I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 398 - 398 388 Naming Waste398: Chapter 388: Naming Waste 398: Chapter 388: Naming Waste Having mastered the Brown Bear form, Mu Ying was ready to leave the orchard.

Before leaving, Mu Ying gave all the sweets from the Space Ring to Big Brown Bear.

Back at the plantation, Mu Ying began to tally up the Trial Time she had accumulated over the past few days, planning to use it all up.

While cultivating the Brown Bear form during these days, she had accumulated a total of 30 hours of Trial Time.

If she were to stay in the Trial World day and night, it would be used up in a little over a day.

However, spending that much time in the Trial World, almost two months, would disconnect her too long from reality, which wasn’t good.

Mu Ying calculated and decided to spend an extra three hours per day in the Trial World, which along with the new three hours exchanged daily, would balance out in about ten days.

This way, she could still spend time daily at the Undersea Planting Camp cultivating new plants and gradually accumulate Professional Experience.

Moreover, expanding the area of vegetation care around her territory, and moving up the schedule to strengthen the Guardian Armor were essential.

For her current self, although there weren’t many Experience Value rewards, by slowly increasing engagement, she could enhance her influence over the land, a plan Mu Ying called her “Turtle Shell Plan.”

Focusing on the territory, by nourishing the land, planting and caring for plants, protecting them, she planned to make her “Turtle Shell” bigger and thicker, ultimately making herself invincible on this land.

Just thinking about it was exciting!

Mu Ying felt a tug at her coat and looked down to see that Little Stone’s avatar had bitten into her outer robe, swaying as it pulled her outside.

“What’s wrong?” Mu Ying asked, confused.

After figuring out what Little Stone meant, she asked in surprise, “Grew bigger again?”

Mu Ying felt a stirring in her heart; no way, had it grown another year so quickly?

When she had reached level 8, Little Stone had just recovered from a previously malnourished body and had begun to truly grow.

It had eaten stone powder for just a few days and grown to one year old, sprouting its first house, which Mu Ying had turned into a Damage Test House.

Not long after it resumed eating stones, it reached two years old.

The number of houses it could grow changed from one to unlimited.

The more it ate, the more houses it could grow.

Since all were made of stone, Mu Ying didn’t bother too much and simply expanded the original Damage Test House a bit, turning it into a test house for each profession, while Little Stone was responsible for synchronizing and updating the leaderboard on the outer walls of the test houses.

With these changes told to Little Stone, it could grow on its own, so Mu Ying hardly worried about it.

Because it was just an expansion and the Vampire incident diverted everyone’s attention, not only was there little discussion among the players, but Mu Ying also didn’t pay much attention to it.

And now, it had grown another year?

Mu Ying hurriedly teleported to the place where Little Stone’s stones were piled.

The stone plate had already reached the bottom, rectangular in shape, with a corridor inside, and the core of the Underground City had changed somewhat from before with eleven rooms.

If previously it looked like a somewhat crude stone building model, now it looked like an exquisite little decoration.

The stone blocks were clearly distinguishable, denser and more robust, and the doorframes and stone brick walls inside the rooms were decorated with patterns of various colored Crystal Flowers.

Judging by the color, these must have come from the occasional feedings of Crystal Coral by Mu Ying.

However, she had started feeding them a while ago, yet these patterns had only just appeared.

Little Stone, as if equipped with springs, started hopping joyfully near its core: Name paper!

Name paper!

“Don’t you have a name?” Mu Ying said, while summoning the Player Manual and flipping to the Underground City page, which now had several new items.

First was a naming option.

[Underground City: Unnamed](Underground City baby is 3 years old now, and a competent mom should give it a meaningful name already!)

No wonder Little Stone kept shouting “name,” “name”!

It turns out the nickname I gave him, “Little Stone,” now needs a formal name.

Indeed, look at the prestigious sounding “Guland Underground City,” which is not even in the same league as “Little Stone.”

Naming exhausted Mu Ying sighed, wondering what a good name could be.

Initially, I confidently used a local geographic name and named the territory “Qingshan.”

Until I saw a forum post titled “Inventory of Main Territory Names in Xia Country Region,” Xi thought her choice of names was very pleasant-sounding and suitable for the environment and character of her territory.

I never expected the author ranked the four main territories in Xia Country Region, putting her Qingshan Town at the bottom due to its overly plain name.

This time, I must redeem myself from that humiliation!

Refer to how others name things, like ‘Guland Underground City’ and ‘Luoxia Town,’ which are considered to have the most beautiful names, all named after their city or territory lords.

“Wood City?”

“Ying City?”

“Mu Ying City??”

“Ugh~” Mu Ying shook her head; it sounded weird.

Forget it, let’s not trouble myself; just copy others.

She has that huge Trial World, and she’s the only one from the real world; a ready-made naming repository.

Considering how Little Stone itself crafted crystal patterns, why not call it “Crystal City”?

“From now on, your formal name will be ‘Crystal’!” Mu Ying told Little Stone.

Little Stone was ecstatic, jumping on the ground, “duang~duang,” and with its approval, a few more crystal patterns appeared on its avatars.

In the first column, under the Underground City’s name, the word “Crystal” appeared.

Mu Ying felt this time she definitely couldn’t be too wrong, considering Crystal City in the Emerald World had never been criticized by mermaids for its name.

Late,r she would feed it more crystals, add more crystal decorations to make it even more worthy of the name.

Continuing to read on.

[Age: 3 years](3 years old now, main food is needed, and occasionally some nutritious light meals!)

Mu Ying understood what the “Underground City Feeding Manual” stated: beginning at three years old, the diet of underground cities expands greatly, including all construction materials, stone, minerals, and even wood, all of which it could now consume.

However, feeding cannot be done like with Gungun, indiscriminately eating anything because the growth of an underground city, which means expansion, requires specific amounts of materials.

For instance, if you want to expand a stone house, it has to eat enough stone, and if you want a metal door for the stone house, you need to add some iron to its diet.

But none of these count as “nutrition”; they merely enable it to grow more rooms and buildings.

From now on, Little Stone will not feel hungry without stone to eat.

Eating more stones will result in more stone houses, a larger core; less stone will only mean a smaller area.

So, such food should still be given according to the planned amount of materials needed for the building expansion, otherwise, the unused materials could cause indigestion.

If it gets too much to digest, you’d have to use up unused materials before feeding more.
