900 Chapter 900 442: As If an Old Friend Returns 2026-11-03

Naoki discovered that the World Tree, mutated from the Grass Energy of the Gogoat, is quite special.

Unlike the World Tree in the Kanto Region, this one can absorb energy through Synthesis to provide sunlight to its internal areas.

Its interior is a self-contained space; if described in one sentence, it’s a mini Pokemon World ecological simulator.

As the name implies, the World Tree can simulate all external environments internally and infuse them with vitality and energy.

For instance, this ocean transferred by Calyrex, the World Tree can inject Natural Energy into it and let it flow.

Standing on Dragonite Island, Naoki looked around the surrounding waters, contemplating the next goals in this mysterious space.

Indeed, this area is rich in water resources, which can serve both as a Land of Dragons for the Dragonites and provide a habitat for some Water Type Pokemon.

Like Lapras, Corsola, Luvdisc, and Starmie.

In this way, the ecological zone for Water Type Pokemon habitation is basically completed.

”If only I could establish a connection with Groudon and Kyogre.” Naoki thought inwardly.

If those two Pokemon are willing to settle on the World Tree, he could build two distinct ecological zones centered around them.

As the Sea God, Kyogre can endlessly create seawater to provide life to this water area, and working with the World Tree, it can revitalize this ocean with even greater vitality.

Meanwhile, the Earth God Groudon can create the earth and magma.

If Groudon were present, an ecological zone could be formed centered around it, providing homes for Fire Type Pokemon, Rock Type Pokemon, and Ground Type Pokemon in a lava ecological area.

Unfortunately, he doesn’t have much chance to interact with these two Pokemon.

Moreover, Groudon and Kyogre are sworn enemies, and if they live in the same place, chaos would inevitably ensue.

After brief contemplation, Naoki returned his thoughts to reality.

Now that Dragonite Island has been relocated, the next step is to plant fish fry there.

The ranch hasn’t initiated the aquaculture industry yet, so it can’t directly supply fish fry; thus, Naoki plans to go to the town and ask Zack for information regarding purchasing fish fry.

Besides, it’s March now, the time for Calyrex to accelerate the World Tree’s growth.

After bidding farewell to the Dragonites, Naoki took the World Tree elevator to leave the place and drove a pickup truck to the town. Eventually, he found Zack at Porto Marinada Market.

Upon hearing Naoki’s purpose, Zack seemed quite surprised.

”Buying fish fry? What’s up? Are you planning to breed fish?”

Naoki nodded: ”Sort of, but I’m not farming fish for selling, rather to feed the Dragonites, so just regular fish fry, not Fish-type Pokemon.”

”I see!” Zack knew about the Dragonite couriers from Naoki Ranch; he nodded with a smile, ”Alright, no problem! Leave this task to me, I’ll contact nearby fish fry bases this afternoon.”

”It’s up to you then.” Naoki gifted Zack two cans of Rock Salt produced at the ranch as a token of gratitude.

Zack had helped him a lot, so he couldn’t keep troubling him—doing so would be impolite.

Zack breezily presented him with a bag of cherries: ”I just picked these cherries from Elif Cherry Garden, they’re sweet—take them back for the Cyclizar to eat!”

Spring is the season for cherries; the cherries from Elif Cherry Garden are large and round, well-known in Porto Marinada Town.

Naoki expressed his gratitude and then bid farewell to Zack, turning back to the ranch.

Calyrex and Koraidon were already waiting for him by the centerpiece lake of the ranch.

The group ventured into the Reversed World, where Calyrex activated its ability to accelerate the World Tree’s growth.

In the next instant, the enormous World Tree emitted a glowing green light, its leaves gently swaying in the breeze, creating a rustling sound.

Meanwhile, on the World Tree.

Keri and the Machamps, who were at work, heard the sound. Looking up, they saw all the leaves above their heads emitting a soft green glow.

The surrounding vegetation, as if in resonance, also changed, becoming more lush.

In the orchard, Treeckos had just picked a batch of Berries from the trees and were preparing to store them in the tree hole together with Tropius.

However, just as they were about to leave, they suddenly saw the entire orchard enveloped in a layer of green light.

Within the glow, those fruit trees quickly bore new Berries at a visibly fast pace.

Almost in the blink of an eye, the branches of all the fruit trees were loaded again with heavy, sweet fruits.

”Chatot!!!”

The startled Treeckos accidentally dropped the leaves they were using to carry Berries, a large heap of berries tumbling to the ground.

One Treecko, witnessing this incredible scene, couldn’t help but murmur: ”Chatot...” So many Berries!

They can’t possibly eat them all, they can’t finish them!

Compared to the shocked Treeckos, Arboliva remained considerably calm.

Thinking of the Dragonites moving into the World Tree for residence, it gently suggested, ”Li, Li~” (If we can’t eat them all, let’s share them with the Dragonites~)
