Journey to Planar World

Gaia and Alaya, these two are very often mentioned in the Type-Moon universe.

Gaia itself is the planet’s desire to survive. Gaia protects all creatures on Earth by using Nature Spirits and Earth creatures.

While Alaya itself is the collective unconscious of humanity and the drive for its overall survival. Alaya constantly keeps humanity from extinction. Individuals around it. When indirect intervention becomes insufficient, Alaya will deploy Counter Guardians or Heroic Spirits.

In conclusion, these two things exist side by side and help the survival of the planet as well as its creatures. However, even so, Gaia will not hesitate to exterminate humanity if their existence threatens the planet. The same applies vice versa.

That’s the information about Gaia and Alaya that Charlie knows.

’Although the two women in front of me claim they are Gaia and Alaya, I don’t think they are the Gaia and Alaya from the Type-Moon universe. Although there are countless parallel worlds in the Type-Moon universe, the jurisdiction of Gaia and Alaya only covers the Type-Moon universe. It’s impossible for the jurisdiction of Gaia and Alaya to reach another universe.’

While listening to Gaia, Charlie thought about many things.

”...”

Meanwhile, Gaia smiled cheerfully, looking at the woman in seat number IV with sparkling eyes.

”Good question, Valentina Claire! The reason we chose those bodies was to give you a head start. After all, your original bodies were not suitable, and trash compared to anime character templates that have great potential to develop into stronger beings in other worlds. They are perfect vessels for your souls to grow.”

”So this is like a cheat in manga and light novels?” Asked the man in seat number II, who looked prominent compared to the others.

His long, spiky red hair was tied in a ponytail, and he wore a red haori over a pale orange nagagi kimono with black umanori-style hakama, like someone from the Sengoku era of Japan.

”I’ve always believed in the law of equivalent exchange. You two are doing this not just out of sympathy, right? There must be something you two want from us.” Said the man in seat number IX cautiously.

Alaya, who had been silent all this time, finally spoke in a cold tone.

”Of course, nothing is free. From now on, you are ours. You will work for us, exterminating the Abyssal Devourer.”

”What is the Abyssal Devourer?”

A question emerged from seat number VI, a young man with a handsome face, fine white hair, and blue eyes as beautiful as a clear sky.

Gaia took over to answer, taking a moment to sigh before speaking.

”The Abyssal Devourer is an entity whose origin is still a mystery. They are dimensional destroyers that appear in any world with one goal: to steal the World Source. They will kill the protagonists and heroines of that world—individuals who will be the center of the world for a while. If the protagonists and heroines die before the Sacred Timeline ends, then the Abyssal Devourer will be easier to control and steal the World Source. If more than 50% of the World Source is lost, that world will experience natural apocalypse.”

”By the way, the Sacred Timeline is a strict script, which means the inhabitants of that world don’t really have free will. Not until the protagonists and heroines fulfill their destiny until the end. Simply put, the Sacred Timeline is the plot of the story. You have to protect the protagonists and heroines from the Abyssal Devourer until they finish the plot of the story, or eliminate the Abyssal Devourer so that the protagonists and heroines are safe even without protection.”

”...”

The room was instantly silent. The information was too heavy to digest just like that. Even those who initially seemed indifferent now looked a little shaken.

The tension peaked when the man in seat number VII suddenly slammed the table. The loud sound broke the silence.

”This is crazy! I won’t do something dangerous like that! If you want those worlds to survive, save them yourselves! I never asked for this second chance!”

’Stupid.’

Charlie, who was sitting calmly in seat number V, glanced at the man as if he was looking at someone stupid. Not only him, most of the people in the room seemed to have similar thoughts.

Alaya’s eyes, which had been indifferent all this time, suddenly stared sharply at the man in seat number VII. His voice remained flat, but it contained power that made the atmosphere even colder.

”Don’t forget who gave you this second chance. Because we gave you a new life, we also have the power to take it back. Don’t forget, you’re nothing more than someone who is already dead.”

The man fell silent, his body trembling with fear. He didn’t dare to answer back.

”Since we were given anime character templates, does that mean the world we’re going to save is an anime world?” Raising his question, Charlie asked his doubts.

”As expected of my chosen Savior, you can already guess it with just a little bit. You’re right, Charlie Avalon. Japanese anime isn’t just fictional entertainment, but a Planar World that truly exists in another universe. As for why people on Earth have information about that Planar World and make it into anime, manga, and light novels, you guys don’t need to know.”

Gaia was very satisfied with her two chosen Saviors, Charlie and Wang Jian. Compared to the Savior chosen by Alaya like the man in seat number VII, who acted arrogantly, her chosen Saviors performed beyond the other Saviors.

”Thank you for being willing to answer my question.” Charlie expressed his gratitude. There were still other questions in his thoughts, but he felt no need to rush.

*👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻*

Gaia clapped her hands, this time with cheerful energy, trying to restore the atmosphere that had become too tense.

”Okay, okay. Before we go any further, let’s get to know each other first. After all, you’ll be working together to deal with the Abyssal Devourer, you need to be familiar with each other. Starting from seat number I. Please introduce your name and a little bit of your background in your previous life. By the way, it’s mandatory to tell the world you’re currently living in and your template name.”

Instantly, everyone turned to look at the pink-haired woman in seat number I.

”So I’m the first one, huh... This reminds me of the introduction session in class when I entered school on the first day. How nostalgic...”

Not feeling nervous being stared at by everyone, the woman stood up, and spoke in an old-fashioned style.
