Not Being a Trainer This Time

When it comes to cross-regional delivery, Naoki, after much deliberation, still felt it was important not to rush things.

The wave of popularity inevitably draws some Pokemon hunters from other regions, who intentionally place orders to lure Dragonite over, only to capture them all in one fell swoop.

Compared to humans, Pokemon are still too naïve, even Legendary Pokemon are no exception.

In the anime alone, many Legendary Pokemon have been captured by humans using technology and schemes.

Such as Sea God Lugia, Celebi, Latios, Lake Guardians, Meloetta, Suicune...

Even Time God Dialga and Space God Palkia have been controlled.

Thinking of this, Naoki replied to those who requested cross-regional delivery.

[Naoki Ranch (Merchant): Sorry, for now, our delivery service is limited to the Paldea Region. Distances to other regions are too great, and I’m concerned that the delivery Dragonites might encounter danger.]

This reply quickly made its way to the Pokemon Forum through screenshots.

Smart people immediately understood Naoki’s concern that the Dragonites would encounter Pokemon hunters in other regions!

There was not much the netizens could say about this reply.

In all major regions, there are cases where rare Pokemon are hunted by hunters and then sold on the black market.

Especially strong and rare Dragon-type Pokemon like Dragonite are very popular among Pokemon hunters.

Worrying about the Dragonites at home encountering danger is only natural.

But soon, a netizen raised a question, doesn’t the Paldea Region have any Pokemon hunters?

This time, before Naoki could comment, someone else replied on his behalf.

[Paldea Chief Champion Geeta: That’s right, the Paldea Region has always had great security! Thanks to our hardworking Paldea League staff, who tirelessly work to maintain regional peace! We welcome everyone to travel and settle in the Paldea Region!]

Geeta shared the message.

Naoki: ”...”

Geeta’s words were indeed a truth; he had never seen such a hardworking Pokemon League.

Everyone from top to bottom worked the same way, not just Larry, even Geeta often worked overtime losing track of time.

Any emergency in major cities, the Paldea League immediately sends personnel to resolve it.

Like when a giant Dragonite entered the Paldea Sea a few years back, the chief champion stepped in personally.

If there’s any dangerous ”villain” in the Paldea Region, it would have to be Professor Sada and Professor Turo researching at the bottom of the Paldea Giant Pit...

Due to their actions, many ferocious Paradox Pokemon later broke through the Pit’s defense, intruding into the Paldea Region, causing quite a bit of trouble for Geeta and her team.

However, while Geeta is working hard on her side, he also wants to remind the Dragonites to be cautious.

As the saying goes, one should have precautions against people with bad intentions, but have no intention of harming others.

League Calendar Year 200, March 10, Spring, 6:25 am.

As the Dragonites left Dragonite Island heading towards the ranch to start a new day of work, Naoki gathered them all on the grass.

There were eleven working Dragonites plus his own, making a total of twelve Dragonites and a newly hatched Dratini at the ranch.

The Dragonite stood by Naoki’s side, arms crossed, looking towards the working Dragonites and their work partner Rotom.

Naoki cleared his throat twice and asked, ”Ahem, has the work been going smoothly these days?”

The Dragonites nodded, happily growling: ”Roar~”

The work was quite easy for them!

The Dragonites had an adorably clumsy appearance, their smiles were very cute, and Naoki smiled as he patted their heads, saying:

”But today, there’s something else I need to talk to you about.”

The Dragonites blinked, looking over curiously: ”Roar?”

”That is the possible dangers you might encounter during deliveries,” Naoki told them, ”Humans, like Pokemon, have different personalities. Some humans are kind-hearted, giving you cookies, like Mrs. Dantes and Lady Mary in town.”

”But there are others with dark intentions, who think of harming you, such as using stronger Pokemon to defeat you, then capturing you with nets or cages to sell at high prices.”

Upon hearing this, the Dragonites frowned, expressing their dislike for the second type of person.

But they were not afraid.

Led by the eldest Dragonite, the trio let out a low growl: ”Grrr.”

Indicating that if they encountered such individuals, they would teach them a harsh lesson!

Naoki shook his head: ”You must not underestimate them.”

”Roar?” The eldest Dragonite looked over in confusion.

Naoki glanced at his own Dragonite and used it as an example.

”If Dragonite had never shown its true strength, in your eyes, it would still be the same silly Dragonite, so you would continue to see it that way, but you wouldn’t realize that its strength has long since improved.”

”In such situations, if you were to face it in battle, what would happen then?”

Dragonite happily agreed with Naoki: ”Roar~”

Naoki smiled as he gently pinched its little pudgy paw.
