Sweet Nostalgia of the 80s

Chapter 1254: Chapter 1254: A Different Kind of Scenery

”Don’t!” An Hao stretched out her hands and firmly pushed against his chest, her eyes shyly amused as she looked at him, ”Wait a bit longer...”

”Wait until when?” Qin Jian watched her with barely contained impatience.

”Until the baby is born. I... always worry a bit... could you please bear with it for now?” An Hao’s voice was soft, her gaze pleading; she truly dared not.

Fearful that something might happen to the two treasures.

Qin Jian looked at An Hao for a while, then nodded: ”I’ll listen to you. If you’re worried, I’ll refrain. Nothing is more important than you and the child.”

”Thank you.” An Hao embraced his cheeks, her soft lips capturing his in a slow kiss.

”Ah... If you keep teasing me this way, I really can’t guarantee that the Great Wall I’ve just built in my mind won’t be toppled by your kiss,” Qin Jian said as he let go of An Hao and kissed her forehead before getting up to head for the bathroom.

After a cold shower, the flame in his heart was extinguished.

When he returned to bed, An Hao was already in a drowsy slumber. He gently lifted a corner of the blanket and slipped in, wrapping his arms around her from behind, his large hands resting on her belly.

The two little lives in her stomach seemed to feel their father’s touch and happily kicked their little legs. Qin Jian’s mouth gently curved, and he whispered, ”Baby, good night!”

As morning dawned, a ray of sunlight pierced through the thin white curtains, casting a bright and warm patch on the ground.

An Hao opened her eyes and turned over, only to find that he was no longer by her side.

From the bathroom came the sound of running water, and by the time she sat up in bed, Qin Jian had already come out.

He was only wearing a pair of green army shorts, his upper body’s muscular contours bulging and firm. Droplets of water slowly slid down his well-developed chest, refracting dazzling light in the sun. After drying off, he turned and went back into the bathroom to put away the towel, leaving his broad and sexy back to An Hao.

Her gaze followed the distinct lines of his body downward, finally resting on his straight, powerful legs.

At that moment, An Hao’s heart fluttered slightly, a wild commotion stirred within her, and a different kind of feeling spread across her heart.

It seemed her own desire was also growing stronger!

Seeing this ’springtime scene’ early in the morning, her heart couldn’t help but ripple endlessly.

What was the reason?

Could it be because of the pregnancy? Even these thoughts were becoming stronger?

While she was lost in her musings, Qin Jian had already put on his shirt and trousers. A flicker of regret and annoyance passed across An Hao’s eyes, but that fleeting leak of emotion was precisely captured by Qin Jian.

”What’s the matter? Didn’t get enough of a look?” He wore a pleased smile, clearly enjoying the slightly greedy gaze An Hao had just given him.

”Mhm,” An Hao nodded unwittingly, only to realize what she’d done as her cheeks flushed red.

Why did she feel somewhat lecherous?

Qin Jian was very satisfied with her response. He strode forward and violently undid the buttons of his shirt, exposing a large expanse of his smooth, wheat-colored chest to her: ”Look, look all you want. And not just look, you can touch too.”

An Hao turned her head away and huffed, ”Refused! Get away from me now! And what are you doing taking a bath so early in the morning? It’s not summer. Three times a day.”

Qin Jian chuckled: ”You’re the one to ask about that. With temptation in front of me that I can only look at but not taste, of course, I need to take a few cold showers to cool off.”
