900 Chapter 900 442: As If an Old Friend Returns 2026-11-03

In the meadow, Koraidon lowered its head, looking at its past self.

It knew well why Cyclizar was feeling sad, because it had once gone through the same thing.

At that time, another Koraidon had said something to it, words that it hadn’t forgotten even today.

Thinking of this, Koraidon opened its mouth: ”Gaa hiss.” (I have things I can do, and you also have things you can do.)

Cyclizar was slightly stunned, its gaze toward Koraidon filled with bewilderment.

”Gaa row?” (What do you mean?) Cyclizar couldn’t help but ask.

Koraidon gazed at Cyclizar with its pair of golden eyes, its expression serious, questioning:

”Gaa hiss?” (Haven’t you always wanted to be the most reliable Pokemon by Naoki’s side? Are you going to give up here now? In this state, can you still help Naoki?)

Cyclizar was taken aback, it hadn’t expected Koraidon to talk to it about these matters.

But when the topic was brought up, its emotions instantly became even lower.

Cyclizar drooped its head depressingly, its voice very small: ”Gaa row...” (You can do all those things, even without me it’s okay, Naoki doesn’t really need me...)

Cyclizar looked at the Koraidon in front of it, its form was so grand and strong, its height so tall, its strength so mighty.

It also wanted to become such a Pokemon.

But it was impossible because Cyclizar simply couldn’t evolve, it couldn’t undergo a transformation like Slowpoke evolving into Slowking.

Upon hearing Cyclizar’s words, Koraidon couldn’t help but sigh helplessly.

It shook its head, saying: ”Gaa hiss.” (In the future, you’ll definitely be able to help Naoki, becoming his most reliable assistant, just like me.)

Seeing Koraidon’s certainty, Cyclizar was very surprised, its eyes filled with confusion and puzzlement.

”Gaa row?” (How do you know?)

However, Koraidon did not answer, simply gazing at Cyclizar, thinking to itself: that’s because I am your future self.

There never was any Koraidon; from beginning to end, it was always that kind-hearted Cyclizar.

After a pause, Koraidon added: ”Gaa hiss.” (In the future, I will leave here, and at that time Naoki will be left in your care.)

Since it and Cyclizar can only exist as one, let its past self accompany Naoki!

When the time comes, it will prevent Cyclizar from going to that place, so Cyclizar won’t fall into the Time Machine, nor have to watch the moon for so many years in that ancient space.

Upon hearing this, Cyclizar was stunned.

At this moment it couldn’t dwell on feeling bad anymore, it hurriedly asked: ”Gaa row?” (Leave? Where are you going?)

Koraidon didn’t know either. If the event of the future doesn’t happen, it’s likely to be corrected by time and disappear.

”Gaa hiss.” Koraidon said, until then, let it accompany Naoki a bit longer!

Cyclizar was very heavy-hearted, was Koraidon leaving the meadow because of it?

But Cyclizar knew that Koraidon had come from a very distant time, because Naoki had once told it tales of Koraidon.

Koraidon lived in a very ancient world, full of dangers and fierce, terrifying Pokemon, experiencing countless battles and training there before growing into a powerful Pokemon.

And now, Koraidon was here alone in its world, it had no mother and no friends here.

How pitiful...

If Koraidon leaves, where can it go?

Cyclizar felt both unbearable and guilty inside.

After a while, it looked at Koraidon, saying: ”Gaa row!” (If you leave, Naoki will be very sad, I could share my mom with you, please stay!)

Koraidon was speechless internally, what sharing mom, wasn’t that its mom too...

Koraidon didn’t directly answer but continued: ”Gaa hiss!” (Let’s make a promise!)

”Gaa row?”

”Gaa hiss.” (Today’s affair is a secret, don’t tell Naoki, next I’ll keep teaching you my skills, one day you’ll use them to protect Naoki.)

This was the promise it made with its past self.

Cyclizar dumbly looked up at Koraidon before it, although it didn’t quite understand, it could still sense that Koraidon seemed to have made some determination.

Koraidon promised: ”Gaa hiss.” (You will definitely use them in the future, if you remain like this, when I’m not here and Naoki faces difficulties, you won’t be able to assist him.)

These words touched Cyclizar’s heartstrings.

It had always wanted to help Naoki, to become his most reliable Pokemon.

Both Pokemon gazed into each other’s eyes.

Koraidon’s expression was so earnest, Cyclizar was dazed, could it really use those skills to help Naoki in the future?

In response, Koraidon’s answer was affirmative.

After a good while, Cyclizar slowly regained its composure.

It earnestly looked at Koraidon, this mighty Pokemon.

”Gaa row, gaa row!” (Don’t go, I’ll eat well, I won’t do this again!)

This Pokemon thought it was because of its envy of Koraidon as Naoki’s most reliable assistant that Koraidon decided to leave the meadow.
