God's Imitator

Qin Yao was somewhat surprised, ”A change in phrasing would make death certain? That’s not quite right, is it? Isn’t Fu Chen’s dad just a teacher or staff member at a gaokao factory?

”Even if this school was really strict with students and there were cases of people jumping off buildings, they wouldn’t necessarily pin all the crimes on him, right?”

Cai Zhiyuan shook his head, ”So this is the part that can be influenced by subtle language techniques.

”Did Peng Hong’s crimes really reach the point where he had to die? Of course not.

”Based on the speculation by the audience member who accused Peng Hong, Peng Hong should have run his own factory or electronics factory, cooperating with some schools and exploiting some intern students.

”Moreover, Peng Xinyuan’s punishment wasn’t severe, indicating that most likely it only involved wage deductions, and there probably weren’t any work injuries or deaths.

”But even so, Peng Hong still received more guilty votes.

”The reason is that the player who accused him connected his ’career’ with ’child education.’

”Two people of the same age, one tightening screws in his factory and having wages deducted, while the other studies overseas, living a privileged life.

”Simply because the latter is his child.”Isn’t Fu Yujun the same?

”He works as a teacher or staff member at a ’gaokao factory’ and most likely manages strictly according to the school’s regulations. His performance pressure also transfers to many children, and this pressure perhaps further harms many children.

”The most serious cases are jumping off buildings, but those who didn’t jump should also have many who suffered serious psychological trauma.

”But he educated Fu Chen very well.

”Although we don’t know Fu Chen’s specific educational background, from previous casual conversations we know he should have attended a good university. And judging from his optimistic, positive attitude, he most likely wasn’t devastated by the ’gaokao factory’ experience.”

Zheng Jie was stunned, ”Huh, how could he not suffer such devastation? If it’s in a gaokao factory region, shouldn’t the entire city or even the entire province be in a similar situation?

”It would be unavoidable if you want to go to university.”

Wang Yongxin thought about it, ”There are two possibilities. The first is that Fu Yujun didn’t care much about Fu Chen’s academic performance, so he sent him to a relatively lenient school he could find nearby.

”But this possibility is relatively low. As a school staff member, Fu Yujun would definitely be very clear about the importance of education. Ordinary high schools in gaokao factory provinces often have poor teaching quality and aren’t good choices.

”The second is gaokao migration.

”Fu Yujun most likely sent Fu Chen to another province. So Fu Chen normally got into university in a relatively lower-pressure environment, and after graduation, based on his own judgment, became a streamer... This is the more likely situation.

”I remember seeing similar news. In gaokao factories, lower-level staff often choose to keep their children in the gaokao factory, but those at high levels, even at the principal level, often choose to go directly the gaokao migration route.

”After all, lower-level staff are assimilated by this model, but those at the top are clearer than anyone about what the essence of this model really is.”

Cai Zhiyuan nodded, ”Mm, this possibility indeed exists.

”It’s just that we can’t see the files and have no way to verify with Fu Chen, so this idea can only remain at the speculation level.

”But in any case, comprehensively analyzing Fu Chen’s personality, learning ability, interpersonal skills, profession and other aspects, Fu Yujun should have been sufficiently open-minded with him.

”But this also forms a stark contrast with Fu Yujun’s professional crimes.

”If these facts were pointed out, could the audience members genuinely feel Fu Yujun was not guilty?

”Between him and Peng Hong, whose crime is more serious?

”From this perspective, although Fu Yujun and Fu Chen, this father and son pair, have similar underlying qualities, they have fundamental differences:

”If Fu Chen were put in Fu Yujun’s position, even if he couldn’t change the current situation of this school, he would definitely resign and leave. He couldn’t possibly keep working in such an environment, much less play the role of part of this system’s management.

”So if we want to bring Fu Yujun over and expect him to become Fu Chen’s replacement, I’m afraid we’ll get results contrary to our wishes in the end.”

Everyone fell into silence.

Zhou Guifen clearly didn’t quite agree with this statement, ”But in the outer field game, Fu Yujun promoted cooperation to the greatest extent possible from beginning to end and helped me a lot.

”Perhaps he can’t do what Fu Chen did, but whether it’s reliability or moral standards, he’s still much higher than the average level in the Gallery, right?”

Cai Zhiyuan explained, ”I’m not saying Fu Yujun is good or bad.

”Let me put it this way: If the Fu Yujun we want to bring over is ’a new player,’ I think it’s completely fine. But if the Fu Yujun we want to bring over is ’Fu Chen’s father,’ I don’t agree.

”But if we bring Auntie Zhou’s child Shen Xing to our community, I completely agree.”

Li Renshu was silent for a moment, ”We’re getting a bit off track. The issue of recruitment involves quite a lot. We’ll find a separate time to discuss it later.

”Regarding the review of this game, are there any other questions?”

Zheng Jie thought about it and summarized, ”I think we’ve pretty much figured it out. This game wasn’t particularly complex. The overall thinking was relatively clear.

”The inner field players’ challenge was more difficult. First, they needed to achieve cooperation as much as possible and find other players to help share their punishments. Second, they had to guess the existence of outer field players and pass information outward as much as possible, hinting at the use of funds. Finally, they had to be calm and collected enough to complete the ’Track in the picture.’

”For outer field players, it was relatively easier. First, outer field players were actually the ones who decided the ’car pen modification plan,’ but they didn’t have all the information and had to judge and speculate by observing inner field players’ behavior. Second, when serving as ’Sharer,’ they needed to be careful with their wording while finding cooperative players to transfer ’opposition votes.’

”As long as they could exchange opposition votes like Fu Yujun and Auntie Zhou, there basically wouldn’t be any big problems.

”My summary doesn’t have any major issues, right?”

Yang Yuting nodded, ”Mm, no problems.

”Overall, the core of this game was ’guessing files.’

”Not only were audience members guessing, inner and outer field players were also guessing. Whoever guessed these players’ identities, professions, and corresponding crimes first could gain the initiative and have a big advantage in winning.

”But not every player performed to their expected level.

”Perhaps some players had files announced every time they encountered judgment-type games before, so they developed path dependency.

”This game didn’t announce the criminals’ files but used content in the game to create reflections throughout. Many players might have been at a loss and left things to fate.”

Everyone fell into silence again.

Dai Yifan, who hadn’t spoken all along, finally spoke when he saw no one else was talking, ”So if we encounter a similar game again, whether it’s judgment-type or elimination-type, we should still consider players’ crimes as much as possible and then think about strategies combined with game mechanisms, right?”

Yang Yuting thought about it, ”Mm, based on the situations we’ve encountered so far, yes. But I’m not sure if there will be changes in the future.”

Wei Yinzhang thought about it, ”There probably won’t be major changes.

”If criminal files are used but the game content isn’t designed around the criminals’ crimes, it most likely doesn’t comply with the Gallery’s fundamental rules and will probably be rejected.”
