Not Being a Trainer This Time

Before surfacing, Naoki looked at the school of Wishiwashi leading the way for him.

Wishiwashi, this kind of Pokemon, has moist, glowing eyes, making them irresistibly endearing and very cute.

Plus, due to their very weak power, they naturally have a pitiful and lovable demeanor.

Naoki reached into his pocket, took out the last bottle of MooMoo Milk, opened the cap, and let the milky white liquid flow into the sea.

Seeing this, the school of Wishiwashi were overjoyed, eagerly swimming forward to drink the milk.

Looking at these adorable little Fish-type Pokemon, Naoki was moved and then asked:

”Wishiwashi, would you like to come live with me?”

The school of Wishiwashi quickly finished sharing the milk, and upon hearing these words, they all turned their gaze toward Naoki.

”To my place, where no Pokemon will harm you, and I’ll teach you how to plant seaweed underwater, so that as long as you spend a little time tending to it, you’ll never have to worry about being hungry.” Naoki said with a smile.

Wishiwashi, these Water Type Pokemon, are indeed so cute, and more than that, they can guide him.

Naoki wanted to invite them back to settle on Dragonite Island, as a way to thank them for helping him find Shellder, and to bolster the nearby marine ecosystem, creating a complete ecological system.

The Wishiwashi at this moment had fully trusted this human in front of them, and upon hearing this, they happily agreed.

Seeing this, Naoki happily took out a Poke Ball and captured the Wishiwashi.

But the number of Wishiwashi was really too large, with at least a hundred in front, and the Poke Balls were simply not enough.

After thinking it over briefly, Naoki asked the Wishiwashi to wait here for a bit, then surfaced.

Koraidon was idly patting the sea water with its claws.

Hearing the commotion from the sea surface not far away, it quickly lifted its head and looked over in that direction.

”Ah-gah-sis!”

Koraidon swiftly swam over.

Naoki reached out and patted its large head, then used the Rotom Phone to call Calyrex, intending to ask for his help in using Psychic to directly transfer these Wishiwashi into the World Tree.

Soon, the call connected, and upon hearing Naoki’s plan, Calyrex said nothing.

He directly used Teleport to arrive at the beach of Porto Marinada Town and then used Psychic again to transfer all these Wishiwashi, Slowking, Naoki, Koraidon, and Cyclizar into the World Tree.

On Dragonite Island, the Dragonites, who were sitting on the beach eating Berries, were all startled by the sudden occurrence.

It wasn’t until they clearly saw Naoki’s figure that they all breathed a sigh of relief.

So it was Naoki!

Naoki greeted the Dragonites and then released the school of Wishiwashi into this sea area.

He jumped into the water and said to the school of Wishiwashi: ”From now on, this place is your new home. There are no dangers here, so rest assured and settle down!”

The school of Wishiwashi looked around and didn’t find any dangers in this sea area, which meant that what Naoki said was true.

A sea without dangers... The school of Wishiwashi also saw lush seaweed and algae growing on the seabed.

So much food, is this paradise?

The faces of the Wishiwashi showed expressions of happiness.

”So that’s settled then, I still have some things to do, I’ll come back later to teach you how to cultivate algae and create a bustling underwater farm.” Naoki said with a light laugh.

The school of Wishiwashi nodded repeatedly and then began forming a large pack to explore this unfamiliar sea area.

Next, Naoki planned to take Slowking to the top layer of the World Tree to have a proper conversation with it using Translation Nuts Cake.

Before leaving, he specifically instructed the Dragonites not to harm those newly joined Wishiwashi.

Seeing Naoki say this, the Dragonites, already having an abundance of seabass and Berries, nodded their large heads, indicating they wouldn’t harm the little fish.

”I believe in you.” Naoki said with a smile while patting the Dragonites on their heads.

The school of Wishiwashi could care for the algae, and their appetites are so small that they couldn’t possibly finish off all the algae.

In such a situation, the excess algae would be eaten by those edible ordinary seabass.

Then the Dragonites could start enjoying this delicious fish meat.

After leaving Dragonite Island, Naoki took a few Pokemon and rode the World Tree elevator all the way up.

During this time, Slowking maintained a wise gaze, seemingly deep in thought.

It wasn’t until they reached that lake that Slowking snapped back to reality.

Naoki ate a piece of Translation Nuts Cake, trying to use this method to communicate with Slowking.

”Slowking, can you hear what I’m saying now?”

Slowking looked at him and nodded: ”I can hear you, hello, Naoki.”

Indeed, the Translation Nuts Cake worked! Naoki felt a relief in his heart.

He continued to ask: ”Can you speak human language or Pokemon language? Previously, we couldn’t understand what you were saying, not me nor other Pokemon.”

Slowking nodded slightly: ”I can’t speak human language, but I can speak Pokemon language. The language I was speaking was one I invented myself.”

Naoki: ”...”

As expected of a Pokemon renowned for its high intelligence!
