I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 386 - 386 378 Persistent Harassment386: Chapter 378: Persistent Harassment 386: Chapter 378: Persistent Harassment Having understood these things, Mu Ying felt much calmer.

She decided to put the matters of the Guardian Armor aside for now, for later when she had the time, she intended to expand the territory she guarded as much as possible.

Over time, her “turtle shell” would become thicker and thicker.

Eventually, with this layer of protection on this land, she would become invincible.

Having few offensive methods or insufficient power was not a problem at all.

For now, she needed to resolve Sharon’s matter first.

After using the Tide Meditation Method to recover her Mana Value, she began to probe Sharon’s movements again.

It was night by this time, the moment when vampires were the most formidable.

Mu Ying did not plan to provoke trouble needlessly at this time, but even if she didn’t go herself, she still needed to keep a clear grasp of the information.

Today, Sharon had unhesitatingly abandoned the Blood Crow Nest and fled.

Mu Ying guessed that she must have taken her sleeping coffin with her as well.

She knew that it wasn’t easy for a vampire to relocate their deep sleep land.

Moreover, Sharon was only at the Baron level, and she needed to enter deep sleep quite frequently, every three days.

She could only move her deep sleep land within a maximum of three days.

Mu Ying needed to watch where her new deep sleep land was.

It would be best to find the location and destroy it during the day, dealing her a heavy blow directly.

Or she could harass her every day during daylight.

To maintain energy, vampires must feed on blood, and although they can mix and drink other creatures’ blood for temporary relief, human blood is essential.

But the current outdoor environment of Deep Blue Star was not safe for humans, and not to mention the players from Qingshan Town, the people from other nearby camps generally would not venture out at night.

Even if Sharon lowered her feeding requirements, her choices were limited.

And each time Mu Ying attacked, it seemed Sharon recovered quickly, but that was because she was full of energy.

Talent Skills consume energy provided by blood.

If the blood intake is insufficient, recovery ability will drop, and so will the effect of the skills.

If she does not feed on human blood for a long time, unless she remains in a state of deep sleep, a vampire will weaken to the point of being unable to move or even passively falling into a deep sleep.

Mu Ying’s task was to locate Sharon and then prevent her from settling down, slowly finding opportunities to deliver the killing blow.

Having found her direction, Mu Ying was no longer in a hurry.

The images produced by the Detecting Skill revealed Sharon transforming into a Black Crow and flying in the night sky.

Around Qingshan Town, especially the areas to the north, Mu Ying was quite familiar with these terrains.

To the north, when she previously went up to Lingtian Town, she had personally traversed the area in White Wolf Form and Owl Form.

The vicinity of Qingshan Town, especially Qingshan Forest, was a place she frequented; she could almost say she grew up there from a young age and knew it very well.

Viewing the mountains and Forest Land below in the images, Mu Ying recognized that Sharon was flying towards Qingshan Town!

Previously, she had fled to the north.

Could it be that she still wanted to come back for revenge?

Or did she think that the most dangerous place was the safest?

The spell time soon ended, and the image disappeared.

Sharon continued flying south, and Mu Ying did not see where she ultimately landed.

Thinking of letting her fly a bit longer, Mu Ying first used up today’s Trial Time.

Three hours later, she cast the Detecting Skill again.

Perhaps because she had fought a battle today, had successfully used Biological Recognition to probe Sharon’s ability information, and understood Sharon better, the success rate of the Detecting Skill had increased.

This time, Sharon in the screen was still in the form of a Black Crow, flying among a series of Stone Mountains.

Mu Ying looked and said, “Is this heading into the Chaotic Stone Forest?”

The Black Crow in the screen clearly flew differently from before, continuously heading in one direction.

It flew much slower and at a lower altitude, circling around a mountaintop before moving forward.

It seemed as if it was searching for something.

Mu Ying immediately remembered that a vampire’s deep sleep land must be completely devoid of light, and since Sharon couldn’t just build a house, there was only one choice left—a natural cave.

In the densely wooded mountains, if you’re unfamiliar with the terrain, finding a natural cave would depend purely on luck, and even then, you might not find one.

Thinking this, the exposed stone mountains on the side of the Chaotic Stone Forest indeed seemed easier to search.

And there were indeed quite a few natural caves there.

Especially near Griffin Cliff.

Originally, many griffins lived directly in natural stone caves on the cliffs, and if the caves or indentations were not deep enough, they extended outward with nests made of branches.

Knowing that Sharon might be planning to settle in the Chaotic Stone Forest, Mu Ying watched her actions even more closely.

If a spell failed, she’d cast another, and to avoid wasting Mana Value and missing critical information due to insufficient mana, she even used Sharon’s nails as Spell Casting Materials.

In the end, she watched helplessly as Sharon approached Griffin Cliff and then chose a cave in the middle of the cliffs with a narrow entrance but considerable depth.

Because the entrance was narrow, this cave had not been occupied by griffins, though there was an abandoned griffin nest just outside the entrance.

It was indeed a well-hidden location.

Mu Ying, eager for an opportunity, had visited Griffin Cliff so many times and yet had never noticed this concealed cave.

The griffins really had it rough; the Blood Crows had caused so many griffin couples to be separated by life and death and had caused the death of countless griffin eggs and little griffins that they had to migrate far away to find new places to settle.

But now, their old home was being used as a sanctuary by their enemy.

Although this place was indeed well-hidden, its secrecy was compromised since she had seen it.

When she saw Sharon lay a layer of soil in the deepest part of that pitch-black cave and then place a coffin on top of the soil, Mu Ying was relieved.

She was setting up her deep sleep land.

After setting up her resting place, Sharon lay down in the coffin, and everything went dark.

Mu Ying was also relieved, then she cancelled the spell and went to rest peacefully, planning to go stealing tomorrow!

The next morning, she probed again with her Detecting Skill; it was still pitch-black, and Sharon had not come out!

After being busy at Harbor Camp for half a day, she came to check at noon, and Sharon still hadn’t emerged.

She had planned to see when Sharon would come out during the day and then go directly to destroy her resting place, further weakening her.

A deep sleep land cannot just be moved at will; otherwise, it would be safer to carry it around in a Space Ring, right?

There are limited times one can move a deep sleep land within a certain period, and forcibly moving it impacts the effectiveness of the deep sleep land, requiring more time to return to its original state.

But Sharon slept for a whole day and night without any sign, making Mu Ying lose her patience.

It wasn’t until nightfall the next day that, using her Detecting Skill to probe, Mu Ying finally saw Sharon leave the cave.
