The Forensic Doctor Better Than a Detective

Immediately, they focused their investigation on the bathroom.

You have to know, the place where the killer and the victim fought most fiercely is often the most likely to have trace evidence left behind.

This is why Jiang An kept emphasizing earlier— the bathroom is the key area for investigation.

At this moment, everyone stood at the bathroom door.

In accordance with the sequence of investigation protocols, it was the task of the trace photography personnel to photograph and fix all situations of the scene first.

This step is extremely important in all scene investigations.

Because once the items at the scene are moved, they cannot be completely restored.

As the saying goes, ”A good memory is not as reliable as a worn-out notebook.” If this case becomes a cold case and remains unsolved for years, they can conduct scene discussions using the original photos.

The trace photography technician held the camera and clicked, while Jiang An, Director Hou, and Chen Guan were the first to enter.

At this time, Jiang An began to carefully observe all the items inside the bathroom.

There were many scattered items on the floor, so he turned to the young technician and said, ”Mark and record the items on the floor one by one.”

”Okay, Mr. Jiang, I will do it right away.”

Soon after, two young officers put on gloves and began marking the items on the floor, placing marker cards.

Not long after, seeing two piles of clothes on the floor, Jiang An said, ”Clear these clothes and see exactly what they are.”

The young officers cleared the clothes, saying as they did, ”Two pairs of underwear, a bra, and a T-shirt.”

”Two pairs of underwear?”

He paused, ”That’s not surprising because there were two people inside.”

However, just as he finished speaking, Jiang An said, ”Look at the crotches of these two pairs of underwear.”

”The crotch?”

Hearing this, the young officer, though a bit puzzled, still did as told.

He exposed the crotches of the underwear separately.

”Strange! One is very clean, while the other has some white stuff.”

Upon hearing this, Jiang An said, ”That white stuff should be female discharge.”

”The underwear without the white spots should be relatively clean.”

”Could it be that the missing girl might have been taking a shower here?”

Mr. Chen stepped forward, voicing his inner deduction.

Director Hou nodded as well, ”We can’t rule out this possibility.”

”Look, the heating lamp is still on, and the other girl, He Qian, is missing and cannot be contacted.”

Then, Mr. Chen let his imagination run, ”If that’s the case, doesn’t it indicate that He Qian was showering in the bathroom, then encountered the killer and fought, which is a strong possibility.”

”Look at the scattered items on the floor, there is shampoo and some towels.”

”Also, it’s obvious that one pair of underwear has been washed, while the other one was worn and then taken off.”

”So, at the time, the other girl should have been in a showering state.”

Following this line of thinking, Mr. Chen said, ”If so, doesn’t it indicate that the killer’s primary purpose in coming inside was He Qian?”

”Then what about the other girl?”

”Could she have been discovered accidentally while opening the door and then killed at the entrance?”

The young officer eagerly expressed his thoughts, ”In this case, the real intention of the killer was to kill He Qian, who was taking a shower.”

Mr. Chen nodded, ”That being said, doesn’t the motive for the crime become clear? The killer’s purpose was to murder He Qian in the room.”

Thinking of this, Vice Director Chen was filled with excitement as if he had discovered a major breakthrough.

Earlier, they were still considering what the motive for this case could be.

No property was missing inside, there were no external injuries on the deceased, nor were there any signs of assault.

But now, it seems that if the killer’s motive was directly to kill He Qian while she was showering, does everything make sense?

After all, the girl on the sofa was merely an obstacle during the process of opening the door, not the primary target of the killer.

After a while, Director Hou nodded and said, ”Such a fierce fight occurred here, indicating that the killer’s intent was very clear, and not much damage was inflicted on the girl on the sofa.”

Listening to Mr. Chen and Director Hou’s heated discussion, Jiang An was also thinking quickly.

He turned to look at the sofa and then looked at the entrance.

If the target of the killer was the girl having a shower, doesn’t that seem too coincidental?

Did the killer know that this girl was showering when they came in to kill?

Additionally, the other deceased was lying on the sofa, and the sofa was nearly ten meters from the entrance.

You have to understand, carrying a living person is not easy.

If a body is moved to another place, it is a very difficult task.

Thinking of this, Jiang An doubted the conclusion they had just reached.

According to common sense, if the killer’s purpose was to murder the showering He Qian, then what role did the other girl play?

If she was merely used as a barricade while opening the door and was killed.

Was it necessary for the killer to place the body on the sofa?

Thinking of this, Jiang An felt there was a great contradiction between these setups.

At that moment, Mr. Chen turned around and said, ”The crime scene should be like this, the killer’s purpose was to murder He Qian in the bathroom, but because the roommate opened the door, she was killed first, and after killing this girl, the body was moved.”
