900 Chapter 900 442: As If an Old Friend Returns 2026-11-03

That evening, the working Dragonites returned to Dragonite Island, which lay upon the vast sea.

Since they had decided to stay at the World Tree to live, today they wanted to bid a proper farewell to their companions on Dragon Island.

On the endless stretch of the sea, Dragonite Island sat quietly, as if a moon hanging in the night sky.

Nurtured by Dragon Power, the island’s vegetation was lush, and clusters of berries grew on the trees sprouting from the ground.

”Rustle, rustle!”

A sound came from the leaves in the forest, and a Dragonite’s head poked out from among them, using its chubby paw to pick a bunch of berries, which it then placed into its mouth.

The juice from the fruit burst inside Dragonite’s mouth immediately, and it chewed with great satisfaction.

Not far behind this Dragonite, lay a circular lake.

Many Dragonites, Dragonairs, and Dratinis were playing by its side.

”Awuuu~!”

A string of melodious calls came from the sky.

The Dragonites on the island all raised their heads to look up, seeing the Dragonites who had gone to help humans return to the island.

The eyes of some Dratinis and Dragonairs playing in the clear lake water suddenly lit up.

When those Dragonites landed, they gathered around, looking eagerly at the Poffin Boxes in the adult Dragonites’ hands.

The eldest Dragonite, seeing this scene, skillfully distributed the Poffins to the younger Dratinis and Dragonairs.

Apart from these Dratinis and Dragonairs, some other Dragonites on the island were also attracted over.

They gazed with adorable eyes at the Poffin Boxes their companions held, as if asking: ”What does that taste like?”

If it were any other day, the working Dragonites might only share one or two Poffins. But today was their last night on the island, and they would soon live comfortably on the ranch.

In that case, these delicious Poffins would be farewell gifts for their fellow Dragonites!

After all, they weren’t in short supply; Naoki and his sister Indeedee would make plenty of delicious Poffins for them, to the point where they almost got tired of them.

”Awuuu~”

Thinking of this, the working Dragonites opened the Poffin Boxes and shared the Poffins with the other Dragonites.

Gradually, more and more Dragonites were drawn in.

They happily ate the Poffins, surprised at why these Dragonites were being so generous today, giving all the Poffins to them instead of eating them themselves.

In response, one of the working Dragonites happily replied:

”Awuuu~” (Because from tomorrow, we will move to live with Naoki~)

Hearing this, the Dragonites were shocked.

”Awuu?!”

Some Dragonites were astonished by their decision to leave Dragonite Island so soon.

Some Dragonites also realized that if they moved, they might never be able to eat such delicious Poffins again?!

This news quickly reached the ears of an elderly Dragonite on Dragonite Island.

The elder Dragonite stepped forward and asked: ”Awuuu?” (Have you already decided?)

The working Dragonites nodded, excitedly telling these Dragonites about life on the ranch.

”Awuu.” (Naoki is a really nice human, and he’s very capable.)

”Awuuu~” (Thanks to Naoki, I was able to evolve into Dragonite~)

”Awuu awuu!” (I really like life there; every day, I just need to help Rotom deliver milk to get lots of food and money. Rotom said I can buy things I like with money!)

”Awuu!” (That’s right! Plus, if we perform well, Naoki will use that magical power to help us get stronger!)

The Dragonites listened quietly, their eyes full of curiosity.

These words sparked a touch of curiosity in some Dragonites who originally had no interest in the ranch or the human named Naoki.

Yet, some stubborn Dragonites still showed concern.

”Awuu...” (But if you leave, how will I be able to eat Poffins again...)

A working Dragonite thought carefully for a moment, then replied: ”Awuu!” (You can come work too!)

Another working Dragonite nodded: ”Awuu!” (That’s right! If you work, Naoki will give you lots of Poffins!)

Hearing this, a small light bulb appeared above the head of the Dragonite who asked that question.

”Awuu!”

That’s a great idea!

The eyes of other Dragonites, who suddenly realized they wouldn’t get to eat Poffins, also lit up.

Yes! Why didn’t they think of that?

If they worked too, wouldn’t they get to eat delicious Poffins every day?

So, early the next morning, a large group of Dragonites set off from Dragonite Island, crossing the vast Paldea Sea to the Paldea Region.

During this journey, an ocean liner detected their presence.

The captain and first mate stood on the deck, observing the scene with binoculars.

Some tourists were attracted to the deck, and as they looked at the distant scene, they were all astonished.

So many Dragonites... were they migrating?

Migrating Dragonites were an extremely rare sight in the wild!

Many tourists believed seeing Dragonites was a good omen and began to make wishes to the Dragonites.
