I Live on the Land in Global Games

Chapter 375 - 375 367 In a Difficult Position375: Chapter 367: In a Difficult Position 375: Chapter 367: In a Difficult Position Sharon went round and round, and as expected, she finally stopped beside Mu Ying’s treehouse.

Mu Ying confirmed that she could indeed track her servant’s location and transported back into the treehouse.

The seven little turtles were still lying in the tank, completely unaware that their master was looking for them.

Without waiting for Sharon to knock, Mu Ying opened a window beside the living room, which looked out onto the tree where Sharon, in the form of a crow, was currently standing.

“Do you still like the gift I sent you?” Mu Ying struck first, irritating without taking responsibility.

Sharon transformed back into human form and stood on the treetop, looking down at her, “I underestimated you.

But what use is there in capturing them?

Such fellows, if I want to create a few, I’ll just create a few.

Even if you kill them, it’s just a trivial matter for me.

Besides, they’re still fine, aren’t they!

In the end, you still fear me; otherwise, you wouldn’t have gone through so much trouble to capture them in an attempt to weaken my strength.

But this time, you’ve truly angered me.”

She spoke so indifferently, yet her heart didn’t feel the same; she was not like those tasteless vampires.

The skin of each of her servants was carefully and meticulously chosen by her.

If they were destroyed so quietly, in a manner she had never anticipated, by prey she considered impossible to turn the tables, it would hurt her deeply.

Even if the servants were but her collectibles and playthings, they were not for others to touch!

“Create a few whenever you want?

Converting vampires is easy, but training them to level 8 is not so simple, right?

How much time would it need?

One year?

Two years?

Maybe three years?

Probably even more!

In one year, I rose from a non-professional to a level 8 Druid; if you wait a few more years, it will be you who should be afraid.

Perhaps you’ve slept for too long, and your brain has rusted?

You see me as prey, but have you ever thought that I also see you as prey?”

Since they had torn their façade apart, Mu Ying no longer had to feign subservience.

“Let’s see who catches whom first then.

I can give up my servants, can you give up your local people?

I’m waiting for the day you beg me to bite you,” Sharon declared fiercely.

“There’s no need to see you out!” Mu Ying said and, with a snap, closed the window.

Then, grabbing Gungun, she transported to the entrance of the Harbor Camp on her Flying Carpet.

It didn’t take long for Sharon to teleport there as well.

Her expression was far from the nonchalance she displayed earlier.

Mu Ying patted Gungun, signaling to him to get ready.

Gungun, full of confidence, had already conjured a ripe tomato, which he held in his hand.

To suit the status of a Pure-blooded Vampire, he even made sure the juice looked just like blood—how thoughtful!

The moment Sharon stepped out of the gate of the Harbor Camp, Gungun immediately hurled the tomato.

Suddenly Sharon felt something amiss, as if being watched—her intuition in this regard was always sharp.

She instantly turned around.

She saw a red tomato flying straight toward her, already very close.

Disdainfully, she waved her hand to deflect it.

Unexpectedly, the tomato was so ripe it burst upon contact; even though she dodged backwards, some of it still splattered on her arm.

A plump Iron-eating Beast leaped off the Flying Carpet, wiggling its butt with a teasing and infuriating posture, holding another tomato in each hand that looked exactly like the one that had just been thrown, as good as saying outright that it was the one who threw it.

On seeing it, repulsion surged through Sharon immediately, accompanied by an urge to rush over and kill it then and there.

But she quickly collected herself, realizing she, too, possessed Charming Ability; the feeling was all too familiar—it was psychic interference, and the foe’s intensity wasn’t that strong, which lead her to sense something was wrong.

She immediately thought of the tomato that had burst so strangely.

It was the tomato juice!

Grinding her teeth, Sharon took out a handkerchief to wipe off the tomato juice and the sensation of losing control over herself immediately disappeared.

Gungun saw that she wasn’t attracted to him, and immediately used both hands to throw the tomato in his hand.

At that moment, Sharon of course would not let the tomato hit her again, and swiftly dodged away.

Her agility Attributes were quite impressive.

Seeing the action of his throw, she could predict the trajectory of the tomato and evade it without any pressure.

Mu Ying saw that Sharon had already seen through Gungun’s taunting Skill, and immediately decided to cast a Spell directly, preparing a Spell while she was dodging the tomato.

Once Sharon stabilized herself, a glow enveloped her body.

She felt a life-filled energy compressing and pulling at her body.

No matter how she dodged, she couldn’t escape the annoying effect of the energy.

She sensed the energy’s intent to change her body and used the Power of Death to cover herself, turning into a black Crow before it could affect her.

Sure enough, the effect of the energy was interrupted.

Although Sharon had escaped a disaster, she finally felt threatened.

This raised her level of alertness significantly, and even though the suspected Spell had failed, she still flew away as fast as possible, trying to distance herself from the Harbor Camp.

Mu Ying, of course, would not let her escape, and although her Mana Value was not sufficient to cast any more four-ring Spells, she still had other abilities.

The Green Wood Longbow appeared in her hands in an instant.

She quickly took aim at the black Crow.

A Flame Arrow, like a shooting star, traced a path straight toward the Crow.

Sharon felt a scorching heat behind her followed by a piercing pain.

The Flame Arrow penetrated her, her Crow form’s Life Value dropped to zero, and she was forced to revert to a Vampire in mid-air, with even some lingering flames on the hem of her clothes.

Luckily she wasn’t flying too high, and as she fell from the sky, with her Physical fitness she only ended up a little disgraced, rolling on the sand and extinguishing the flames on her hem.

“Is it amusing to hide and seek?

I know it’s you!

Mu Ying!”

Sharon finally couldn’t maintain her noble and elegant demeanor.

A prey whom she had previously disregarded and played with as a toy was now actually causing her considerable trouble.

She found it hard to accept.

Furthermore, Mu Ying and her annoying Iron-eating Beast had always been within the camp, protected by the protective shield.

This made it impossible for her to counterattack.

Despite being stronger, she could only be passively hit because of this turtle shell-like Territory Shield.

Even so, Mu Ying still did not reveal her shape, not even the Iron-eating Beast from before was seen.

“Come out if you dare!

Cowardly turtle!”

Sharon felt like she was fighting with the air, feeling a sense of being belittled.

Mu Ying had no reaction to her curses; her only answer was another arrow whistling through the air.

Knowing that her strength might be slightly inferior to Sharon’s in a head-on confrontation, she was extremely cautious, weakening her step by step and using the safest method to erode her strength.

This was not shameful, certainly better than being arrogant and reckless and losing one’s life.
