Not Being a Trainer This Time

Upon hearing these words, big brother Dragonite couldn’t help but furrow its eyebrows, deep in thought.

Soon, a serious expression appeared on its face.

Seeing this, Naoki finally spoke: ”So, does everyone understand?”

”Roar!” The Dragonites all nodded their heads, indicating that they remembered.

Next, Naoki looked over at the Phone Rotoms and said to them:

”I’ll leave the Dragonites in your care. If someone tries to harm or capture them, you must contact me immediately, and if you can’t reach me, contact Calyrex or Giratina.”

The Phone Rotoms all agreed in unison, indicating they understood.

Naoki then nodded.

He had already asked two Legendary Pokemon for help.

Both Calyrex and Giratina agreed, promising to rush to the rescue upon receiving any information.

Among them, Giratina was the most enthusiastic.

It assured Naoki that from now on, the Dragonites would be its little brothers, and it would look after them!

If anyone dared to bully them, it would immediately travel through the internet to take those guys down, and then rescue the Dragonites.

When Naoki heard these words from Giratina, he was initially confused until he learned from Phone Rotom that Giratina had been watching a movie about gangsters filmed by Pokemon Hollywood.

Rotom said the gangster movie told the story of a loyal human leading his followers to battle against other gangs, eventually becoming the kingpin ruling all gangs worldwide.

Giratina felt that this human matched its style, so it fantasized about becoming a Pokemon like that and having a group of followers.

Therefore, when Naoki asked for its help, Giratina agreed without hesitation.

Although Giratina sometimes had a temper, it was reliable in this regard.

With the dual protection of Calyrex and Giratina, if anyone tried to capture the Dragonites, Giratina would immediately travel through the internet for retribution.

Thus, he could finally rest assured.

The Dragonites embarked on a new day’s work, carrying goods as they followed the navigation from the Phone Rotoms to make deliveries for customers.

Naoki then started a thorough cleaning of the house with the Indeedee Sibling.

With so many Pokemon, their toys were scattered all over the place, and sometimes Pokemon would track mud inside after playing outdoors, dirtying the living room.

As Naoki busied himself around the house, the Eevees frolicked around him.

When Naoki turned around, he noticed a trail of muddy footprints on the newly cleaned floor.

!!!

”You naughty Eevees, you’ve dirtied the floor all over, go outside and play!”

Naoki took a deep breath, deciding to chase all the Pokemon outside, sending them off to play in the ranch.

The mischievous Eevees scampered away playfully, and Flutter Mane, who was inspecting the food in the fridge, also prepared to head outside upon hearing this.

Naoki noticed Flutter Mane’s movement, and quickly called it back: ”Flutter Mane, I wasn’t talking about you, you keep playing over there!”

Flutter Mane rarely landed on the floor, so it didn’t dirty the floors at all.

”Mane.”

Flutter Mane let out a soft response, floating back to its spot.

Seeing Flutter Mane stay, Koraidon, who was about to leave, also paused, deciding to remain in the living room.

Naoki noticed this scene, looking as if he wanted to say something but ended up stopping.

”Aaah-sshhh?”

Naoki sighed helplessly, ”Ugh, fine, where’s Cyclizar?”

Koraidon turned to look outside: ”Aaah-sshhh!”

It had just seen Cyclizar, Ogerpon, and Gholdengo head over to Snorlax Park to play.

Witnessing this, Naoki understood.

He told Koraidon, ”Go help me call them all over, I need to give you guys a decent bath today.”

”Aaah-sshhh!”

Koraidon responded, turning and running off.

By the time Naoki and the Indeedee Sibling finished cleaning the house, Koraidon brought a long line of Pokemon back.

Naoki went to the bathroom and filled several basins with water, as there were quite a few Pokemon he could only wash them one by one.

Starting with the non-furry Pokemon, as they only required a quick rinse and a splash of fragrant body wash, taking no time at all.

Koraidon, Cyclizar, Gholdengo, and Ogerpon were all done within five minutes.

The furry Pokemon, however, took more time, as they needed thorough cleaning of their fur, and after bathing, their fur had to be dried to prevent colds.

But thanks to the Slugma at home, this wasn’t a problem.

Thus, after washing each Eevee, Naoki sent them to the fireplace.

The Slugma living in the heating ducts had been called to the fireplace area by Naoki, where its body heat could be used like a dryer.

The soaked-fur Eevees sat crouched in front of the fireplace, allowing the high temperatures emitted by Slugma to dry the water from their fur.

Perhaps the environment was too cozy, as all the Eevees lay lazily, yawning contentedly, even exposing their little bellies.

So when Naoki came out of the bathroom, he was greeted with this sight—

A bunch of Eevees lounging in front of the fireplace, looking peaceful and content. Some leisurely swayed their tails, others lay on their paws, some were about to drift to sleep, and a few were sprawled out on their backs, displaying their half-damp bellies.
