Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1298: Chapter 1298: Something Too Embarrassing to Mention

Next door, Feng Yuzhi looked on with envy.

Looking at herself, her son wasn’t married, her daughter wasn’t married; dreaming of holding a grandchild was pure fantasy!

Feng Yuzhi became anxious and began urging Yan Ye, but Yan Ye showed no response, so she started to push Yan Huan to reconsider that rascal and see if there was any chance of easing the situation.

Yan Huan thought for a long time and felt rather wronged. Initially, her relationship with Cheng Yue was still vague, with neither having expressed anything or making anything clear.

There were mutual feelings between them.

This kind of feeling was quite pleasant; they should just let this ambiguity continue for a while until their feelings were clear, and then discuss other matters!

If Cheng Yue had no feelings for her, then he wouldn’t need to tell her anything and just avoid seeing her, she would probably understand what that meant.

But he had put the cart before the horse.

They hadn’t even started dating properly when he came over to discuss whether they would live in Nancheng or Jiangning in the future.

Now, there was no need for their relationship to start, as reality had cruelly cut it short.

Yan Huan had barely managed to go home for a weekend to rest for a day when Feng Yuzhi pushed her out the door early in the morning. This time, she was not in the mood to dress up and went directly to the Ning Family.

Today was An Hao’s prenatal checkup day. Last time, it was more than enough that Yan Huan accompanied An Hao there.

So, today, without waiting for An Hao to urge her, she took the initiative to visit.

It happened that An Hao was also ready to leave, so the two of them went out together.

At the military hospital, Yan Huan went to find Cheng Yue in the emergency department, and An Hao went for her checkup alone.

The ultrasound results were very good; the baby was healthy with no issues, and An Hao’s body was also fine. The doctor advised her to rest more, watch her diet, and not eat too much. As long as the nutrition was sufficient, it would save her from suffering during childbirth.

Hearing the doctor’s words, An Hao was relieved, as long as the baby was healthy.

”Next!” After examining An Hao, the doctor immediately called in the next patient.

”Wait, Doctor! I still have some questions that I haven’t finished asking,” An Hao hurriedly said.

”Okay. Go ahead. What other questions do you have?” the doctor asked, smiling at An Hao.

”It’s like this...” An Hao hadn’t even started speaking when her face turned red, her cheeks blushing like the glowing clouds at sunset.

”Hmm?” Seeing her hesitate and stammer, as if she was trying to reveal a difficult truth but was held back by embarrassment, the doctor smiled and said, ”You can ask me anything. Don’t hesitate! You can trust me!”

”Alright,” An Hao swallowed nervously, her face red as she spoke about the issue that had troubled her for many days. ”After getting pregnant, I’ve found that my desires have grown stronger... you know... in that area... uncontrollably so.”

After speaking, she blushed even more.

Back when she could handle a scalpel and dissect a corpse without blushing, but facing her own issues, she just...

The doctor chuckled lightly: ”That’s normal! Don’t worry, there’s no need to feel ashamed! Avoid the first three months and the last three months, you can handle the middle period carefully. But make sure to be careful!”

”Yes. Thank you, doctor!” An Hao stood up with a flushed face and left the examination room. She headed to the emergency department on the first floor to find Yan Huan.

.........

First floor, emergency department.

In the hallway, Cheng Yue was standing there in his white coat, with a young nurse standing in front of him, her face red as she confessed her feelings to him.
