There were also those who staged accidents on the road, pretending to trip and fall onto someone, pulling out the other person’s hair.

Such tricks proved quite effective against those male vampires.

However, it was difficult to collect such materials from Sharon.

Nevertheless, a core member of Nie Ying’s team came up with a solution, investing a significant sum to hire Tongbi 559 for some nail polish.

Then they set up a stall in the tavern to do manicures for people.

There were quite a few plants in their team who went there to support the scene.

Sharon wasn’t inexperienced and cared a lot about her appearance; she knew about nail polish and used it herself, always wearing blood-red.

But this manicurist could paint on nails, creating designs far more elegant and beautiful than Sharon’s plain colored nails.

Wasn’t this her falling right into the trap?

So the manicurist openly trimmed Sharon’s nails.

From the fact that she didn’t collect her nail clippings, it was clear that she didn’t know much about Druids’ Detecting Skill.

Otherwise, knowing about detecting skill, she definitely wouldn’t have left her personal items out in the open.

These nail clippings turned out to be the biggest haul over that period.

With these objects related to a vampire, Mu Ying’s success rate at using the Detecting Skill was greatly increased.

Still, she cautiously started practicing with the weaker male vampires.

Sometimes the detecting was successful, sometimes it failed, but they never noticed.

When successful, it didn’t always provide valuable information.

Sometimes she saw them sleeping in pitch-black coffins, sometimes she saw them feeding in front of a blood pool, most of it was useless information.

The only valuable information was that underneath Bone Castle there seemed to be an underground tomb, where their hibernation coffins were kept; however, she didn’t see Sharon’s coffin or hibernation place.

But Mu Ying guessed it was probably there, as it seemed relatively safe for now.

They each also had a room in Bone Castle above, equipped with coffins, but they merely spent some time there and generally didn’t hibernate there.

The coffins upstairs were likely just a decoy; the actual hibernation place being underground made perfect sense.

Only after she became proficient with her detecting skill on the male vampires did she intermittently start using the Detecting Skill on Sharon.

The spellcasting materials collected beforehand were a tremendous help to her spells.

Mu Ying’s knowledge about her gradually deepened.

With every bit of understanding gained, the next usage of the Detecting Skill became easier.

Two weeks before the half-year agreement was due, Mu Ying finally received a Dingling Flower phone call from the Magic Potion Teacher, informing her of the final research results.

The final formula, along with a sample of the herbs and seeds, was sent out that day.

A week later in the Emerald World, she received the package from the Magic Potion Teacher.

It included the formula for the “Soft Bones Potion,” precautions for preparation, ten sets of herbal samples, and the seeds and planting methods needed for the potion’s herbs.

This magic potion was a highly toxic one; once blood came into contact with the liquid, the toxin would enter the bloodstream and reach the bone marrow, slowly causing it to soften and die.

Any creature contaminated with the blood containing the Soft Bones Potion would also become a carrier of the infection.

However, the magic potion had one flaw: it only worked on smaller skeletons.

The process of the potion softening the bones was peculiar.

When the toxin hit the bones, it didn’t take immediate effect but first clung to the bones, growing rapidly until it enveloped them completely; only then would it instantly soften and destroy the bones.

Once it attached to the bones, the activity level of the poison continuously decreased; if it couldn’t envelop the bones before the activity expired, it wouldn’t have any effect.

However, the potency of the toxin lurking in flowing blood could last for a long time, ensuring its highly contagious nature, but once the blood coagulated, the toxin would be gone.

Moreover, this potion targeted the skeleton, not life itself, hitting Blood Crow’s weak spot directly.

Whether Blood Crow lives or dies wasn’t very important, as they were undead creatures, essentially animated corpses.

Destroying their bodies and rendering them immobile was truly the best solution to deal with them.
