Not Being a Trainer This Time

The humans in the underground shelters cheered for Giratina, placing all their hopes on it.

Finally, all humanity transformed into light and fought alongside Giratina.

Naoki: ”...”

That was truly a wonderful misunderstanding.

At this moment, Giratina noticed Naoki’s expression and curiously asked: ”What are you thinking about?”

Naoki snapped back to reality, quickly shook his head, and said: ”It’s nothing, nothing. You go on playing, I have something to do over by the World Tree.”

”Go on, go on!”

Giratina replied carelessly, then focused on surfing the internet.

Naoki turned to look back.

He saw Giratina lying on Flower Sky Island, basking in the warm sunshine, smiling while talking to Phone Rotom.

In that moment, a thought suddenly emerged in Naoki’s mind.

If that’s the case, does it mean Giratina will never feel lonely again?

At first, Naoki was a bit worried that Giratina and Phone Rotom wouldn’t get along.

But now, it appeared they had become the closest companions.

Rotom diligently taught Giratina how to surf the internet, and Giratina would buy food online for Rotom.

Undoubtedly, Giratina viewed Rotom as a little follower.

But Naoki believed that if Rotom were in danger, Giratina would certainly do its best to protect it.

For friends and followers, the often irritable Giratina was indeed a reliable and trustworthy elder brother.

Naoki smiled slightly, then withdrew his gaze from Giratina, turning toward the World Tree.

Riding the World Tree elevator, he arrived at the top floor unimpeded.

After more than half a month, several new buildings had sprung up on what was once a bare grassland.

The first to be completed was the warehouse used by Pokémon to store food.

Upon seeing Naoki arrive, Keri stepped forward to introduce these places to Naoki.

”So far, the café, warehouse, Pokémon dormitory, and restaurant have all been completed. The remaining facilities like the guild headquarters, item shop, Pokémon hospital, and training room are under construction, expected to be finished around late April or early May.”

Naoki nodded, pushing open the warehouse door, discovering it was already filled to the brim with berries.

”These were brought over by Treecko and Arboliva. They pick berries from the orchard every day and store them here,” Keri explained.

Just then, Naoki noticed a pile of dried berries and berry juice in a corner of the warehouse.

He was momentarily stunned and then asked in surprise: ”What’s that?”

Keri shook her head: ”I didn’t make those. Apparently, the Pokémon made them themselves, but I don’t know where they learned how to make dried berries.”

”Huh?” This news left Naoki quite surprised.

Did the Pokémon come up with this method using their own intelligence?

Turning berries into dried berries certainly extends their storage life and makes them easy to carry, suitable for eating during travel or adventures.

Interesting, Naoki decided to go find those Pokémon to see.

Keri continued with the construction work, while Naoki turned around, preparing to find Arboliva to inquire about the situation.

He ate a few pieces of Translation Nuts Cake, and eventually found Arboliva in a clearing in the forest.

Not just Arboliva; Treecko, Milotic, Tropius, Tatsugiri, and other Pokémon had all gathered there.

Even several Dragonites had run over!

What surprised Naoki even more was that these Pokémon were actually lining up.

At the end of the line, Slowking sat on a large rock, looking thoughtful, like a philosopher contemplating life.

At the front of the line was Milotic.

It looked at Slowking, inquiring: ”Muu? (When I use Water Gun to water the berry trees, I often need to use it dozens of times to finish watering all the trees, but it feels so tiring and my energy can’t support using Water Gun anymore. Besides this watering method, is there a better way?)”

Slowking on the stone showed a thoughtful expression, and after a while, it replied: ”Why not transfer your Water Type energy to the sky and turn it into rain to fall down?”

In this way, all the berry trees could be watered at once.

Upon hearing this, Milotic’s eyes brightened.

It immediately began to try, and after a few failures, Milotic finally found the knack and performed Rain Dance.

Soon, a rain cloud appeared above the forest, and drizzling raindrops started falling.

Some Pokémon below were drenched, hurriedly seeking shelter from the rain.

However, Tatsugiri, Slowking, and Milotic, being water-type Pokémon, loved environments full of water.

So, instead of avoiding the rain, they happily danced in it.

Next, three Tatsugiri jumped to the front of the big rock.

”Mii! Mii? (How can we properly manage a sushi shop?)”

Slowking began to think deeply again.

After a long time, it slowly opened its mouth: ”Treat your customers sincerely. When they feel your sincerity, they will visit your sushi shop frequently.”

Tatsugiri excitedly bounced a few times, indicating they remembered!

Naoki was quite amazed watching this scene.

Goodness, has Slowking become the Great Sage?!

At this moment, Arboliva noticed Naoki arriving.
