Journey to Planar World

One of the Saviors raised his hand—Miguel Antonio from Brazil, with the Cid Kagenou template. His face looked serious, but there was a hint of dissatisfaction in his eyes.

”Is there any special meaning to the numbers on our chairs? Does it indicate the order from strongest to weakest?” He said, folding his arms in front of his chest.

The statement made several other Saviors turn their heads, as if they were questioning the same thing.

Miguel glanced at his chair numbered III, then at Farah Nadia who was in chair number I and Fujita Kazuya in number II. In his opinion, he felt he was stronger than both of them, especially since he had the Cid Kagenou template.

Hearing the question, Gaia just chuckled.

”The numbers on your chairs? They have nothing to do with strength or ranking. It’s just the order in which you were chosen as Saviors, nothing more.” She replied casually.

”...”

Miguel furrowed his brows, clearly not satisfied with the answer. But before he could respond further, Gaia continued proudly.

”But, if you want to know who is the strongest among you right now, the answer is... First place is Charlie Avalon, and second place is Wang Jian.”

The statement surprised almost everyone. Instantly, the Saviors’ gazes were drawn to Charlie who sat calmly. Some of them stared with curiosity, while others—like Miguel—radiated veiled dissatisfaction.

”Charlie Avalon?” Miguel repeated the name softly as if in disbelief.

On the other hand, Wang Jian raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised that his name was mentioned. He turned to Charlie, observing the young man who seemed to be the center of attention of everyone at the moment.

’I’m the strongest right now? Not Wang Jian or Miguel?’ Charlie exclaimed in his heart.

Although Karasuki Rio was strong, he was still a bit lacking compared to Cid Kagenou aka Shadow, who could use a technique called ”I Am Atomic” which had the effect of a nuclear bomb explosion. And don’t even mention Gojo Satoru, none of the Saviors present had a template to break through Infinity.

Alaya, who had been silent all this time, finally spoke.

”You’re lucky, Gaia. Even though you were only given two quotas to choose Saviors, it turns out the choices were the best seeds.”

Although her tone sounded like praise, she said it flatly. Her eyes still emanated the coldness of someone who didn’t care much about emotions.

Hearing her partner’s praise, Gaia smiled widely, enjoying a little praise from Alaya.

”That’s right! Charlie and Wang Jian are amazing. I’m sure they will be the backbone of all of you in this cycle.”

”...”

However, the statement only made the atmosphere in the room heavier. Some Saviors, especially Miguel and Thomas, looked unhappy with the idea that there was someone who was immediately considered superior to them.

”Next question.” Gaia started lightly.

”I have a question.” Wang Jian raised his hand calmly.

Everyone’s gaze now shifted to Wang Jian, the man from China with the Gojo Satoru template, known as the Strongest in the Jujutsu Kaisen series.

”Why can’t I use all of Gojo Satoru’s abilities? No, worse, when I first reincarnated into the Naruto world, I didn’t have that power at all. Do you know, without power, the life of an ordinary person in a world like that is very miserable? I almost died many times if it weren’t for my experience.”

The question made several other Saviors like Miguel, Oscar, and even Charlie nod slowly. Those who had templates of characters with special powers also experienced the same thing.

”Adaptation.” Alaya replied briefly.

Gaia then took over with a more detailed explanation.

”You are not natives of that world. If the original power of your template is not sealed, that world will consider you a threat like the Abyssal Devourer. That world will respond with local power to destroy you. This seal is protection, and also a way for you to adapt to the power system of that world.”

”Then, how can this seal be opened?” Wang Jian asked again.

”The seal will open gradually as you learn the power system of the world you are in. It’s a kind of synchronization process between you and that world.” Gaia answered.

Then she continued with a proud tone.

”Currently, Charlie has opened 60% of his power seal. He is the highest among all of you.”

Once again, Charlie’s name changed the atmosphere in the room. The Saviors looked at him, some with curiosity, others with a little envy. Even Wang Jian stared at him for a long time, as if trying to figure out the man’s secret.

’So that’s it... It seems I have to purify chakra and learn ninjutsu in Konoha. But... my status is a refugee from the Third Ninja World War, there’s no way Konoha will let a mere refugee learn ninjutsu.’

Thinking about his future plans, Wang Jian had a headache. Except for Six Eyes which was a passive ability, he couldn’t access the Limitless Technique.

After Wang Jian, Charlie raised his hand, attracting everyone’s attention in the room.

”I have a question.” He said in a calm tone. All eyes were now on him, considering his reputation and potential that had been mentioned many times before.

”Why can’t I use a fake name? I feel death approaching me if I force myself to use a fake name.”

The question made the other Saviors fall silent for a moment, then they started to exchange glances. Their faces showed that the question also confused them. Some of them even seemed relieved that Charlie had brought it up first.

”Yes. I also feel strange. When I try to introduce myself with another name, there’s a chilling sensation, like the scythe of the Death God is already at my neck.” Wang Jian spoke up, telling a little of his experience. After all, his name was too strange in the Naruto world, where most people use Japanese names.

Farah nodded in agreement, as did Kazuya and Oscar. None of them could avoid that sensation.

Gaia smiled slightly, her casual expression changing slightly to seriousness, something rarely seen.

”That’s a good question, Charlie. And this is one of the most crucial rules for a Savior.”

”Saviors cannot deny their true existence. Your real name is a fundamental part of your existence as an individual.”

”...”

Everyone was silent, waiting for further explanation. Gaia then explained, this time in a more serious tone than usual.

”Existence is the embodiment of everything that represents a person. From essence, soul, dreams, goals, desires, past, present, future, and even information about yourselves. If it were an ordinary person, using a fake name wouldn’t matter, because their existence is still connected to the world they live in. But for you, Saviors, it’s different.”

She glanced at Alaya, who nodded in agreement before adding,

”You are foreign elements in the Planar World. If you deny your real name, it’s the same as denying your own existence. As a consequence, the world you are in will ’reject’ you—literally. You will be destroyed by the natural law of that world itself.”

”...!!!”

The atmosphere became even heavier. The Saviors exchanged glances, now understanding why they always felt threatened when trying to use a fake name.

”That’s why, even if it’s just a joke or a lie, you shouldn’t change your real name. It is the core of your existence as a Savior.” Gaia warned.

Charlie nodded, his expression remained calm although in his heart, he was seriously considering the explanation.

”Thank you for the explanation.”

Gaia nodded back with a smile.

”Next question!”

”...”

However, the room remained silent. No one seemed to want to speak again. Those who hadn’t asked seemed to choose to save that opportunity for later, when they faced a more difficult situation.

After a moment of silence, Gaia looked at Alaya.

”It seems there are no more questions. Should we start now?”

Alaya waved her hand. Suddenly, a large book adorned with golden light appeared and floated in the air in the middle of the room.

”Then, let’s begin your task to save the Planar World.”

Her voice echoed with the firmness that radiated authority.

The Saviors stared at the book with full attention. They knew this would be the beginning of their true journey.
