I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 361 - 361 355 Spell Casting Target361: Chapter 355: Spell Casting Target 361: Chapter 355: Spell Casting Target This comment from the fake Atom made Mu Ying laugh again.

Atom’s information was only slightly more than that of the eighth unidentified Trialist, his name was widely recognized, but all the forum news about him were rumors.

The man himself had never posted any messages.

Even in Southern Australia, no one had spotted him.

If it weren’t for his perpetual top ranking on Southern Australia Region’s level and achievement leaderboards, few people might have noticed him.

In any case, according to the group effort of Southern Australia’s player community’s human flesh search, he was probably a college student before the apocalypse, the kind who naturally had a very low presence.

Allegedly, he wasn’t ordinary-looking and could even be considered somewhat handsome, but when he was in a crowd, people would unintentionally ignore him.

Only those classmates of his who were attentive enough to remember his presence and those with keen Perception who noticed something unusual tended to pay special attention to him, thus having a deeper impression of him.

Otherwise, even this bit of information wouldn’t have been dug up.

It seemed that Atom had also stopped frequenting the territories near his school and hometown, so his current whereabouts remained a mystery.

This person was naturally a Wanderer, with low visibility and extraordinary Talent.

The players in Southern Australia all ironically used a fake Atom signature to boost their region’s presence on forums.

His situation was unclear, but he was not a Lord, had no territory to back him, and most likely was a lone wolf player without any teammates—which explained the lack of information about him.

Every Profession has its unique strengths and inherent flaws.

Being a lone wolf, facing various dangers alone, was not easy.

Gaining strength must have been fatally attractive to him.

Moreover, lone wolves have fewer attachments and more freedom to move, making it easier to travel far.

Messages had already been sent.

Whatever happens, happens.

It would be great if they came, but no harm if they didn’t.

Mu Ying closed the Player Manual and started today’s journey in the Trial World.

With the Fish Tail Potion, she no longer needed to torment the little turtle in Moon Lake to practice Transformation Skill.

She practiced directly with the little fish in the sea.

She tried to transform the little fish into little turtles.

One of Mu Ying’s Wild Transformation aquatic animal forms included a sea turtle and the other a freshwater turtle, both were turtles.

She knew the body structure of turtles well, and compared to turning turtles into something else, transforming something else into a turtle was easier.

The Spell Casting made a breakthrough in no time.

After practicing on the little fish for a few days, she felt it was quite smooth to turn them into turtles.

And since they were just regular fish, they had no ability to resist her spells, and after being transformed into turtles, it would take a day or two to revert to their original form without fatal injuries.

“I feel I can try changing the target of my spell casting,” Mu Ying checked the little fellow she had just transformed into a turtle with her Spell, it was perfect, no one could tell it was originally a fish.

“Yingying, why don’t you cast a spell on me?

I haven’t tried being a turtle yet, and there’s no turtle tail in the Fish Tail Potion!” Lobster Tail Lily cooed as she held Mu Ying’s hand and casually cast a Water Tide to help restore a bit of her mana value.

Recently, Lily had completely become addicted to transforming.

Sometimes, there’s only one transformation, and sometimes, there are countless.

Mu Ying still remembered the first time Lily saw her own octopus tentacles, how utterly repulsed she was, and how quickly she had come to adore them.

More fish tail grass had been planted recently, and at the strong recommendation of Lily, representing the Mermaid Clan, to expand cultivation and stock more Fish Tail Potions, a large area of the seabed was dedicated to this cultivation, now barely managing to let every mermaid taste it once.

With Mu Ying’s eight tentacles, she didn’t have the energy to do more.

The mermaids had already coordinated internally and arranged shared purchasing.

Even the wealthier Half-Breeds couldn’t resist buying a bottle of Breathing Potion and a Fish Tail Potion to play in the sea.

Although few players were willing to buy these potions, they were all quite envious, and it indirectly increased their desire to make money.

Even the moonlight clan representative, Luoluo, swore to save money after seeing these two potions.

Which human, raised in a scientific society, could resist these unscientific things?

The ultimate dream of humanity has always been to travel through the sky and dive into the sea, hasn’t it?

The kind that doesn’t rely on any tools – everyone wants to try it.

Even the Mushroom Man, a Race that genuinely hates water, had some fearless individuals sneakily buying potions to experiment with; thankfully, they were just a few excessively curious ones, or else her potions would be even more in demand.

Though she’d made quite a bit of money selling these potions and was thrilled about the profits, she was also happy to see everyone having such fun, but she still rejected Lily’s request to use her to experiment with Transformation Skills.

“Wait until I find a bigger creature to practice on, then I’ll try on you,” Mu Ying was still somewhat apprehensive.

While a failed Transformation Skill casting might not have side effects, using it on someone she knew still gave her psychological barriers.

“Alright,” Lily pouted and reluctantly agreed, “By the way, if you turn me into a turtle, could I crawl on the shore then?”

“...” Realizing that was her idea, Mu Ying shattered her implausible fantasy, “You could crawl onshore, but while you’re a turtle, you would think you are a real turtle, governed by turtle instincts.

Your mermaid will cannot influence your actions at all.

However, once the Transformation Skill wears off, you will remember everything about being a turtle.

You might even recall nibbling on some weeds or insects.”

Lily covered her mouth, her eyes wide with shock and denial—she definitely didn’t want to eat insects!

“Still want to be my spell-casting target?” Mu Ying asked, holding back a laugh.

Lily shook her head repeatedly but quickly changed her mind and nodded.

“I do, but you need to take me to the Lotus Platform to bask in the sun when it’s time.

I want to lie on your back, but please don’t let me eat anything!”

“Haha, we’ll see how you behave!” Mu Ying laughed heartily, teleporting away just as Lily lunged to tickle her.

The destination of her teleportation was the Breeding Camp.

The Breeding Camp was filled with a variety of live targets for spell casting!

There were sheep, cows, rabbits, and some Magic Beasts, plenty for her to challenge more complex Transformation Skills.

She couldn’t just stick to transforming into a turtle; other small animals were also on the list.

Only by diversifying her transformations could she become more proficient with Transformation Skills.

Eventually, she would have to contend with a vampire.

But that was still a secret.

She needed to first discuss with Luoluo and Zheng Jing and arrange a secret practice area where no outsiders were allowed.
