I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 363 - 363 357 Embraced from Both Sides363: Chapter 357: Embraced from Both Sides 363: Chapter 357: Embraced from Both Sides “Don’t worry, I got it,” Mu Ying said seriously.

Da Ming was held by her for a while and then jumped down to the ground, calling out.

After running a few steps, he came back to look at her; seeing she hadn’t moved, he anxiously cried out, “Chirp chirp chiru!”

Mu Ying shook her head and followed him.

Then Da Ming gathered his little brothers No.

1, 2, and 3 and majestically climbed the training rack.

“He’s showing off the fruits of his training to you.

What a good child!” Zheng Jing remarked emotionally.

“Praise him a lot after the performance.

He’ll be happier, and he will train even harder because he’s eager to help you soon.”

Mu Ying inexplicably felt like a mom watching her child earnestly perform at a kindergarten program.

Seeing him fluttering his wings, gliding further and more steadily than the other little griffins and then landing with his shiny little eyes expectantly fixed on her made Mu Ying feel both amused and proud.

“Wonderful!” Mu Ying rewarded him by creating a Water Ball mixed with the Recovery Spring for him to sip.

Da Ming clearly remembered the delicious little water ball.

As Mu Ying crouched down and pushed the formed water ball toward him, he eagerly stretched his neck out and dipped his sharp little beak into it.

He drank with immense joy and pride.

Little brothers: The big brother is silly, getting so happy over some water!

Zheng Jing: Poor Da Ming, he must be so starved for affection to be this happy just from getting some water from his Master.

After Da Ming finished drinking, Mu Ying had Zheng Jing bring her a sheep to practice the Transformation Skill.

Considering the future size and training needs of the griffins, the Griffin District was quite spacious, and it was specifically fashioned into a valley using stone materials, blocking the surrounding views, making it a rather enclosed space.

Training here meant they didn’t have to worry about being seen and the news reaching Sharon.

This would make her surprise attack effective later on.

Da Ming, too, was well-behaved.

Seeing his Master also striving to learn, he quietly increased the training regimen for himself and his little brothers.

The three poor little griffins had their initial temper completely ground out of them.

Being disobedient meant not only going hungry but also facing Da Ming’s merciless torment.

Eventually, they learned to behave.

Still, their compliance was passive; they were far from tame.

Mu Ying had just tried to turn the sheep into a turtle but wasn’t very skilled yet.

After failing, she thought hard about where last time’s Spell Casting needed improvement.

She didn’t pay much attention to Da Ming and the others.

When her Mana Value was spent and she had to stop practicing to take Da Ming home, she found the four little ones exhausted, motionless on the ground.

“You’re still growing, don’t overwork yourselves and hurt your bodies,” Mu Ying admonished as she pulled them up to sit, using the last bit of her Mana to make one large Water Ball with all the remaining Recovery Spring, “Drink and replenish your energy!”

Da Ming rubbed Mu Ying’s arm and blissfully squinted while drinking.

Soon, he heard the others sipping water too.

Seeing him enjoy it so much, his little brothers couldn’t help themselves and took a sip; then it got out of control.

Once they tasted it, they knew it was good for them.

No wonder Da Ming is so strong; it must be because of this water.

They had to fight back!

Da Ming: !!!

He wouldn’t have it, flapping his little wings to push his brothers away, then he sucked fiercely.

The little brothers, unwilling to give up, charged back.

Knowing they were no match for Da Ming, they still exchanged glances, planning to gang up on him.

Watching them get ready to stand up, Mu Ying said, “Drink on your own merit.

Whoever fights again will get nothing!”

Da Ming, with a look of contempt, glanced at his younger siblings and took another fierce couple of sips.

The remaining three little ones huddled near the Water Ball, turning their grief into appetite.

Before long, the Water Ball was drained.

“Chirp chirp!” a Little Griffin hopped on its feet and chirped at Mu Ying, demanding more.

Da Ming flapped his wing to push it away and even pecked at it a few times: What are you joking about, this is his Master, who are you to interrupt?

I’ll peck you into a bald chicken!

Little Griffin: Ծ ̅Ծ

Mu Ying shook her head, “You must listen to Da Ming well to drink from the spring, and you can’t be greedy.”

Although the Little Griffin could not fully understand what she said, it could tell that Mu Ying fully favored Da Ming.

It pouted its little belly sadly.

Having drunk their fill from the spring, Mu Ying picked up Da Ming, made a Dingling Flower call to Zheng Jing, and then personally taught Da Ming how to teleport home.

After several tries, Da Ming finally got the hang of it.

One person and one bird returned to the Plantation, Da Ming seeing it for the first time, curiously and nervously looked around, startled by the Gem Fairies that suddenly popped out.

“Don’t be afraid, these will be your buddies from now on,” Mu Ying introduced them to each other.

The enthusiastic Gem Fairies presented the newcomer with floral wreaths and wild fruits.

The carnivorous Da Ming was stunned.

Though he couldn’t eat the fruits and the floral wreath around his neck felt unfamiliar, he still felt the good intentions of the Gem Fairies.

Gem Fairies, favored by the natural power, not only make plants happy but also easily win the affection of animals, including griffins.

Gungun was not so friendly towards this little guy.

As Mu Ying’s first companion and the one she had raised from a suckling cub herself, its position was unshakable.

The arrival of Da Ming gave it a sense of crisis.

And a griffin is not so easily submissive.

The tension between the two was palpable; although currently Da Ming was just a little one and Gungun completely overshadowed it in size and strength, the wildness and stubbornness of a griffin remained unyielded in Da Ming, who would obey only the master he recognized and none other, adamant to the death.

Mu Ying sternly declared no harming each other, then let it be.

Fighting could also be good, fighting made them healthier, and slowly, it could build affection.

They were all her own cubs; although sometimes naughty, she as their “mom” still had absolute authority.

They would not touch what she forbade.

At night, Mu Ying went to the seaside to watch the tide, leaving the little ones at home to play.

When she returned, both Gungun and Da Ming were unharmed, just a few tufts of fur were on the carpet.

Upon seeing her return, they all rushed up to her, cuddling and competing for affection, even trying to trip each other up.

Surrounded by their fluffy bodies, Mu Ying blinked, rubbed them, and felt overwhelmed with happiness.

Suddenly, she felt that the cubs’ discord was a good thing, having a sense of competition made her as their “mom” even more popular.

Especially Gungun, who grew more cunning as it got older, such clingy moments were rare.

Mu Ying, lavishing love on both, felt immense joy.
