Then, he suddenly turned his gaze to the deceased’s side, signaling the young forensic examiner: ”Look at the right side of the deceased’s body, why is there a large area showing livor mortis?”

Speaking, the young forensic examiner immediately turned the deceased from the right to the left, making the deceased lie sideways.

Sure enough, on the deceased’s right side, there were multiple patches of dark red changes.

”This is strange, is it livor mortis?” Qin Feng asked.

The young forensic examiner nodded: ”This is livor mortis.”

Jiang An also said: ”It’s livor mortis indeed, but its location is somewhat anomalous.”

”Under normal circumstances, water doesn’t lead to livor mortis. Even if it forms, it should appear on the deceased’s back or front.”

”How did it suddenly appear on the side?”

These words made everyone tense.

The young forensic examiner also appeared puzzled and said: ”Exactly.”

”For water corpses, I’ve examined many cases, the likelihood of livor mortis is small.”

”And side livor mortis is even less likely.”

Then, Jiang An nodded and said: ”Based on the principle of livor mortis, the deceased should have been lying on the right side for a long time after death for it to form livor mortis there.”

After observing for a while, Jiang An said: ”Look at the state of this livor mortis, it’s rather odd.”

”The livor mortis on the chest and abdomen shows a clear sign of compression.”

These words got the young forensic examiner to take a closer look, raise his hand and point: ”Mr. Jiang, are you talking about this on the abdomen?”

Jiang An said: ”This area should be level with the side livor mortis, but the abdomen shows columnar compression marks.”

He analyzed: ”This compression mark... should be caused by the thigh compressing the abdomen.”

These words left everyone a bit surprised.

After thinking for a while, the young forensic examiner quickly said: ”Mr. Jiang, do you mean... was he curled up after death for a long time?”

At this point, others hadn’t yet reacted.

Deputy Director Chen Guan appeared anxious, asking: ”What do you mean? You’re being so professional, we outsiders can’t understand.”

Jiang An said: ”I mean, after death, this deceased should have been in a curled-up posture.”

”This curled-up posture likely formed during transportation.”

Chen Guan asked: ”Could it have been formed by a box?”

Jiang An nodded: ”It’s possible.”

”According to the distribution of the deceased’s livor mortis, I suspect he was transported out of the bathroom inside a box.”

”This livor mortis state was formed inside the box.”
