Not Being a Trainer This Time

Naoki: ”...”

He glanced at the message and found it was sent five minutes ago.

Calyrex had already replied below.

[Farmer: Stay calm, and you’ll feel much better.]

[The Most Powerful Giratina in the World: Hmph, you don’t know those two annoying guys! They just can’t stand each other. Every time they meet, they start fighting, and their battles always mess up my Reversed World. Those two outdated geezers, their minds are always stuck in the past.]

Naoki: ”...”

The two outdated geezers, does that refer to Time God Dialga and God of Space Palkia?

The current timeline seems to have reached the Hoenn Region, with only a year left until those major events happen in the Sinnoh Region.

If he remembers correctly, by then, the space-time occupied by Dialga and Palkia will collide, and the two Pokemon will fight fiercely in a place called Alamos Town.

And all of this is the precursor to the Creator God Arceus waking up from its slumber.

Who’d have thought that signs of it were starting to appear already?

But speaking of which, it’s rather funny that Giratina referred to Dialga and Palkia as two outdated geezers.

Heh...

Naoki couldn’t hold back a laugh, and he opened the Pokemon Forum with great interest, clicking on Giratina’s personal homepage.

Only to see its follower count has impressively reached seven digits.

[The Most Powerful Giratina in the World (Annual VIP 10 — Followers: 5,550,384)]

Wow! Giratina’s followers have surpassed 5.5 million!

Naoki was quite shocked, he then clicked on Calyrex’s personal homepage and found Calyrex only had five million followers.

Compared to Giratina, who made a fortune by taking photos every day, Calyrex was much more laid back about the Pokemon Forum.

Aside from occasionally replying to private messages and queries from netizens, it never made any posts.

But what’s the deal with the annual VIP 10 on Giratina’s homepage?

Where did it get the money to buy membership?

Naoki was quite surprised, and on his way to the World Tree, he made a stop at Giratina’s Flower Sky Island to ask about it.

Giratina proudly replied: ”Hmph, all of that is donated by my fans! I have a lot of money now, Rotom, show Naoki my savings!”

”Received, Rotom!” Rotom quickly displayed Giratina’s personal account balance.

Naoki leaned in to count: ”Ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, hundred thousands, millions... 1.6 million?”

Naoki’s eyes widened in disbelief; is being an influencer this lucrative?!

Giratina was extremely proud: ”Sometimes humans can be quite considerate.”

At that moment, Naoki noticed that there were many new items on the Sky Island.

He checked closer and found that they were all specially made food for Electric Type Pokemon.

”What are these?!” Naoki asked in surprise.

Before Giratina could answer, Phone Rotom chimed in with a happy electronic sound:

”These are treats Giratina bought for me, Rotom!”

Giratina gave Naoki an oblique glance and said with grandeur: ”I have money now. Is there anything you want? I can buy it for you online!”

Naoki: ”...”

It’s evident that Giratina has made rapid progress recently, even learning to use shopping apps.

It’s no wonder it called Dialga and Palkia outdated geezers.

”Never mind, keep your money for yourself. I don’t want anything,” Naoki said.

However, Naoki was quite interested in Giratina’s fan base.

He wanted to find out where all those Giratina fans came from.

So, Naoki got Rotom to check the locations of Giratina’s fans from the back end.

”Received, Rotom!”

Phone Rotom immediately conducted a background check on Giratina’s personal homepage.

Soon, a detailed interface popped up on the screen.

[Fan Sources — Sinnoh Region: 58%, Kanto Region: 8%, Johto Region: 2%, Hoenn Region: 6%, Kalos Region: 4%, Unova Region: 7%, Galar Region: 3%, Alola Region: 2%, Paldea Region: 8%, Others: 2%]

Naoki instantly widened his eyes.

Wow, Giratina has so many fans in Sinnoh?!

Wait! Naoki suddenly noticed something: Could it be that the people in the Sinnoh Region revere Giratina as a great god?

Thinking of this, Naoki immediately searched online.

Soon, he found several news articles about people in Sinnoh building Giratina statues in city parks.

Moreover, the Sinnoh League had also allocated a significant amount of money to support the construction of these statues.

Seeing this, Naoki was at a loss for words for a moment.

Because he suddenly recalled something.

In the movie ”Arceus and the Jewel of Life,” when Arceus awakens, it plans to destroy humanity out of anger.

By then, Giratina, along with Dialga and Palkia, will unite to stop Arceus.

If humans were to witness such a thing, wouldn’t they think that Giratina is fighting against the god to protect humanity?

Naoki couldn’t even dare imagine such a scenario.

It’s really bizarre!

The commotion from the Legendary Beast battle would undoubtedly attract some humans to live stream it, and Giratina’s fans would watch its heroic figure in action during the stream.

Thinking about this, Naoki couldn’t help but visualize a scene—

The angry god punishing humanity, countless meteors falling from the sky, brave Giratina rushing to the battlefield to protect humanity and the planet, but ultimately falling short.
